Head Captain: Water Country
|
I talked this over with Nin, and we both feel that Suri will be a good character to help advance plot in the Mist![]() < Character Info > Theme song one - I like this one. ![]() Theme song two - I don't know why, but the dark nature of this song fits. Theme song three - I was listening to this when I first designed Suri Name: Bouchouzuii, Suri Age: 28 Gender: Male Height: 6'2” Weight: 189,lbs Eyes: Pale emerald color Hair: Long golden hair. Appearance: I know it isn't like me, but I'm too lazy to try drawing him. Instead I'm going to use pictures of Bonten from Amatsuki. ![]() Picture 1 Picture 2 Spoiler: click to toggle Suri is a true wonder to behold. He is not a massive person, he does not have a body rippling in muscles, he does not give off the feeling of power. No, but he does give off the feeling of a bird, free to fly where it wishes and never held back. He is a bit strange in his look, so it isn't uncommon to see a few heads turn when he goes by. Standing just a little over six feet, and holding himself in a flamboyant and care free manner. He has the ability to intrigue, from his voice and features, right down to his body language. Suri's eyes often draw a bit of attention once someone takes the time to look. They do not shine, and they do not have some kind of mystic light. No, rather they are unexpectedly dull. Like a mirror that has been fogged up. They have a certain childish curiosity in them, thickly layered behind an almost devilish intellect and mischievous twinkle. When he sees something interesting his eyes can take on a bird-like quality as well. Similar to a hawk... a hawk that has spotted its next prey. Suri hair is a natural light blond color. He parts his hair at the side, usually covering up an eye or almost doing so. He tries to frame his face with his bangs, and lets his long hair fall straight down... on one side. The other side he normally ties back or combs in a way so that it can fall straight back with the rest of his hair (That is to say, on one side, while being pulled back on the other.). Despite Suri's frail figure, his back, upper arms, and legs are an almost brutal series of cuts and scars. Some are deep, others just deep enough to leave marks. Signs of whips, knives, needles, burns, stones... an innumerable count of tools used to poke and prod at his body, testing its limits. Often this are hidden by minor genjutsu. Suri's skin is naturally soft and smooth, but directly beneath his skin are surprisingly well developed muscles. If someone didn't know better they would assume that Suri spends several hours each day training in martial arts or some other discipline that breeds strength. Well this is both true and false. Suri has no real interest in taijutsu or fighting, and thus makes no effort to train in real hand to hand combat. Suri does however, have an interest in acrobatics. He enjoys the free feeling of flips, twirls, and somersaults through the air and even short distance above the ground. Because of this he has trained his body to be both strong and flexible, practicing to move with grace. If it came down to it he could probably prove to be an interesting hand to hand fighter, albeit an unorthodox one. Despite the scars and cuts over his body, his face, stomach, and forearms are free of the more noticeable marks. Though a few can be found if searched for, giving the impression that someone wished to hide these scars. Suri is capable of a wide range of expressions, childish wonder or surprise, cunning smirks, disapproving sneers, cocky grins, and almost (for lack of a better word) venomous smiles. He has a wide mouth, giving him a toothy smile sometimes. Suri can often control his emotions quite well, making it difficult to read what he is thinking. Though in truth at other times his expressions give away his thoughts with ease. Suri does wear jewelry normally. He has several piercings in his left ear, should he feel like wearing an earring or anything, and a long earring with a chain that connects to his lower lip. Something that should be noted are the veins in Suri's right arm, most notable of which are located near the middle of his arm. Unlike most veins that are green-ish in tint, Suri's have a clear black hue to them. When picking out his clothes, Suri likes to pic a simplistic and yet interesting style. Something that might not be seen very often but still fine to wear about. He likes to wear something thin around the torso, comfortable but protective. Similar to an ANBU flak jacket. Over this he generally wears one or two kimonos, yes two kimonos sometimes. These are never tied up of course, instead he wears them like coats or caps, flowing around him. He wears long baggy pants that are cut short and tied down with bandages leading down to his ankle. Finally a pair of black shoes that are comfortable and offer just enough traction to run, but still let him slide when he so desires (Because he enjoys sliding). He also carries around to large pouches of tools, each attached to a belts that crisscross around his waist. These do not look much like ninja tool pouches, as they do messenger bags. They also have a small belt attached to the lower part of the bag so that they can be fastened to his legs as well, just to be sure that nothing falls out or hits someone when he moving about. Of course this isn't all Suri wears, he has a nice selection of outfits, from festival yakutas, suits, everyday clothes, and various costumes. Why costumes? Well simply put Suri is a circus performer, among other things. He is know to wear face paint for his acts and then forget to wash it off later. The most commen being a slit over his eye or eyes. He also likes to wear wooden sandals. Any other outfits will be described in the thread they are worn in. Personality: Spoiler: click to toggle The wonderful, beautiful, amazing, astounding, and modest Suri can only be described in the most magnificent of ways... by himself. His wonderfully clever mind having nothing but absolute praise for his actions, appearance, talents, and just about everything else that concerns him. He does not confess to being perfect, but he does like to remind people that he is about as close as anyone could get without trying. Suri's confidence in himself does not mean he is arrogant... well, not overly arrogant. He understands that he is human and thus flawed and is capable of making mistakes. Luckily for him, he is more than impressed enough with himself to overlook such minor details. Suri is also a people person, he enjoys the company of others and likes to talk to almost anyone and everyone no matter the conversation. Suri is very clever, and it is a shame that so much of his brilliant thoughts dwell on pointless little things. If he was not already a shinobi, it would not be a long road until he could become an accomplished philosopher or something of that sort. On rare occasion Suri has been known to focus his mental efforts on the deeper mysteries of the universe and come up with some surprising and unique answers to questions no one asked. He likes the beauty in the world, the rich colors of nature, the brilliant shine of a jewel, the soft touch of a woman's skin. All the pleasures in life. In fact, if could be said that Suri lives for pleasure. But not all pleasure is found in the beauty of things. No, according to Suri's way of life: Beauty is found in curiosity. When seen through curious eyes, anything can become beautiful for a time. To be curious is to have individuality, to be an individual is to be unique, and if you are you unique then you are curious to Suri, which makes you beautiful. Suri wishes to understand the hearts and minds of people, unfortunately he has an equally strong desire to toy with the hearts and minds of people. To see how far something can twist, how the mind can interpret and how a small bit of influence can change a person. Suri's curiosity on this matter can almost seem cruel, as he plays with people's lives. At this point it should be mentioned that Suri is in possession of a unique set of "skills". The most interesting of which is the ability to 'devour' chakra from other people. Though he is not actually eating another person's chakra, the ability does provide him with a type of 'taste'. Something that cannot be described through the simplistic means we use for foods. A person's chakra is influenced by their emotions, and so is the taste of their chakra. This is just one more reason that Suri enjoys manipulating people's emotions. Changing the way someone thinks