Like that wouldn't destroy the series. More than one playable character is what's needed. Maybe transformation masks again? But no, what would be better is different fighters with different stories and motivation. |

Why I think that's a good idea, Vaxis, I don't think the public would respond well to that. At first, at least; it could be the next Wind Waker thing. :/ I'd be more comfortable with masks, though.

No one wants another Wind Waker thing. It would sell well only because it would still be Zelda. It would be best-selling game of the year if it was something that wasn't doen before with the series. Nothing radical, just realistic. Sometimes I think other companies could've done it better. Nintendo is slipping. |

A female who looks like Link would be fine, but actually having Link depicted as a female would be awful. |

It would be. I was just pointing out that it's not entirely impossible. |

I could see some people seeing the new Zelda game on the shelves, they buy it, and they boot up the game to see a female Link. They'd be like, "WTF?!"

I'd welcome a new main character myself, but we all know that fanboys and most other people would complain about such a change. But it'd really attract alot of attention and maybe boost the interest of the game up if Link was a new character/different gender. I might be wrong, but I feel like the next game is going to be a TP v.2 and OoT v.3. If that happens then that is the last Zelda I will ever buy. |

DID SOMEONE SAY META GAME???

I think we should have a spin-off which is a prequel to OoT. You could play as a young Ganondorf growing up in the Gerudo valley, and his life as a thief. I could see them adding more violence to a game based on Ganondorf. |

I don't know. I don't think there's much to the OoT's Ganondorf's past. He just grew up as the king of the Gerudo thieves as their only male, and I think he was supposedly loyal to the king for the most part. That is to say, he was loyal up until he betrayed the king and took over Hyrule. |

Yes, but he grew up in the Gerudo Valley. We're talking the desert, monsters, all this shit that would make for a pretty cool adventure or to, even if it doesn't pertain to the events of OoT other than being Ganondorf. |

Giant green things eating people, melting wizards, bringing light into lairs.... it's a wonder that the CD-i games didn't even get an AO rating. |

It will never happen, I'm sure. Knowing Nintendo, who barely even makes M-rated games at all. I would be willing to bet such a game would not be a financial success, just like an M-rated Pokémon game would not be (that would be a disaster to an even greater extent.) I doubt it will happen, as the series has never seen anything like it. If it did happen, I have no clue if I would get it or not, it just depends on if it'd be any good. |

Well, it's not as though the Legend of Zelda games have all been geared towards younger audiences. I really don't think that it would be a major step up to add some gore in the next Zelda game. Twilight Princess had a rating of T, so why not bump it up a notch? They should make a Zelda game for the older, more mature audiences. A nice M rating wouldn't hurt, so long as nothing really hindered the basic Zelda feel. |
