She put her hands up to block the sunlight that poured through. Triton barely received any light at all, especially on the dark side of it's giant planet, Neptune. Being this close to a star was very unnatural for her. Her sensitive eyes were in pain, and she quickly turned completely around and activated her helmet, which had a visor on it. She turned around to test it's brightness now, and didn't find herself flinching anymore. She shrugged, now happy with the shade the helmet provided. "Is it Citadel this bright?" She asked. "Remind me to get some sunglasses..." She grumbled. She immediately started loading their cargo into the Maverick. |

"I never thought it was particularly bright there. It's all artificial lighting to me, nothing like a sun in the sky." Jack said. Sarfan climbed up onto the cargo lift and started shifting pallets of stuff into the open cargo hold. Jack helped the girl load the smaller boxes, stacking them against one wall of the cargo compartment, trying to give the aircar some space so that none of the boxes might fall and hit it. Sarfan moved the pallets out of the cargo hold using the cargo lifter and began shuffling them into the aft holds to make more room for more stuff. With the three of them working, and the help of the cargo loader, they loaded down the ship in record time. Her aft and midsection cargo holds were full of weapons, armor, military supplies, ammunition and ordinance. Enough for a small army to fight for some time. Jack wiped some sweat from his brow and sat down on one of the containers they had just loaded. "I think thats enough for now. This place still has tons of stuff to load but i don't think i have anything left in me." Sarfan climbed off the cargo loader and left it on the landing pad. As he walked up the landing pad he closed the garrage door on the cargo hold behind him, sealing the ship. Jack got up and rubbed the back of his neck. "I'll get us out of here. Sar, go ahead and start running inventory." Jack opened the cargo bay door and headed to the cockpit. From his command chair there, he locked down the engineering spaces. No need to let the girl roam the ship freely. He pulled the ship up and headed for orbit. As the ship entered outer space Jack was already busy plotting a course for the Widow system. It was a hop skip and a jump from Bekenstein so the trip would be rather short. (Mik and Roku Exit to the Citadel) Edited by mikdatv, Mar 18 2012, 06:19 PM.