can make the taste of their chakra divine or disgusting. Interestingly enough, using a genjutsu to instantly change someone's attitude will often give his meals a bland or generic taste, though using such tactics to subtly alter someone does not seem to have such a side effect. When devouring a person's chakra he must be very close to that person. Because of this, he normally targets women. If he must stand close to a person while devouring their chakra, it might as well be an attractive woman. Not to mention the fact that women's emotions are generally more entertaining for him to toy with. Though he does like to focus on women to survive, as he cannot produce his own chakra, he obviously has other needs that women can fulfill. The scent or a woman, the feel of their skin, soft whispers of their voice in the night... and finally that wonderful taste of their chakra when they experience love and betrayal at once. Suri is a man born to survive, and almost everything he does he does for himself. This is how he lives and how he expects everyone to live, and to kill another so that you survive just means that your desire to survive was greater than their very existence. Suri has a love for dramatics, amazing displaces of emotion, and complicated plots. He is something of a romantic, and if he didn't have a need to kill his victims by devouring their chakra then many would just suffer from broken hearts and twisted emotions. He likes to make people see him, to make people adore him, and to make people envious of him. It is very common for him to use simple genjutsu to make himself stand out and make others see him as he normally sees himself. Every conversation, every meeting, and every thought that follows the first greeting is like a game. The goal is to control the flow, what is said next and to eventually maneuver the game to the predicted ending that Suri desires. Though Suri's love for drama means that it isn't always about the direct path to victory. Why bother showing someone the door when you can turn the lights off and then have them fumble through the darkness following little hints and clues laid out for them until they find Suri's desired ending on their own. He likes for people to be put on the edge, making an important decision that they have trouble deciding on their own. Then as they sit on the fence he will casually move by and tap that very fence and force them over into his garden. He is the snake that offers the apple, and anything he gives comes with a price. Suri is a deadly enemy, and an even deadlier ally. He is a smooth talker, a heartless snake, and a snappy dresser. Suri is a quick witted, sharp tongued individual; easily able to confuse allies and foes with his moody personality and never ending approval of himself. History: Spoiler: click to toggle Boushouzuii, Suri's beginnings are not pleasant, nor are they by any means the start of his happy life in the arms of his loving mother and stern but fair father. Both Suri's mother and father were members of a newly formed group within the Hidden Sound village called the Ikkan. There were 18 subjects in the beginning, nine men and nine women picked out because of some physical ability or trait that would prove useful to a shinobi. The men and women were partnered up based on some kind of scientific mumbo jumbo that said they would have a strong child, and told to get busy. Several bow-chika-bow-bow's and nine child birth's later, Suri and eight other children were born. Actually ten children were born, one woman giving birth to twins. Unfortunately the budget for the project only covered the cost of nine children, so the tenth child was transferred over to a different project that studied the effects of cruel and unusual genjutsu on the mind. It is unknown what happened to the child as he grew up, suffice to say that by the age of six he was quite insane.
Suri’s first few years were spent in a totally control environment. When he slept, when he ate, what he saw, and who he interacted with was monitored and controlled. Understanding that even as infants the children would learn from who they saw and had continued interaction with, only certain individuals were allowed access. The doctors were former high ranking medical shinobi, all totally loyal to their village. Suri’s caretaker was a bit different from most of the other ones though, he was a twisted son of a bitch. Constantly mumbling about what it would be like to kill people in different ways and the kinds of terrible experiments he could do. He once spent three hours talking to a baby Suri about an experiment he had always wanted to try. Opening up a person’s skin and stretching it out so it could be nailed to a wall, all done while the victim was still alive and very much awake. He had even planned it out, his only problem being that he couldn’t provide medical care to keep the victim awake, and hammer in a nail through the stretched out skin at the same time. Of course Suri couldn’t respond, but this man seemed fine just talking to himself and assuming that Suri was very much interested in this little talk. Sometimes he even asked Suri what he would look like when he was murdered, as he assumed the child would be. By the time Suri was two, it was clear that the project was not providing the desired results. The group funding the project decided that they would stop the experiments at once and salvage what they could, which mean recycling the children into a different project. Instead of giving birth to lost bloodlines or traits, they would be experimented with giving them to already living test subjects. A simple enough plan, injecting a foreign set of DNA into a host along with a wide range of chemicals to force the body to accept the new DNA as its own and adjust itself accordingly. Though, if you haven’t guessed by now it was a very painful, dangerous, and expensive type of experiment that could only be done by the sharpest of medical minds. Taken to a large test room filled with tanks and jars of who knows what, Suri was poked and injected with all manner of needles and chemicals. Normally at least three that he could remember. One was done through the arm, it was painful and felt like ice running through his body. The next one always hurt the most, they stuck that needle into his back. Finally was the scariest one, a needle that went right into his eye, they would always tell him not to worry. After the third injection Suri was so full of drugs and chemicals that he could never remember if any other needles were shoved into him, though judging by the number of holes in his arms and legs it was likely that there were. Suri was tested with a bloodline that essentially made people into living rag dolls. The goal was for a shinobi that could never have his bones broken or his body shattered, a true warrior that could take blow after blow and continue to stand. Needless to say this was unsuccessful. Suri's bones broke just as easily as any other child. Normally the researchers would wait a week after his injections and test his body, sometimes even breaking his bones in order to test the theory. It wasn’t always that bad, normally just a finger or toe. Though once just to be sure the doctors broke his arm. He was beaten countless times to see if any of the new jutsu or serums used on him managed to change him in the desired way. I am sure some must be asking at this point, if this child was not changing in the desired way then why bother keeping him? After a while the previous experiments would begin to conflict with the new ones and the test would be ruined. Much better to just kill Suri and find a new child. Well even though Suri had not turned into a living rag doll, some other changes had began to take place. Although his body did not change, he did seem to gain one of the various abilities of the bloodline in question. Suri could painlessly remove thin in almost invisible layers from people in an instant and use his chakra to manipulate it into a completely different shape. The first time this occurred Suri was alone in his room, “playing” if you can call it that- Suri’s toys were all meant to teach him about the world, problem solving, and ninja skills. None of them were actually toys as much as they were dumbed down tests to accelerate the children’s learning- when he removed an almost invisible layer of his own skin and subconsciously shaped it into a doll. This was a very crude and simplistic toy, but it was the first toy that Suri had actually had. He hid it from the doctors whenever he could. The next