I don't know, both games are exceptional in some areas. I think that Majora's Mask has better character development, but Ocarina of Time has better dungeons and boss fights. They're also more numerous, of course, so Ocarina has Majora beat in terms of scope, in my opinion. But the added depths of the masks in Majora gives it another dimension that Ocarina doesn't have. So, it's a close tie in my book, one that I'm not willing to cast judgment on either, seeing as how I'll probably regret it later. |

Hmm...hard question. If I had to choose, I would choose Majora's Mask. Nothing against Ocarina of Time, but I found MM's darker story more enjoyable. |

I have not seen much of Majora's Mask, but based on what I HAVE seen, it looks like there's a lot of back-tracking. I've played Ocarina of Time a lot more, so that one takes the cake for me. |

DID SOMEONE SAY META GAME???

As a game, OoT wins. However, MM isn't to be sneezed at. It's atmosphere, music, and even some of the friendly NPC's are surreal or freaky (I'm looking at you, Gibdo-Man). I love how MM even made a hostile world; whereas everything was friendly and all races were welcoming in OoT, MM showed a town which contained brutal criminals, racist boyscouts, a violent race of dekus, a suffering race of Gorons, Zoras who were terrorized by pirates and lived in a frightening enviornment, and multiple families under siege by the undead. It's even implied that it is the greedy rivals to Romani Ranch were responsible for sending ghosts to kidnap not only the cows of Romani Ranch, but a young girl from the farm as well. You don't get much more sinister than that. But OoT had a much more interesting enviornment. The temples were all satisfying, and every town felt like the race they held belonged there. Also, the music in OoT puts all but the Stonetower Temple and Deku Palace themes from MM to shame. So in my book, it's a OoT win. However, MM isn't to be missed. |

I've only played a little bit of them both, but Majora's Mask was stupid with that 3 days thing, so I'll vote for Ocarina of Time. |

Ocarina of Time, though I haven't had adequate amounts of time spent with Majora's Mask yet. |

I've replayed OoT so many times... Ah, good memories.. lots of 'em. MM was good, just not better, too complicated for some players and too... the three days thing was a clincher for many, had it not been for that, my mother and sister probably would've played it more. That and the two save files. The hell, just 2? Everyone I've known to own a copy hates that bit because there's always more then two people who wanna use -your- copy and you know it's either your save or your sibling's. |

Ive been in so many arguments over this that one day, I decided to just sit down and replay both of them in one weekend. Now I kinda think of them as equals, but in my heart I know Oot is "better." |

OOT. It felt more like a Zelda game. It had Zelda and Ganon in it. Majora's Mask was set in a far off land, and didn't really feel like a Zelda game. |
