The MSV Maverick made contact with the docking port on the Zerka Ward of the Citadel. Jack stretched in the pilot’s seat and yawned. The actual distance between the Citadel and Bekenstein was short but it was still a long boring trip for Jack. During the trip he tinkered with the VI he had downloaded from the broken down shuttle at the Donovan Estate. It was used for navigation and filtering sensor data but not much else. It didn’t even have a holographic avatar, just a very basic voice program. He hoped to adapt the program for the Maverick, he just needed to find someone with the technical expertise to do so. He had plenty of goods now to trade for services. He made a note on his omni-tool to check out the King of Red Lions crew. They seemed to be a capable bunch, and he guessed they would be in the market for what Jack had in his cargo holds. Jack activated the ships intercom. “Attention all hands. We have now docked at the citadel. Airlock is pressurizing at the moment and I’m conducting power down procedures. Primary power will be offline in the next five minutes.” Sarfan looked up at the speaker and listened to Jack’s announcement then dropped his datapad and started walking towards the cockpit. He’d spent the whole trip cataloging the inventory of what they had picked up. He wasn’t even half way done yet. He was making two lists, the stuf they were going to sell or trade and the stuff they were going to keep. |

Nadia had taken a nap in the cargo hold, resting her head on some ammo packs. She felt the vibration when they arrived at the docks, and woke up somewhat groggily. Her fingers reached down her midsection, brushing the portion of her armor that had been blasted away earlier. "Nadia, you're a fucking disaster.." She told herself, as she rolled over, and picked herself up. She picked up a single assault rifle from the weapon shipment and put it on her back. There was absolutely no way she was wondering around on a foreign station without a gun; not after the day she had. Nadia finally made her own way to the cockpit as well, finding Jack and Sar as she did so. She rubbed her eyes, not liking the light one little bit. The Tritonian Teenager eyed them both, and shrugged. "I guess this is the citadel then?" She asked. "Is there anything I should know? Are...uh...aliens, friendly?" She asked, more specifically Sar. |

As the ship began to power down it's systems, only the secondary systems remained active. The cockpit intruments shut off and Jack unbuckled himself from the flight chair. "Not with that *breath* logo out in the open." Sarfan said, pointing to the Cerberus white, black and yellow logo on her clothing. Jack nodded after running a hand through his hair and stretching his neck out. "He's right. You'll be lucky to not get shot on sight as you walk off the gangway." Jack thought for a minute and then pointed to the rear of the ship. "Come on, i think we have some coveralls in the supply locker you can have." He said and started walking out of the cockpit. "I'll get us gassed *breath* up." Sarfan said. Jack gave him a thumbs up and kept on walking. |

Nadia nodded. "Yeah, after living in a Cerberus base for seventeen years, I never predicted they'd turn out to be such bastards... being frozen solid isn't as fun as it sounds..." She grumbled. She followed Jack to the locker in question, and opened it up. After she put the coveralls on, it was very apparent that she was still going to stick out like a sore thumb. "I think I might need to get these hemmed." She joked, her head poking out of the top of them. The arms were too long, and the legs were ridiculously baggy, only held up by her combat boots. She didn't look like Cerberus anymore, but she looked way too cute and out of place to be a dock worker or mechanic. People were going to stare and probably ask. Underneath she still had on her light armor, which would provide some defense still. "Do you have any suggestions? I've never been away from the company before, and I've certainly never been on a cosmopolitan station such as the citadel..." She said with a shrug. "It's like, when you see those vids, movies, of kids trapped at airports they aren't familiar with. I have no idea what I'm doing..." |

Jack reached into his pocket and pulled out a 50 credit chit and held it out to the girl. "Here's 50 Credits, enough to buy some new clothes at one of the ward shops around here. There are Avina terminals all over the citadel. Avina is an AI, she'll be able to point you wherever you want to go." Jack said. He started to walk towards the airlock where the gangway was sliding into place and locking down. "I suggest you go to C-Sec first and talk to someone there. Turning in your dad might be harder than you realize though so if you don't go through with it, there are plenty of places to get jobs around the Citadel. I'm not sure how long we'll be docked here, but if you need to talk to me or Sar, look us up in the docking bay registry. If we're still docked, give us a call." The airlock made a hissing noise as the pressure between the ship and the citadel stabilized and the door opened. The long gangway from the ship to the citadel was before them. "We're at docking bay 94A. If you get lost, just ask Avina how to get back to docking bay 94A." |

She wanted to refuse the credits, but her stomach growled and she realized she was going to need them. She could probably get money pretty easily if she found a way to hack into her Cerberus bank account, but for now, she was pretty much a street kid. And the citadel wasn't a cheap place to live. "Thank you guys. Thank you so much...I'm sorry for shooting at you with the darts. And...I've stayed too long..." She said, turning as though she were going to leave. Her hand tensed up, and she turned around, crouching in front of Sar. "And, I'm sorry for what my father said about you and the Volus... If we all survive this war, I will treat you both to dinner. I'd offer drinks, but I'm underage..." She said with a shrug. As she wondered down the dock toward customs, she turned and waved to them. |

"I don't need apologies from you *breath* for your father. If i see him *breath* again i'll shove his face through his *breath* rectum." Sarfan said. Jack shrugged. "We won't tell if you won't tell. I started drinking at 12 just to piss my dad off." He said. As they stepped off onto the Citadel, the place was a lot busier than usual. The docking area was packed with refugees. people trying to find families, people trying to get off the citadel and people wandering around not knowing what to do. The fact that a lot of them were human hit Jack. "Good luck out there kid. Look us up if you ever see the Maverick in town. We're good for a free meal once and a while." |

A smile formed as they saw her off, though as she left the area it became a fragile smile. Looking around, she saw so many species - some kind of four-eyed one. A giant jellyfish, and blue people with tentacles on their heads. The four-eyed creature glared at her as she walked by, and she flinched defensively. "Keep moving human, unless you want to end up like him..." The batarian growled, pointing to another Batarian on a stretcher. "P-please sir...I don't know what I did to offend..." She said. "Idiot...no one's that ignorant..." he growled, giving her a strong shove. "This one implores the batarian stop attacking the human child." The Hanar insisted. "Or what, jelly? You going to squirt ink at me?" he asked it. "This one just might if you don't shut the fuck up..." It told him, agitatedly. The Batarian growled, and punched the pink jelly, knocking it over. It seemed his attention was away from Nadia now. "I'm sorry..." She whispered, as she fled the scene. She was visibly upset now, walking past refugee after refugee in her humongous coveralls. Not one person neglected a curious glance at her. |

C-Sec officer Carter approached the conflict. The human officer had been on the Citadel for 10 years now, a member of C-sec for 7 of them. He couldn't get out of the docks and was always relegated to the beat cop job because he was a loose canon who didn't play by the rules. "Hey, yo. Let the girl be man. You don't got to be startin trouble like this." |

"He also took out...I think it was a Hanar? If memory serves correctly..." She said, scratching her head. "You humans are racist, if you were a Batarian or Turian on C-sec you wouldn't harass me...The humans ensured the vaporization of my people. She's a blight... and so are you..." he told the officer. "A-are you Citadel Security? I want to talk with C-Sec or the alliance, it's of urgent importance to humanity..." She whispered desperately. |