time he did it was during his latest set of injections. Trying to struggle against the most feared ‘third injection’ into his eye, he accidentally removed a thin layer of skin from a doctor and turned it into a doll. This was lucky for Suri as he was soon to be scrapped without some kind of results. After much study and research, it was found to be a skill used by the bloodline Suri had been injected with countless times. With a bit of practice, strict practice where he was punished for mistakes, Suri learned to form and shape the dolls into more recognizable patterns. The skill was actually fairly simple. The dolls were studied in great length, and it was discovered that they were organic, the cloth made from a variation of skin that wouldn't rot, the accessories and buttons made from a type of bone, and the hair, clothes, and stuffing made from several different types of hair. The dolls didn't seem to expire like people did, and in every way seemed to be perfectly normal cloth dolls. By the time Suri was six he could make near perfect doll copies of people, and it was decided that he should work on the other skills used by the bloodline. The injections had stopped and instead he focused on lessons and perfecting his doll tricks, or what the people called jutsu. The bulk of his lessons were in forming the dolls as quickly as possible, and learning to manipulate them through chakra. With enough concentration Suri could even make the dolls move. ================ Suri stared at the doctor. He was a tall man, taller than most the other doctors that came help him with his training. He had on a long white coat, button at the top, with a hood falling out of a wide brim. The coat wasn’t that interesting, Suri had seen that on most of the doctors. His hair was short and brown, trimmed down almost to his skull, and his glasses were square. Suri liked his glasses, they looked different from the round ones that most the other doctors wore. But he didn’t have a smile, instead he just had a very serious frown that made Suri feel nervous. The small child sat in his chair with his feet dangling over the edge a good foot away from the floor. It was a small chair just for him and he still wasn’t big enough to properly sit in it. ”Um… sir. Can I go to the bathroom before he start please?” The doctor gave him a stern look and Suri turned away without needing to hear the answer. They always told him the same thing, if he really needed to go so bad then he could just do his training perfectly and then go relieve himself. The man held out his hand and Suri took a deep breath, taking on a much more serious face. It looked a little odd on such a young child, his unblinking eyes and intense focus. He reached out and lightly placed three fingers against the man’s palm, lifting up he could instinctively feel the skin peeling away from the doctor. The doctor felt the slightest tingle as it happened, a tingle that pulled up his entire arm for a brief second. With the other hand the doctor put down an x on the paper next to him. Suri pulled the skin toward him and looked at it, then at the man. The layer was so thin that he couldn’t even see it clearly. Then it shifted, pulling together at the tips of Suri’s tiny fingertips. It folded and turned, altering its shape as quickly as it could. It changed color and became thicker, twisting around itself as it formed a bag shape and seemed to fill itself. Looking at the man again, the shape became more human and donned garments resembling the man‘s. In a moment hair grew out and buttons seemed to actually grow where the eyes should be, odd shaped ones in rectangular pattern with a rich transparent white that would resemble the man’s glasses. Stitching formed under the eyes to make a big smile on the doll. Suri liked to give the dolls smiles. Some of the doctors would smile at Suri when he did something right, but the smile was always directed at the work and never at Suri. The dolls smiled not only at Suri, but for Suri. He really liked the dolls more than most the doctors they resembled. The doctor that this doll was fashioned after made a mark on his paper and looked over at the child. Suri placed the doll down and poked it with his index finger, focusing his chakra as hard as he could. He had done this before, he just needed to remember his lessons. It was all about extending the flow of his chakra from himself into the doll. He felt a bead of sweat drop off his face, he was scared. One time he had taken too long to put his chakra into the doll and was beaten for it. It was hard to do, but he didn’t want to get hit again. His hand trembled a little but he took a breath and calmed himself. In a moment he pulled away and the doll sat up, waving a Suri like a little person. Suri smiled and looked up at the doctor who made one last mark on his paper. Then he looked at Suri and very quickly raised his hand. In a moment he slapped the back of his hand against Suri’s face and knocked Suri off his chair and onto the floor. Suri began to cry. ”I felt it when you removed the skin. Next time make sure your target never feels so much as a tingle. Understand?” Sniffle, eh…. I- eah- yes sir.” Suri managed to say as he tried to stop himself from crying, in case he would be hit for that as well. ”Good. Now go to the bathroom.” ================ It took years for Suri to really grasp the proper way to manipulate his chakra and focus it into an object. The real struggle wasn’t a lack of skill, but an underdeveloped chakra network. He only had so much chakra to work with at such a young age, and could only manipulate so much of it at one time. Straining out too much was difficult, but not using enough resulted in punishment. He learned to use as much as necessary for the task as a way to avoid the beatings. By the time he was ten years old he could use his dolls to spy on the area around them, seeing and hearing through them. His tests for the proper usage for this skill was one of the hardest he had. Placing one of his dolls in another room he would have his normal studies while a conversation or something was done near the doll. If he didn’t pay attention to his studies he was punished, and if he couldn’t accurately tell his doctors what happened around the doll he was also punished. His punishments did not become any easier either, soon it wasn’t enough to just hit Suri. They sometimes used slow acting poisons or jolts of electricity to train him. He was scared of the doctors. It was during one of his lessons that something first began to change. He was given a very basic lesson about blending in with various environments. The doctors used genjutsu to create the needed environments, and the one Suri was blending into was a gang. While undergoing his studies he noticed a bit of the background created in the genjutsu, a family. He noticed the child a bit younger than he was. He noticed how the father held the child’s hand and laughed. The child wasn’t hit. The child wasn’t crying. Then they were both killed by some mugger. The idea was to make Suri dislike this idea of a happy life, but instead Suri became absorbed in the thought. He slowly came to the understanding that the way they treated him was wrong… cruel… inhuman. It made him sick was anger. Fear of his doctors quickly turned into hate. But there wasn’t much he could do. He was just a child, and he was at their mercy, what little of it there was. When he was eleven the took his studies toward genjutsu further, after testing him and deciding he had a natural talent for illusions. They preformed various studies and found that Suri’s dolls had a very weak connection with whoever the doll was made from. Using this connection as a path they trained Suri to cast genjutsu through his dolls. It wasn’t an easy task, and he was never allowed to cast genjutsu on the doctors, just strange men they brought in. Everyone they brought in for genjutsu testing was shackled, and it was obvious they were not willing participants. The genjutsu study seemed far more interesting than the previous tests. Nor for Suri but for his masters. Suri was selected for a very special program, along with several other children who possessed a talent for illusions. At first it just started with extensive study of the mind, personalities, people in general, and of course genjutsu. That became the focus of his training, and the desire to avoid punishment became his motivation as it had so many times before. None of this bothered Suri that much, his new lessons were a little harder but he was already considered highly