The first one made sense, but the second one I kind of disagree on. Maybe it's just more subjective? But anyway, you seem to be forgetting Spirit Temple is in the middle of a massive desert, where your only apparent "options" are either unbearable heat or a huge sandstorm. |

You can't get into any of the temples for various reasons. I'm overlooking all of those reasons: Forest: You'd get lost before getting there. Fire: Gorons won't let you in. Water: Bottom of a lake. Spirit: Haunted Wasteland. Shadow: Light a billion torches simultaneously first. Wind: Gale force winds blowing from the entrance (need Makar as well). Earth: Huge rock blocking the entrance (need Medili as well). And I'm sorry you don't have an official temple that Link gets to have fun adventures in, Acolyte |

Don't remind me of the lack of fun adventures from Link in my temple! *sobs* I'm recovering from the lack of fun spelunking! In other news, A hurricane prevents access into the wind temple temporarily. |

Haha, saying the Fire Temple is surprisingly wheel chair accessible made me laugh. It's like a 200 foot drop for a handicapped person to get in! |

I thought that too, but I realized after a 200 foot jump, anyone would be in a wheelchair. So it is very accessible to newly-handicapped people. |

Temple Ranking: Tourist Attraction! Occasionally the temples get a bit of tourism. Not our biggest earner, but hey, we make a bit of cash. The temples will be ranked on the location, impressiveness and how good the pictures would look when you threw them together into a slideshow. Note when tourists do come in, they are protected from enemies and potential hazards such as lava, endless pits and creepy music. 1) Shadow Temple Not only is it a 30 second walk from the center of town, it's also easily accessible if somebody decided to put a ladder to the entrance. Ignoring the fact that the entrance also has tons of torches that need to be lit to enter (The guide is expected light these) once you enter you'll be able to see that this place has history, the blood on the wall(s) and large number of people executed here is worth a few pictures. You'll be able to impress tourists by giving them a One-Time use, prepackaged lens of truth so they can see things they would not normally see. Finally, you can check out a Bongo Bongo in it's natural habitat. The Shadow Temple gains the most tourists, but it is not recommended for anyone under the age of 10.2) Forest Temple Once a grand mansion, the place was long ago deserted. However, it still remains a nice tourist attraction. To keep guests from freaking out, they unplug the jukebox that plays the creepy music. The Forest Temple has a wonderful courtyard that is well kept, aside from the vines. The paintings in some of the rooms will make any artist or sophisticated tourist squeel with joy. And you can also warp some of the hallways so it looks like you are walking upside down! This is one of the Temples most popular attractions. And you even get some entertainment from the 4 ghosts that loom around. The only downside is that this place is well out of reach and very difficult to access, but the Temple provides shuttles with their many tourist packages.3) Water Temple At the bottom of Lake Hylia is the Water Temple, another tourist attraction for those itching to check out a well structured facility. Lake Hylia is already famed for being a wonderful tourist location, with a fishing hole and an all-inclusive resort (soon to be built!). While most of the tour takes place in a submarine *Due to the fact of the Water Temple being, well, underwater*. The underground river is a great place for river rafting. And in the misty room, you can get to meet the legendary Dark Link, who signs autographs every Thursday and Sunday (Don't come wearing a Link costume though!). The Water Temple is surely a great tourist attraction for those who prefer a more mystical, yet actiony attraction.4) Fire Temple The Gorons aren't really too cheerful to let tourists into their home, so tourists need to take the other entrance at the top of Death Mountain. The tourists must wear a heat-repelling suit so the tourist agency avoid a lawsuit due to melting and burns. However, once you are inside the temple, it isn't so bad. The jukebox plays an eerie chanting tune which many tourists love, but the jukebox is unplugged when the yearly inspector (a devoted Muslim) comes and checks to see if the place is in tip-top shape. While there isn't too much to see here, you can check out the cells, where victims used to be kept, but are now sometimes inhabited by Gorons. You can also lava surf, if you are brave enough. And if you can get into the deepest depths of the temple, you can bring back some very nice pictures to show at your yearly family get-together.5) Spirit Temple This temple rarely sees many tourists due to it's location, which requires you to pass through the Gerudo Fortress, a Haunted Wasteland and a Hot Hot Desert. Not to mention half the temple is blocked off, which means only kids can access part of the temple. Unfortunately, since the tourist agency cannot hire a midget to take the kids on a tour, that part of the temple is blocked off. HOWEVER, the ancient statues are worth a look, as well as the view you can get when you reach the top. Overall, not the best place to go on your vacation, but still a must see if you have the money (The cost is very high!)6) Wind Temple Recently opened up, the Wind Temple is still new and needs some renovations done. However, folks from the nearby Windfall Island like to take a look at this place. Unfortunately, there is not much to see here. Tourist Guides rarely take visitors to the boss room, which is the most un-windish room ever. Make sure you get a picture of the giant fan at the bottom of the main room, though! They say it's the 3rd biggest fan in the world!7) Earth Temple Averaging 4 tourists a year, the place is not well kept. Dusty, dark, gloomy, and in a terrible location (closest civilization is Outset Island). They are talking about closing it down to tourists. Maybe it's for the best... anyways, if you do visit, you can check out the giant face-thing in the "main" room, and if you dare travel deeper into the temple, you can explore the room with the ancient mirrors. Overall, not a very good place to check out.8) Light Temple Closed to tourists. And even if it was open, tourists would need the 3 spiritual stones, and be old and worthy enough to pull the Master Sword from it's pedestal. Also, I hear the Sage doesn't like "mortals" wandering his temple anyways. In the meantime, you'll just need to settle for the small replica in Ganon's Castle.Well, I hope that one day, you and your family all decide to take a visit to one of these scenic locations! This is the Hyrule Traveling Agency, out. PS: Visit the Water Temple. |

