I thought up another thing to rank the Temples on... DUNGEON ITEMS This will be quick. 1 - Hover Boots: As much as I hate putting Shadow 1st again the hover boots are pretty awesome. After a thrilling rematch with Dead Hand, you get these wondeful footwear that can get you across the endless pits and other holes (short time only). Imagine having these things in real life. Hoo boy, fun fun fun.2 - Long Shot: A vast improvement over the hookshot, you'll be flying around everywhere, looking onto walls and statues! A fun little toy that would totally kick butt if you had it in real life...3 - and Mirror Shield: While the way it reflects light is somewhat unrealistic, it's still a very nice item and it seems to always stay shiny, no matter how many enemies you throw at it. Would sell for tons on Ebay.4 - Hook Shot: See Long Shot, but with less reach.5 - Bow and Arrow: While getting a bow and arrow is very nice, everyone has one nowadays, and probably in better shape than the Forest Temple's Bow. But it is the "Hero's Bow" and you can get Fire, Light and Ice upgrades.6 - Light Arrows: I KNOW that you don't ever enter the temple of light, but if you went in there, you'd most likely find these as the dungeon item. They are arrows imbued with Light. What's not to like? Fairly useless unless you have a bow, and even then, it probably only hurts if you are pure evil. >=37 - Megaton Hammer: It's old, it's rusty, and I could buy one at my local Hardware store. Neko, next time don't be so lazy and give us something a little more useful than a Dark Link killer D=<

I'd rank Wind Waker's Mirror Shield above OoT's. Oh! I have an idea for a ranking! Coming soon: Bosses you'd keep as pets. Edited by CopShadowGuy, Sep 17 2009, 08:58 PM.

Damn, I can see my temple being last place. I mean, who wants a floating eyeball in Jello as a pet?

Everyone loves animals (may not be true). These temples all have plenty of wonderful creatures that could be cared for and, dare I say, loved? Here's another list! Bosses You'd Want as a Pet: #1. Fire Temple - Let's face it. Who wouldn't want a fire breathing dragon? Volvagia is the hottest possible pet wanted in Hyrule! The problems you'd have with it is feeding it mostly. It seems to like to eat Gorons. And where can you even buy those (legally)?#2. Wind Temple - Sorta like a dragon, Molgera would be the perfect pet for those of you who don't want people on your lawn...or for people who don't want a lawn. This one, while not as cool as a dragon, certainly is a less picky eater compared to Volvagia. Molgera will eat anything.#3. Shadow Temple - Bongo Bongo really is a loveable creature. Just look into his adorable eye and let him hug you with his huge hands. Your heart'll melt every time. A bonus is that Bongo Bongo is quite talented with music and doesn't eat in the conventional way. Problem with this one is that he hates sunlight, so he's really an indoor pet...and a messy one at that.#4. Earth Temple - Jalhalla would make a pretty cool pet, given that you can touch it. It looks so squishy and soft and makes such funny noises. Very huggable and loveable! However, as a pro and a con, it can split into many many smaller ghosts of equal squishyness. Problem is that they are all mischievous and will mess your home up.#5. Water Temple - Waterfox, you are wrong. Morpha would make a pretty good pet! So long as you have a water tank big enough to hold it, Morpha would be very entertaining. You could play catch with its amoeba and teach it plenty of tricks. I bet it could form its self into plenty of shapes. What do you feed that thing anyway? Fish food?#6. Forest Temple - Who wouldn't want their own Phantom Ganon to do stuff for them? The huge drawbacks to Phantom Ganon is that he lives inside pictures that you apparently can't go inside. So he's in charge of when he wants to see you pretty much, and let's face it...he looks like he doesn't care about you or your life.#7. Light Temple - #8. Spirit Temple - Who wants a cranky old lady (or 2?) living with them that constantly burns/freezes your stuff? Twinrova is also a mind scrambler...so you wouldn't so much keep her as she would keep you.

I just used whatever the enemies dropped in Windwaker. The giant sword that the knights dropped as well as Phantom Ganon's sword were my favourite. |

That's not fair! My temple doesn't have a boss or item! |

I think a giant firefly would be a good boss for a Light Dungeon. Yes, I know, firefly for those whelps that would have pointed it out if I didn't post this message, but they aren't related to fire in anyway... |

Or, he could just settle. Think about it... The boss monsters tend to be really large. Imagine how much they would eat, and subsequently poop. Do you want to have to provide the vast amounts of food required? Do you want to clean the vast amounts of poop that would inevitably ensue? Also, that large boss monster has needs, wants, desires. Are you able to fulfill those? Say he needs a new toy? Just what exactly do you buy a colossal cockroach, or whatever the bosses are? What do you get him for a treat? Ice cream? I doubt it. Even big monsters need love. Do you think you can provide that love? What if the giant monster wants to take that love to the next level... are you ready for that? Mentally? PHYSICALLY? Think about that, Aco. I think you're WAY better off without a boss monster. |