intelligent and seemed to grasp it quickly enough to avoid the wrath of his instructors. The genjutsu training always seemed easier for him than anything else they had tried to get him to do. Of course he still received punishment for poor work, but over time he began to understand what was expected of him. The only thing that really got to Suri was the new line of experiments. A large room below a glass ceiling and several steel tanks covered in kanji hanging over beds lined in a circle. Suri and the other children were herded into the room and strapped down to the beds, then came the injections. One in each side of his neck, one in his arm, and worst of all one in his eye. He hated that last shot so much, it terrified him like nothing else. He would plead and beg and apologize so many times, but he wasn’t receiving it as punishment so it made no difference how hard he worked to avoid it. After the injections came some kind of medical jutsu that pulled something out of the tanks over the children and… well Suri never knew what happened after that. He could never stay conscious for too long. Suffice to say that the tanks contents were emptied into the children. It was not a pleasant process and many of the children passed out, Suri included, when it began. Four of the children died within a week of these experiments. Another three died within two months. Suri was left to his room where he suffered for what seemed like forever. He suffered high fevers, seizures, internal bleeding, and other conditions that nearly killed him on numerous occassions. He heard two more died three months after the experiment, and another one four months after that. Suri lost track of time, he didn't know how long he had been sick. His lessons continued at a slower pace, for fear that he would fail and be punished with something that would push his body over the limit and kill him. Finally his body began to slowly recover. When it seemed his health had finally improved, his lessons were sent into overdrive. All his studies became significantly harder, and the types of genjutsu he was to perform became unimaginably complex. They told Suri that when he failed it was because he wasn’t properly in touch with his chakra, and to help motivate him the would use needles to paralyze a portion of his body every time he failed. Often he was left unable to move for hours at a time until he had the slightest breakthroughs with the technique. Only then would they free up a small portion of his body, promising to do more when the technique was done even better. Once Suri tried giving up, and was left for almost a full day unable to move. They didn’t feed him, give him anything to drink, or help him go to the bathroom. Breathing was difficult, he couldn’t really move his eyes well and he thought he might actually die. He hated his doctors all the more for that, but tried even harder for fear of it. When Suri had proven capable of some very advanced techniques, he was rewarded with a new room in a new location for a new study. He was also given a history lesson. Suri learned that the chakra forced into all of the children belonged to a man who was referred to as the King of Illusions. A genjutsu master without equal, and to try and recreate his power his chakra was divided up and forced into the test subjects. Soon Suri’s real training began. Combat training. Along with the four other survivors Suri learned the true art and horror of combat. His first few exercises were done by himself against various prisoners. He was to defeat them with his genjutsu, as he didn’t really have anything else. These tests were different from before, if he failed he wouldn’t be punished. Instead his opponent would kill him, it was a real fight to the death. It hasn’t hard for Suri to take that first life, he had been raised by cruelty, and trained in an environment that supported those kinds of actions. ================ Suri took a deep breath. This was a real fight. This was a real test. If he lost it would mean really losing. Losing his life. Suri shivered, he didn’t know what to do… how was he supposed to do this!? A man was brought in, he wore a very pain set of white shorts and a white T-shirt. His arms were chained together but otherwise he seemed unrestrained. He was older than Suri… at least in his twenties. Suri tried to remember his lessons on how to judge someone, muscle formation, bone structure, stance, tone of voice. He couldn’t remember anything, he just stood still trembling. His breathing was becoming heavy. He couldn’t kill someone, he wasn’t ready. He had seen it countless times but never once saw himself doing it. The man looked at Suri and tilted his head sideways like an animal that didn’t understand something. He looked back and one of the doctors nodded at him. ”HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Perfect! I kill you and I’m outta here!” He shouted out as he began to flex and shift in a way that made Suri uncomfortable. The man ran forward at a speed much faster than young Suri expected and gave him a strong kick to the gut that knocked Suri back several feet. ”Guh!?” was all Suri could manage as he found himself doubled over in pain and rolling backwards. It hurt, but he held back the tears he felt like shedding. ”Hehehehehe, I’m not gonna kill you right away kid. They might not let me out after all, so I need to enjoy this. I’m gonna play with you a bit before I kill you… Twist your arm and snap your little bones till they are nothing but dust in your skin.” He giggled at the thought and stepped forward again, slowly moving in on Suri. Suri looked up in a strange perplexed kind of way. This guy was going to see how much it took to break Suri’s arms. See what it sounded like when Suri screamed. Experiment to find the most painful way to torture him. This sick fuck was just like those doctors. Suri glared at him as he started to stand, his rage building. The man rushed and gave Suri another kick to the side. Suri tried to grab him but only brushed against his leg before being thrown by the force of the kick He bounced once, twice, three times before sliding to a stop. ”Did that hurt kiddie?” The man stepped forward again when- ”AHHRGH!” The man dropped to one leg and clutched his leg. It throbbed and hurt, like a spike had just run through it. He looked around shocked and scared until he saw Suri. Suri lay on the ground holding a small doll that looked like the prisoner. It had the same hair style, skin color, even a pair of little chains around its hands. The black buttons for the eyes and smile stitched on its face were the only things that made the prisoner question who it resembled. Then he noticed the leg, and the needle Suri had pierced it with. Suri smiled, then twisted the needle to pull it out. The man screamed again. Suri stabbed the arm, twisted and pulled. Then the other arm, then the shoulder, the leg again, the foot, the other leg, the shoulder again, the chest, the kidney. Over and over stabbing and twisting and pulling. The man screamed again and again, and Suri smiled even wider… this man was like the doctors and he was going to pay for all the pain they had given Suri. ================ If anything else Suri found it liberating. It was a way to release all his hate and anger at his doctors without getting in trouble. He soon learned how to properly toy with people, bend their emotions bit by bit, drop them to their knees. And finally slide a cool blade across their neck. It didn’t take much time for Suri to turn very cynical and cold toward these people he was pitted against. To his surprise so had the other children. On occasion they were paired up with each other and made to work together. Suri’s main partner was an attractive young girl named Miri. Suri was thirteen, and along with the other children he was just beginning to understand the unique nature of his chakra. Each of the children demonstrated a special way that the chakra manifested itself in their illusions. Suri was able to mix his genjutsu into his dolls to increase their natural ability. His style of genjutsu soon showed itself, an evasive form where Suri would manipulate enemies from an out of the way location until he saw fit to step in himself and deal the final killing blow. Suri didn’t know about the other two, but Miri used her genjutsu to manipulate her own person. Apparently the way she made herself look cast a second genjutsu on the people looking at her, forcing out strong emotions or actions from her. From what Suri heard, she had already been rapped several times by