This is the way the world ends; not with a bang but a whimper.

Gah, that first timeline disappeared! Could someone upload it? |

Has anyone else pre-ordered it? I'm enthralled for it to be released. Also, in case no else has brought this up, the original Hyrule Historia (In Japanese) is also available for purchase via Amazon. I need to get my hands on that next time I have an extra $86 dollars or so lying around. Here's the links in case anyone wanted to pre-order/buy the Hyrule Historia books on Amazon. Ah, thanks for linking those! I should've done so in my last post but I was on my phone, and I remember being particularly lazy when I posted. I guess I never went back to edit it, haha. Woops. ![]() I'm undecided about pre-ordering at the moment, but I know for sure that I definitely want to own a copy. Maybe once I have more money I'll place a pre-order! Considering I'm majoring in game art and design, I think this book will prove to be very useful with regards to learning about concept sheet layout and development. |

Of course, it was no problem. Ahaha, the perks of having internet on a phone, right? ![]() Really, a game art and designer? That seems like a riveting career to pursue. I want to become a graphic designer myself. By any chance are you attending one of the many Art Institutes? It's a must for me. I intend on one day owning the most extensive Zelda collection. The only problem is I don't think they withdraw the money right away but rather when it ships. Hopefully I have the set amount they charge in my bank account and haven't used it all on random bids on ebay. XD |

Well, I live in Scotland so I'm attending Glasgow Caledonian University, so it's not exactly an art institute. Just more of a university which provides many courses. ![]() But yeah, it's definitely going to be a lot of fun once I'm through first year. You wouldn't even need to attend a university if you wanted to "study" game design, as most game designers are self-taught anyway. It'd probably be much more enjoyable to learn on your own, too! But anyway, I should probably get back on-topic, haha. It definitely sounds like an item that any Zelda collector should own. I'm looking forward to reading more about the timeline, absolutely. Unfortunately money is a bit of an issue here too; I've just had to order myself a laptop due to my family screwing around with this poor, ancient computer.

Ahh, yes. I'm American and it seems like in just about every major city we have an Art Institute. Hopefully I'll be able to attend one soon. It probably would be. I admire and aspire the D.I.Y approach. I usually try to tackle all of the activities I pursue with that type of mindset but I'm not always successful. Yes, lets get back on topic before the mods zap us for being off-topic XD Money, money, money. When you have it, it disappears all too quickly, and when you don't it's hard to come by, at least for me anyways. As for myself I think I'm going to go try and win the lottery. Lets see how that works. Ehh, computer problems are all too common in my household as well, what with having 3 younger siblings plus my parentals. I concur with your statement though. Reading up more on the timeline and the different eras throughout the Zelda series sounds all too riveting. |
