Thanks so much for posting this ecclesno9.
It's extremely interesting even though I've never seen the play. CE is so analytical and intelligent, it's a pleasure to read his take on things.

He certainly is meticulous with building his character and strives for authenticity, which I appreciate immensely. I think Ibsen would have loved to see him take on the characters he wrote.

I agree with you Mayzee and Kathy C

This is why I love Christopher so much as an actor. He will put flesh and blood into all the characters he portrays and makes them as real as possible, not only for the people who write but for those like us seeing it live, on the small screen or on film. He is an accomplished and indeed bold actor to take on such daring risks while some people I know won't.

Thanks so much for posting this ecclesno9. As usual CE is so interesting in his analyses of the play. In fact, all the actors are worth listening to in all the clips. I had a lovely time watching these videos. :)

I enjoyed all of the actors' commentaries. I like Chris the best of course, but all had something interesting to bring to the story. I really like how Chris looks in this play. He looks relaxed and like he's enjoying himself.

Hi Girls! I just found this one on a DT website, and it connects to the Dollhouse. Lovely, really lovely story and wonderful pics. You have to register though, but it is worth it, for it is a real treat for every Chris fan :) I just simply love and respect Chris Eccleston...have I mentioned that before? :$

I am not interested in seeing one document and visit to other movie stars' blog.

Furthermore, I dislike David Tennant's fans.

Oh, I'm really sorry to hear that :( It is quite an unfriendly generalization about DT fans, because I quite like David, although I'm not his fan and I know DT fans who are lovely. This girl, who posted the story about Chris for example.
Sorry, but I do not want to post the girl's story here because SHE wrote the article about her nephew and her meeting Chris at the Donmar warehouse and SHE is the one who made the wonderful photos of him and I thought linking it might be the easiest and most appropriate way to share the story.
I enjoyed it very much, it really shows how wonderful a person Chris is.

If your blog is scolded by david tennant's fans many times, I don't think that is strange for me to dislike david tennant's fans.

From United Kingdom to Hong Kong, in my opinion, david tennant's fans are unreasonable.

Even though I know David Tennant is gentleman, I think he needs to teach his fans well.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear him say he was having "difficulties" playing some of the role - it's unexpected to hear major actors talk that way about their parts, but it's very human and charming.

I think that after I am cleared my backlog of things to read I will read some Scandinavian and Eastern European literature, and Ibsen will certianly be on my list now.