her own doctors wanting to ‘test’ how strong some of her more lust oriented genjutsu was. She hadn’t had an easy life either and it made Suri connect with her on a small level. Miri was one of the closest things Suri had ever had to a friend… even if their relationship was more like acquaintances or coworkers. When Suri turned fifteen he considered himself to be fairly close to Miri, and he was considered by the staff to be exceptionally cruel to his enemies. Then Suri became sick. Though it was not just Suri, all the subjects became sick around the same time. They developed a rare disease that stopped their bodies from producing chakra, the same illness that Soragoto, the Illusion King, died of. Suddenly Suri was right back to where he started. Afraid that the subjects could die at anytime, the doctors forced them through countless tests and trials to try and understand their limits and potential before they expired. It was difficult, and no mercy or rest was offered. The only bright side was an unusual skill that the doctors had assumed was never transferred to the children. The ability to drain chakra from someone else, devouring it and making it the children’s. When the children began to run out of chakra they were allowed to feed off of other failed test subjects for different projects. This chance to feed off of another was… maddening and intoxicating in a way. Suri began to incorporate it into his combat training. Instead of killing a defeated enemy, he would pull out and devour every last drop of their chakra. Every time he felt stronger, more than he was before. This was when Suri began to plan, he was ill and he didn’t know how much time he had, though the illness was slow to progress. Suri didn’t want to die a lab rat, he wanted to be free. He learned more about the guards, began to use his dolls to scout the building. Within four months he was almost ready for his escape, there was only one thing missing. He needed the strength to break free, and the perfect chance presented itself during his next cooperation test with Miri. She whispered to him, well… she used her genjutsu to inform him of her plans. Most genjutsu never worked on Suri or the other children after they learned to devour chakra, but they shared the same type of chakra and though they could resist they were not immune to each other’s genjutsu. She said she wanted free and she wanted Suri to join her. Said she wanted to sneak out and see him that night, and show her how much he meant to her. She was trying to lure him in with her body and love, but Suri could see it in her eyes. She had figured out the same thing he had… they needed to devour the Soragoto chakra from the other children. She must have thought Suri was the easiest target. That night she slipped out and used her genjutsu to make her way to Suri’s room. She had planned to get Suri into a ‘vulnerable position’ and devour his chakra when he was distracted. When she entered Suri embraced her, and then slid a blade into her spine. Before she died she was more than distracted enough for Suri to devour every drop of her chakra. He gave her a little goodbye kiss before basking in the feeling. Like being complete, but just a little short. The soragoto chakra was different from anything he had devoured before and he wanted more. Suri made his way through the halls, his genjutsu felt stronger and he had little difficulty making his way to the rooms of the other three. They never had a chance, his chakra was greater than there’s was. He snuck up on the first and stabbed him like he had Miri before devouring his chakra. The next two he didn’t even bother, he was three times as powerful as they were and his chakra practically pulled theirs away before he even opened the doors to their rooms. He finally had it all, the collective Soragoto chakra that made him feel… whole. For the first time since he wasn’t sure when he was complete. By this time someone figured out that Suri and Miri were not in there rooms. Worse yet, Miri’s dead body was in Suri’s room. An alarm went off and people were sent to find Suri. His genjutsu was on a whole different level, they had never expected that kind of boost in his abilities. Being unprepared they never stood a chance of stopping Suri from escaping. For the first time in his life Suri took his steps into the outside world. He made a run for it and continued running for five months before he felt safe. Over that time he had several encounters with families and people. He used his genjutsu on each of them, convinced them they knew him, trusted him, depended on him. Had them tell him what he needed to know to live in the outside world. It took time but Suri was a fast learner. When he thought the doctors were closing in on him he would devour the chakra he needed to get rid of his loose ends and move on. He never planned on getting caught, EVER. A few times Suri found himself in a hidden village. He would take a place in a family, normally one with a child going to the ninja academy. When the child returned he used his genjutsu to go over the child’s lessons. It didn’t take him long to figure out that he was miles ahead of these children in everything they learned. Though he did find their knowledge of how to behave in common day to day life very interesting. If he felt he was drawing too much attention, he would just move on to the next town or village. It wasn’t hard to live like this, but it was dangerous. When Suri was sixteen he was caught devouring chakra behind a big top tent. He cause caught by the leader of the circus. But instead of being upset or try and turn Suri in, he was asked to join the circus. The circus was call the Kurokyokuba (Black Circus). A traveling circus that would move from village to village, town to town, place to place to perform for the masses. At least that was the cover, and of course everyone within the circus was an amazing performer. But beneath something else went on, smuggling, robbery, drugs, and assassinations. The ringmaster, a mysterious figure that went by nothing more than his title, led his first tier performers called the Kurokyokubadan (Black Circus Troupe) on their crime spree. Suri’s ability to drain a person of their chara was impressive and the greedy ringmaster had big plans for Suri. Suri’s plans were bigger. He joined the group and for a time obeyed like a good little puppet. Then when he felt he had a decent understanding of what went on he made his move. He devoured the ringmaster’s chakra and placed him in the influence of a powerful genjutsu. Suddenly Suri was in charge and the ringmaster was his puppet. ================ The large man leaned back in his chair counting his money. So much profit from such a simple little operation. As long as they kept moving, kept under the radar they could get past even the hidden village shinobi. His striped pants pulled up a bit as he leaned back in his hair and stretched his legs out, propping his feet on the desk. His grin was wide and his teeth a light shade of yellow. He was amazed at how well this was going really. He hadn’t expected to pull off the last job, but when the new kid sucked his chakra dry everything else worked like magic. It was almost too perfect. ”Soon I’ll ha-” A door closed and his eyes flashed over to it. There stood a young man with a very cocky grin spreading from one ear to the other. That mug really got on the ringmaster’s nerves. The new kid was good, but sometimes it almost wasn’t worth putting up that attitude. He had been showing up a lot recently, asking questions and ‘trying to get his head around the business’ as he said. The ringmaster didn’t really trust the kid but he gave good results, and you don’t argue with results. ”What do you want kid? Trying to wrap your head around more of the business?” The ringmaster stressed the word business to try and show how much he hated talking about it. The boy smiled, and brushed back on of his blond hairs from his face. He stepped forward, and for some reason seemed more ominous than ever he had before. ”No… I think I know enough. I no longer need you to explain your business to me.” The boy’s walk seemed lethal in some way, like a snake slithering up on its prey. His eyes looked dangerous, calm, in complete control. ”Excuse me?” the ringmaster said with a tone of aggression that he hoped to hide his nervousness in. ”No, excuse me. I has to rely on you longer than I originally planned. As it turns out your operation is set up very well and took some time to figure out. But I have, which means that now you’re only