Requirements to Join Chapman Extravaganza

1) YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.(exceptions can be made at staff"s discretion)
2) YOU AGREE TO MAKE ONLY 1 (one) ACCOUNT HERE.
3) YOU AGREE TO ACT IN A MATURE MANNER ON THIS BOARD
4) YOU AGREE THAT YOU WILL NOT BRING DRAMA FROM OTHER BOARDS TO THIS BOARD
5) YOU AGREE NOT TO MAKE ANY SORT OF PERSONAL ATTACK ON THIS BOARD TOWARDS ANY STAFF, MEMBER OR ANYONE IN OR ASSOCIATED WITH THE CHAPMAN'S AND THEIR FAMILY.

FORUM POLICIES
These rules are in place to make it possible for everyone to have greater enjoyment from the Forum. They may be changed, or expanded at any time. It will be the responsibility of each member to be aware of what the policies are. Again, any questions, comments or concerns can be addressed to the Admin for rapid response.


1) NO PERSONAL ATTACKS
Personal attacks of any kind will NOT be tolerated here, be it towards another member, Forum staff, or any of the Chapman family or their friends or co-workers. A personal attack is when you blatantly attack a person for their beliefs, religion, opinion, etc. Whether or not you agree with what someone else says, you DO NOT have the right to attack a person for their opinion. If you are offended by another persons opinion then the onus is on you NOT the person who posted it. If you do not have anything nice to say then DO NOT say anything at all. Polite and respectful disagreement is acceptable. It adds to the discussion. Just make sure it isn't personal.
2) SEXUAL CONTENT SWEARING, AND DRUG REFERENCES
Excessive reference to sex or explicit discussion of sexual activity is unacceptable. This Forum will not have a fanfic section either, as a preventative measure. This is a matter of being a mature adult, and showing proper respect, for Duane Chapman and his family, as well as the other members of this Forum. Some light humour is acceptable, but we will be maintaining high standards in this area. Violations will be deleted at the admins discretion. NOT allowed either, are certain words that the Forum censor will be programmed to filter out. Do not attempt to "skirt " the word filters either. For example, if you are using a word you know the filter won't put through, it is not acceptable to substitute one letter with some form of punctuation. This is an example, using a word the filter would allow, "tulip". It is not permissible to spell it "tul*p" so the filter will let it go through. As well, no references to illegal drug use will be tolerated. This is completely in keeping with Duane Chapmans own policies. Promotion of illegal drugs in any way will be considered a "third" offense. These violations will be dealt with in the manner described in Rule 9.


3) NO CROSS BOARD DRAMA
Cross board drama will NOT be tolerated, if you have problems with someone from here, but the issue is on a different board DO NOT bring it here it will NOT be tolerated. We don't want to know.

4) ACCOUNTS
Anyone found to have more than 1 (one) account will be banned immediately, there are no exceptions to this rule.

5) AVATARS
Avatars will be provided in the avatar gallery for use by the members.

6) SIGNATURES
Signatures are to be no larger than 500x150 pixels, this is to include the graphic as well as any writing.

The signature graphic should be no larger than 50k in size, to check the size of your signature, right click on it and select 'Properties'. If you're signature is within the 500x150 limit but is larger than 50k then you should convert it into a .jpg this should reduce its file size.

7) PRIVATE MESSAGES
The Private Message (PM) system is to be used only between the writer, and receiver. PMs are not to be made public. Admin. can always be reached with PMs, and you will get a response as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact us at any time, if you have a question, concern, or suggestion.

8) ENGLISH LANGUAGE PLEASE
Please use full spelling of words, not text short forms. Not everyone texts, and consequently, the meanings of the posts are lost on them. We would like to keep our Forum accessible to all. Therefore we request that you refrain from using text short forms.

9) WARNING SYSTEM
This will apply to any violation of Forum rules. It is a 3-tier warning system. We understand typos and simple mistakes those will be dealt with accordingly. The warning system applies to re occurring violations.
For a first offense, the person in violation will be contacted in a PM from admin, and the problem explained. This will result in a 2 week warning against the person involved. At the end of the second week, if there are no further violations by the member, the warning will be lifted, at the discretion of the admin.
For a second violation, the member will be put on "mod approval", meaning all posts must be authorized by someone from the admin. group.
The third offense will result in banning.
Clear explanations will accompany all warning notices.
