Ganondorf/Ganon: Will he return?

Please. No ponies.

Well... looking the end of WW when Ganon gets head stabbed and trapped as stone deep in an ocean, and the end of TP where he supposedly dies after losing the Triforce of Power.

...I believe that it might be the end of Ganon unless Nintendo pulls some crap out of their ass and brings him back somehow.

This gives Vaati or even a new villain a chance to rise... which I would welcome for the new Zelda. Hopefully. As long as they don't bring back Bellum. He was the lamest villain EVAR.

I despise Vaati and sincerely hope he never returns.

That being said, I would absolutely love a new villain. Unfortunately, it's very likely they'll make another attempt at reviving Ganondorf. The best I can hope for, really, is an updated design and maybe a newer monstrous form for old Ganon.

Of course he'll come back. It's Zelda. Link+Zelda+Ganondorf=Zelda Game (Excluding a few). But, since this will be a new Link, it will be Ganondorf.

There are multiple Ganons just as there are Zeldas and Links, it wouldn't be surprising if he came back again. He almost certainly will. Quit it already, Vaati227. Octoroks are incapable of stealing souls, even Vaati himself is.

I'm pretty sure we've established the fact that Nintendo doesn't release Zelda games in their correct chronological order. Look for a prequel.

I dislike Vaati also, but I'm fine with Ganon. If they want to keep him, I won't complain. The game is just as fun either way.

He'll be back, count on it. Ninty may introduce new big baddies, but it just wouldn't be the same series totally without its most iconic antagonist.

They can easily release games before WW and TP. I don't have a problem with Vaati, as long as the gameplay is good.

Vaati is fine with me. Honestly, if they can make a REALLY FREAKING good reason why Ganon/dork would be back, then I'd be fine with him back. Or, it could just be a prequel, I don't care. If it's Zelda, I'll buy it. Just like Final Fantasy. I guess I wouldn't mind a new antagonist, as long as they were lame. Or kind of a let down, like I somewhat thought of Zant.

Zant was pretty cool for a puppet character. I'd like to see a game without Ganondorf, maybe set after one of his many defeats?

There are multiple Links and Zeldas, at least 3, but there's only ever been one Ganon. This always seems so confusing, yeah, Ganon could only have fought 2 Links, the one from OoT plus either the one from WW or TP.

The timeline split leads Ganon to his death in either case, for he has never been killed, only sealed away in the Sacred Realm, the Dark World, etc. Both WW and TP show him finally meeting an end at the Master Sword. He is dead, yes, either way.

But will he come back? It's possible, but Nintendo would be foolish to try it anytime soon. It's time for something else, for now at least. A new scenario, or the revamping of an old one. Personally, I want to see something like MM. Nothing like that game has ever appeared elsewhere in the series. It seems like Termina and Majora exist just to blaspheme the Triforce and it's goddesses.

He died in the first game and A Link to the Past as well.

Yeah, but no one's exactly sure where they fit in the timeline... But propably betwen OoT and TP somewhere.

Hm..

He should return as Meta-Ganon.

I don't think that Ganon will make an appearance in Skyward Sword just because that this game is set to take place before OOT. This means it could give Vaati a build up that leads into Minish Cap possibly. The possibilities are endless at this stage.