good for one thing.” His smile actually grew wider as he reached out very quickly. The ringmaster pulled back and fell backwards in his chair. Suri pounced, jabbing his knee into the man’s stomach and placing his right hand across his face, mushing down his nose. The man’s eyes widened as some kind of transparent mass or figure began to rise out of Suri. It seemed to lack features until a line formed from one end to the other. It was curled up at the ends… the same way Suri’s mouth made that annoying smirk. Suri leaned down next to the man’s ear and whispered ”I wonder what your fear tastes like.” The mouth on the strange shape opened reveling a set of razor sharp fangs. The man suddenly became aware of a greenish shape lifting from his own body. It held a general shape similar to his own but lacked features, and he felt it pull from him. He was a ninja once, he had used techniques before and felt the exhaust… he knew what it felt like when your chakra was leaving. Suri’s chakra, as he now assumed it was, launched forward and bit into his own. There was a squishing sound and the fangs pulled back with a large portion of the ringmaster’s chakra. He tried to scream but his voice left him. He felt weak, like a hole had opened up in him. As if ice was just buried in his chest. The mouth came down again, and took another bite. His chakra was almost sucked up into that thing, and every bite made it larger, the teeth sharper and the mouth wider. Soon his eyes rolled back into his head. Suri closed his eyes and just enjoyed it for a moment. So much fear, the realization of what happened to all Suri’s victims, and the anger that he let himself fall prey to such a trap. Fear, realization, and anger. It was sweet with a tart juicing center. Then there came a displeasing aftertaste… he was unhappy with his life. Suri spit and wished he could get rid of the ‘flavor, but it would be there for a while. He kept his hand on the ringmaster’s face and focused his chakra. It felt like a tide, pulling back deep within him and then shifting like a tsunami to crush a village too close to a shore. He felt his charka invade the ringmaster’s body, circulating itself and adjusting to his fat body. Then Suri let go, and stood up to dust off his clothes. ”Get up… we have a lot of changes to make.” Suri said with a voice that simply reeked of his dissapointment in his latest meal. The ringmaster’s eyes opened. ”Yes.” ================ Reorganizing the group a bit, Suri set it up so that the Kurokyokubadan, the first teir and main performers of the circus, be only set up of shinobi. They would be the ones to carry out the circus’s dark deeds and thus they should have the skills needed for the job. In addition, while still dealing in smuggling drugs, and what have you, the cirus was made to take on one more set of tasks. Missions rejected by the hidden villages for whatever reason. Some dangerous, some the people just couldn’t pay for. The Kurokyokuba was willing to take on any jobs, and if the client couldn’t offer up enough cash for the job then other methods of payment were always available. Suri could use them to fee, drain them of their chakra or use them for other more simple jobs. Favors can be as valuable as money. This new set up brought new riches to the circus, and with extra caution it didn’t take much to slip under the villages radar with the circus cover. Every time they stopped in or near a hidden village Suri made sure to pick up a list of rejected missions, high profile assignations often somewhere on the list. He had found the perfect home, a place he could rule from the shadows through his fat puppet the ringmaster. As long as he was a simple member of the group and not the leader he didn’t draw much attention and his old doctors would be unlikely to find him. If they went down he could escape as a simple circus member, or at least get a reduced punishment, while the ringmaster held the greatest blame. All the while he earned a good income, constant food supply, and the satisfaction of playing a complicated game where people’s very lives were at stake. Suri had found his home, and what a lovely home it was. Life was simple, effective, enjoyable even. But Suri was overconfident, the group was easy to move around but with Suri's ambition behind it the circus grew too famous. That is to say, one too many high profile jobs after another attracted the attention of the villages. In under a year a hunt was conducted of all performers within the fire and lightning countries. It didn't take much for the circus to be hunted down, and unable to deal with the forces of the villages all at once Suri had no choice but to disband the circus. He attempted to buy time for his troupe members to flee by personally stalling their attackers. He believed he could defeat them with little trouble. He was wrong. They used sealing jutsu to trap Suri and lock him away. He was to be moved to a prison where he could never escape. A prison within the mist country. Locked away with his chakra sealed up tight, Suri began to die... To be continued |

Continued History: Spoiler: click to toggle Then came a man, he said he had interest in Suri's abilities and with his help, Suri would live. With no other options Suri agreed to be subject to experiments once again. The man focused on Suri's ability to control others with his genjutsu. Said it was for a big change in the world, Suri didn't care, as long as he was allowed to use his power to feed. But then one day all the attention stopped and Suri was left alone again. His seals replaced, he needed to feed or he would die. He began to influence others, with his words, his acts. In a short time he managed to target a female guard, a woman with a hard shell and strong heart. He started off with a hard shell, made her hate him for his stubbornness. She did indeed hate Suri, viewing him as another bloodthirsty criminal. Then Suri showed her his softer side, pretending to cry alone when he thought no one was watching. He made sure to cry loud enough over his 'mother', having identified the woman as having a mother complex. Over time he turned that hate into attraction, then love. It took a long time, but after a few months she would break the seal in short bursts to allow him to feed. He didn't push it, too many guards and he was too weak. He talked with her, encouraged her, made her love him. Then one day he told her it wasn't enough, he was to die soon. Unsure what to do, torn between love and duty... she freed him. In that moment Suri devoured her chakra, every last drop. She died, and Suri used his illusions to replace himself with her remains. Four years after his capture and imprisonment, Suri escaped. He allowed over half the prisoners escape and go wild, using the confusion to leave as well. It wasn't until later when the prisoners were being tallied up that the guards found the body of a woman, decayed and rotting in Suri's cell. Things had changed though, Suri had fallen out of touch with the world. He started in the Mist, and paid the Mizukage a visit, only to find it was the very man that had arranged for tests to be held on him. He had used Suri's abilities to push a special kind of genjutsu over the Mist village. He had actually enslaved everyone, Suri found it intriguing and allowed the game to continue, to expand. Working behind the scenes, modifying the control, arranging plans, focusing on the big and small picture. Suri practically controlled the village, or at least learned how. When things seemed boring he would leave for a time, travel, hold a few performances. Then he would returned, and it was on one such return that he found his little life in Mist destroyed. Someone had dethroned his little friend with the mind controlling genjutsu. A new Mizukage had taken power. A new game had begun. Suri donned his circus once more, arranging for a show especially for the Mizukage. During the show he presented her with a doll, a token of thanks for the country's savior. She was powerful, stronger than him. At night he used the doll to visit her, nothing much. Sneaking up to the Mizukage in her sleep and invading a dream here, placing a minor genjutsu there. It was such a small thing that no one would ever notice. Then he did it again, and again. She showed resistance, she was a Kage after all... But even the greatest of strengths had weaknesses. Suri would perform for her again, and again. Each time he pushed his influence. Each time he drew closer. Suri had a new idea in his head. Control, not just the Mist... it wasn't enough. He