*NOTE* This will be updated shortly to reflect the new board and system. 19/01/2008 It is your responsibility to keep the information in your profile up-to-date. You should especially ensure that your email address is kept current. You can alter any of the fields in your profile, except your username. Once you have registered your username, it becomes yours for life. If for any reason you wish to change your username, you can do so by contacting any of the Admin team, giving your reason for change and also the new username you wish. To edit your profile, click “My Controls” to start then click “Edit Profile Info” which can be found in the left hand navigational bar under the section “Personal Profile”. In here you can personalise main sections of your profile that will be displayed to other members. 1.Custom Member Title – Here you have the option to enter a small sentence that will distinguish you from other users. This is optional but if you wish to change it please keep it clean! (ish). 2.Your Date Of Birth – Again this is optional but here you can enter your date of birth. If you do so that will enable everyone on the forum to wish you a Happy Birthday when the day comes around as you will be displayed on the front page. 3.Your Website URL – Here you can enter the URL to your home on the web, whether that is your personal website or a social networking website such as your MySpace of Facebook profile for example. 4.Your ICQ UIN – If you use ICQ you can enter your details here so other members can contact you via this method. 5.Your AOL Identity - If you use AOL you can enter your details here so other members can contact you via this method. 6.Your MSN Messenger Identity (Windows Live) - If you use MSN Messenger or Windows Live you can enter your details here so other members can contact you via this method. 7.Your Location – If you wish to you can enter your location on this lovely planet, a simple sentence such as London, UK will suffice. 8.Your Interests – Here you can enter a little bit about yourself to let others get an idea about you. You can enter up to 1000 characters. Avatar Settings To personalise your profile even more, it is recommended to create an avatar. An Avatar is a small image that is displayed each time you post, this image can be anything you like as long as it is clean and non offensive. A lot of our users tend to have an image of their favourite tennis player as their Avatar, we are a tennis forum after all! To change your Avatar, click “My Controls” to start then click “Edit Avatar Settings” which can be found in the left hand navigational bar under the section “Personal Profile”. The image must be in one of the following file formats: JPEG; JPG; PNG; BMP or GIF. The dimensions of the image must be no bigger than 140 x 140 pixels. If it is bigger then it may still be displayed but will be automatically re-sized but may not look as it should. Probably the easiest way to have an avatar is to upload the image of your choice to a free image hosting site such as Imageshack. Once you have uploaded your file to the site you will be given a URL which will look something like this; http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/4142/image8.jpg Copy this URL and paste it into the box in “Your Controls” next to text “Enter a URL to an online avatar image” then click “Update Avatar” and your Avatar should now be set.