Rock and roll! Shadow Temple is #1 ![]() I'd love to tour the Spirit Temple. It has that Indiana Jonesy feel to it. Plus with all the women that live around it in that hot hot hot weather... *drools* Another category. Children are our future. How well would our future hold if it were inside one of these temples though? Child Safety: #1. Forest Temple - Not much to harm a kid around here. A bunch of trees for climbing and then there are the ghosts. Only kids can solve the mysteries behind the ghosts. It's their thing, it's what they do. I wonder how many kids would bother going up to the top floor to view the gallery?#2. Earth Temple - Once again. Nothing really dangerous around here plus ghosts. Even though there are fewer places to climb in this temple, thus being safer, there is all that purple fog and that can't be good for children.#3. Spirit Temple - Same as the above two. Ghosts and spirits make this place pretty safe. However, this temple has more "physical" ghosts than the other two. As in ghosts who possess solid objects. This temple also has a bunch of sharp objects and rail-less pits. The other reason this sits at No. 3 is because half of this temple was made for children!#4. Light Temple - Most of this temple is "do not touch." I'm pretty sure there is a "Stay off the Grass" sign out front even. So if a kid got in here, it would break everything in sight! Then the kid would get in much trouble!#5. Shadow Temple - Most of the creatures in this temple hate adults. Kids are OK in their book though so kids can wander around pretty safe. However, there are a lot of falls and "sorta" sharp objects that they could get hurt on. The cuts would be pretty dull though, and after a few days, they'd just heal up and walk it off.#6 Wind Temple - Lots of fans and high places to scale to, but no padding. Those fans are a danger in of themselves. Plus all that grass has to have some nasty bugs in there.#7. Water Temple - It takes only about 2 inches of standing water for a child to drown in a body of water. This temple has...a lot of it. Unless those kids have floaties, they're in super trouble here. Not to mention that bully Dark Link who hangs out around here.#8. Fire Temple - NO! Hot!!!![]() *finished* Edited by CopShadowGuy, Sep 2 2009, 05:45 PM.