wanted to move the world, he wanted to play a bigger game. ![]() < Combat Info > Class: S-Rank Village: No village Elemental Affinity: n/a Main Fighting Type: Suri uses genjutsu for almost everything. He has a unique set of ninjutsu, but even these do little more than help lead him to the use of various other genjutsu. When fighting, it is less about injuring a person as it is stripping them of their will to fight. If feeling particularly cruel he will go so far as to try and strip them of their very will to live. His genjutsu can be worse than any nightmare and his tactics are difficult to fight. He does not aim to win fights, but to make enemies lose. He uses intimidation, fear, pain, sadness and other feelings and emotions to crush a person's spirit. Main weapon(s): Spoiler: click to toggle Flute An instrument consisting of a slender tube closed at one end with keys and finger holes on the side and an opening near the closed end across which the breath is blown. Endan Smoke bombs, thrown to conceal your self to make an escape or to hinder the vision of an opponent while you make an attack. Used as a dive version. Made in a similar way as metsubushi. Caltrops Iron barbs that are thrown into the ground or an object to slow down an enemy that is chasing the user. | Damage- 5 Shobo Small weapon used to attack pressure points. The weapon has a ring in the middle where a finger is slipped in, the striking part of weapon is a sharp or dull piece of wood or metal. | Required- 4 Reflex | Damage- 6+(1/2 Accuracy) Hari/Senbon A needle, or dart that is very easy to conceal in any area deemed useful. They are usually poisoned by the user to increase their effectiveness. | Damage- 1+(1/2 Accuracy) Kunai A Multi-purpose tool and throwing dagger. Kunai have a triangular, double edged blade. Some Kunai do not have a hilt, instead a ring that makes up the tang in the end made for quick grab, throw, and swing if you attach wire or rope to the ring. Also, Kunai blades in both end of hilt exist. The shape of a kunai can be a make-shift shovel and it does not always serve the purpose of weapon. | Damage- 3+(1/2 Reflex) or 3 + (1/2 Accuracy) Shuriken Shuriken are multi-pointed, flat throwing weapons with sharp edges. These can be thrown efficiently and proper usage may result an instant kill. Penetrating metal objects like armor is incredibly difficult, the shuriken end up glancing off usually. | Damage- 2+(1/2 Accuracy) Kodachi This is a sword whose length is between that of a Nihonto and a Wakizashi. Usually the blade of a Kodachi is straight, some have a slight curve, but not to the extent of a Nihonto. The tsuba of a Kodachi is usually square or rectangular. | Required- 3 Strength | Damage- 5+(1/2 Speed) Strengths: Suri has been trained as a hardened shinobi, capable of analyzing situation and altering his strategies in a moment's notice. He is normally a very calm person, and likes to think through his actions (Assuming he has the time). One of Suri's biggest strengths is his ability to properly manipulate a situation, it isn't all about running headfirst into danger. Sometimes its better to just sit back and let things play out as they will until your own role in things is perfectly clear. Suri is a master of genjutsu, and has an almost frightening level of command over his abilities. Thanks to his devour ability, genjutsu has no effect on him. Weaknesses: Suri is a very selfish person, and thus a very poor choice in teams. Unless something affects him directly, he normally won't even lift a finger for his 'allies'. His curiosity can lead to him offering enemies an advantage in combat, just because he wanted to see what would happen, and his arrogance allows him to not think twice about it. Although he claims to be a pacifist, he constantly picks fights by insulting people, essentially painting a target on the back of his head. Almost all of his jutsu are genjutsu which unless used creatively, cannot cause any physical damage to the victim. Suri's devour ability means that healing techniques have no effect on him, along with any other kind of boosting jutsu that places someone's chakra inside of him. Thanks to his illness he often suffers frequent pain throughout his body, and because the corruption has progressed the most in his left arm his guard and attacks from his left side are weak. Thus, his weakest point is his left side... sometimes he can hardly hold a knife in his left hand due to the pain. Traits: Spoiler: click to toggle Clan Ability (See history for his "clan") Many clans have special abilities(such as the inzuaka's naturally bestial features like enhanced hearing, smell and sight), and as bloodline mixed elements take the Genin slot on those characters, the passive abilities of these clans can occupy one or more of the users slots. |The use of doll jutsu| Natural Well Your a natural focal point of the energies of the world, channeling the very power of the cosmos through your body unconsciously. For whatever reason, your body just holds more chakra than other peoples. The implications of this are clear, of course. |+50 Chakra per Rank| Soragoto The Illusion King Soragoto was known as the Illusion King, and was considered one of the greatest genjutsu masters in existence. The user has found a way to take in Soragoto's chakra, replacing their own with it. This allows them to use Sorogoto's greatest techniques. | The user can use the Azamukimadowasu, Teashi no Soragoto, Kyoukou no Soragoto, Oni Naishoubanashi, and the Gyoushi no Soragoto. | Techniques: Spoiler: click to toggle E-Rank Spoiler: click to toggle - Playing with Dolls [Doruasobi] A bizarre jutsu that creates dolls from people. With a touch the user can painlessly remove a thin layer of skin, so thin that it wouldn't even leave a mark, and uses chakra to turn the skin into a kind of durable cloth that quickly fills with stuffing before sewing itself together. The doll is completely organic, the stuffing, clothes, and string are types of hair, while any accessories the doll has are made of a type of bone. The doll will resemble whoever the user wishes it too, generally this will be whoever it was made from. Advanced users of this technique can create life sized dolls. | Chakra- 5 (per doll) (x3 cost for life sized doll) | Doll HP- 3 (x3 for life sized) | Does not require handseals. | Does not count towards post limit. | E-Rank |3 Points - Moral Manipulation Skill [Mukei Ayatsuri no Jutsu] A natural and subconscious ability that Suri has developed. Capable of effecting up to four of the five senses of its victims, this is a genjutsu that slowly alters the victim's morals and general reasoning. Victim's generally become more receptive to things that Suri says or more willing to do things he asks them to do. Suri laces his skin, voice, eyes, and even his scent with minuscule amounts of chakra. So small that no one would ever notice them, even if using a skill like the sharingan or byakugan. By hearing his voice, physical contact, locking eyes, or breathing near him, people are caught in his genjutsu. Unfortunately the effects of this technique are minimal at best. It takes prolonged expose to Suri for this skill to have any noticeable effects. (The length of time needed to witness a significant change would be considered multiple threads) | Passive | E-Rank | 3 Points - Soragoto's Sickness [Byouki no Soragoto] A strange condition that has become known as Soragoto's sickness. It is an incurable disease that corrupts the user's body and spirit. In its early stages the sickness can be identified by black veins running along one or more of the user's limbs. As the illness progresses these will eventually spread over the entire body, causing pain and render the limbs in question useless. It is sad to say that this is not the worst part of the illness, because of the disease's effects the user's body stops producing chakra. When the user's chakra is gone the disease rapidly spreads. Forcing chakra into the user has been known to slow the corruption of the body. | Passive | User can't naturally create chakra in their body. | User can only receive +15 health per point of endurance. | E-Rank | 3 Points - Clone Skill [Bunshin no Jutsu] A basic technique which creates false clones of the user. The clones are used as a diversion while the user attacks. The clones are incapable of attacking and disappear if directly hit. | Chakra- 5 (per clone) | The bunshin has as much Speed and Reflex as the creator | Effect lasts 5 Posts | E-Rank | 3 points - Transformation Skill [Henge no Jutsu] This genjutsu