http://www.shacknews.com/article/70191/zelda-skyward-sword-features-item-upgrades-detailed Seems like Zelda is taking notes from some of the games of today. You'll be able to upgrade your various weapons by collecting the right spoils from baddies and then taking them to a blacksmith to get a shield upgrade. The article also mentions that Skyward Sword may also possibly the longest Zelda, clocking in at 50 hours. Sounds reasonable... if you plan to collect everything. I expect going through story mode with no sidequests will take maybe 12-15 hours at the most. |

You monster.

That's certainly new for a Zelda game. Skyward Sword's turning out pretty good so far. I might have to start keeping up with it in the future. |

I'm curious to know what we can upgrade our weapons into honestly. Will there just be damage differences or will each upgrade have some added effect? SS is looking really good so far nevertheless and I even read that there will be a sort of second quest that will double the replay ability. |