causes the user, including any equipment he may be carrying, appear different. You can appear up to 1 foot taller or shorter. You may appear thin, fat, or in between. Otherwise, the extent of the apparent change is up to you. You could add or obscure a minor feature or look like an entirely different person. This jutsu does not give the user any special ability to mimic mannerisms, nor does it change tactile or sound aspects of the user. | Chakra- 1 (Every Post) | E-Rank | 3 points D-Rank Spoiler: click to toggle - Familiar Face [Kaonajimi] A variation of the Doruasobi technique, the user makes physical contact with someone and removes a thin layer of skin from them. This layer of skin is so thin that it does not even leave a mark when removed. The user makes the needed handseals and applies chakra to the skin. The skin expands over the user's skin and changes their physical appearance into that of the person that the skin originally belonged to. This technique can change the user's height, size, voice, etc... to more or less than the user actually is, making it a very effective skill for spying. When the user is finished, the skin can be ripped off. Once torn the remaining skin will dissolve into nothing. | Chakra- 15 + 5(every post) | Must know Doruasobi. | D-Rank | 6 Points - Smallest Spy [Saishou Tei] The user is able to create small cloth dolls from their own body or from the body of someone else. Once made, the user can place a small amount of chakra into the doll(s). Once given the user's chakra, the doll(s) are capable of moving about, and can give the user eyes, ears, and even a voice wherever the doll is. These small toys are perfect spies, scouts, and messengers. The dolls can look like anyone or anything, making them very useful. | Chakra- 5 (per doll) +1 (every post) | Requires no handseals. | Does not count toward post limit. | Must know Doruasobi | D-Rank | 6 Points - Doll of Beauty [Hina no Keikoku] By making physical contact to an enemy's skin, the user can create a cloth doll in the image of the victim from their body through the Doruasobi technique. After the doll has been made the user casts a genjutsu to connect the victim with the doll through the illusion. Any physical damage done to the doll is felt by the victim, and outward injures on the doll will seem to appear over the victim's body. The pain is very real though and can be very maddening. This jutsu can be broken with kai or by destroying the doll. | Chakra- 35 + 5(every post) | The user's attacks against the doll do not affect the doll's health (Within reason). | Must know Doruasobi | D-Rank | 6 Points - Addiction [Jouyouheki] A simple genjutsu that gives the user an addictive personality; literally. Being around the user becomes more and more pleasing, euphoric even. After a period of time under this effect, separation from the user becomes so unpleasant that it can cause sickness as if suffering from withdraw. The user can manipulate the actual amount of pleasant feelings people under this genjutsu feel. This way victims of this genjutsu actually become addicted to being around the user. | Chakra- 40 (every post)(per person) | Takes at least two threads to form a strong addiction. | Requires player permission to use on a character. | D-Rank | 6 Points - Ianfu's True Love [Ianfu Shinsei Ai] This is a genjutsu that is only useful to someone who understands how to manipulate emotions. After the user makes a few fast handseals, this technique can be used to momentarily increase a feeling of deep love that one person has for another... and then instantly tear it away. Ianfu's true love is an illusion that makes the victim feel like they have had their heart stepped on by their lover, used and thrown away it leaves nothing but hopelessness, loneliness, and tears. | Chakra- 20 | Lasts for three posts. | D-Rank | 6 Points C-Rank Spoiler: click to toggle - Doll of Desires [Hina no Bonno] By making physical contact to an enemy's skin, the user can create a cloth doll in the image of the victim from their body through the Doruasobi technique. After the doll has been made the user casts a genjutsu to connect the victim with the doll. The user can then whisper to the doll, and influence the victim with what is said. Through this method, the user can put thoughts, emotions, and so on into the victim's mind. With the right wording, the user could numb up real emotions and cover them up with the fake emotions. This genjutsu can be broken with kai, or by destroying the doll. | Chakra- 40 +5(every post) | Must know Doruasobi | C-Rank | 12 Points - Doll Instantaneous Body Skill [Hina Shunshin no Jutsu] An interesting technique that allows the user to travel long distances through the use of dolls made with the doruasobi technique. Similar to a summoning jutsu that can call contracted animals from great distances, the user makes a special doll that is linked to another doll previously made. The user switches with this second doll like a substitution technique, but instead of switching places with something nearby, the user reappears inside the original first doll. Obviously these dolls are not very big, so the doll is often stretched out a torn to shreds when the user appears. The second doll created can be used to return to the user's original starting point, assuming it hasn't been destroyed. | Chakra- 25 | Has a 1 mile limit. | C-Rank | 12 Points - Smile While Crying [Warai Soba Shoutan] An interesting genjutsu that requires no handseals, instead all it requires is that the user blow air in the face of the target. Once done the user's chakra takes instant effect. The victim is thrown into an illusion where they relive their happiest moment, while at the same time the victim is placed in a different illusion where they relive their saddest moment. Sometimes these moments are fabrications by the victim's mind. The strain of their mind being separated into three different places; the real world, their happiest memory, and their saddest memory, is very stressful on the mind. Often when the illusion ends a minute or so later the sudden snap back to reality leaves the mind in a 'numb' state for a few seconds while the victim cries and smiles at the same time. Needless to say this sudden shock can leave the victim open to the user's attacks. | Chakra- 90 | C-Rank | 12 Points - Nightmare Smile [Akumu Warai] An odd genjutsu that can be used to search out an enemies worst fears. Best used on enemies that are already asleep, the user forms the needed handseals while within 20' of their target. Both the user and the target will fall into a deep sleep, while the victim dreams the user is free to roam around the victim's mind. If the victim realizes that they are caught in a genjutsu, they can use kai to expel the user and wake themselves up. This is why it is best to use this on sleeping targets (Because sleeping targets are using their subconscious mind and not their conscious one.). While inside the dream the user can learn about the victim's past, their desires, and their fears by influencing the dream. | Chakra- 35 +10(every post) | Places the user into someone's dream. | If the target is not asleep then they fall asleep. | Any physical contact or damage to the user or victim cancels the jutsu. | C-Rank | 12 Points - Soragoto's Gaze [Gyoushi no Soragoto] A simple genjutsu cast by looking at someone. This genjutsu captures anyone caught in the user's gaze. People caught in the genjutsu see a monstrous figure rise up out of the ground behind the user. The air seems to go stale, and a paralyzing fear takes hold of the victims. The user can freely control the figure's appearance and actions, to a point of having the figure let out a roar or yell that leaves the victim's ears ringing. This technique is used to stop enemies in their tracks through their fear, effectively ending any possible confrontation before it begins. | Chakra- 45 | Lasts one post. | Effects everyone the user can see and wishes to target. | Requires Soragoto The Illusion King. | C-Rank | 12 Points B-Rank Spoiler: click to toggle - Doll of Oneself [Hina no Mi] By making physical contact to an enemy's skin, the user can create a cloth doll in the image of the victim from their body through the Doruasobi technique. After the doll has been made the user casts a genjutsu to connect the victim with the doll. Once cast, the doll will copy the body movements of the victim. If the user should move the doll themselves though, the victim's body would move to copy the movements of the doll. This technique lets the user keep track of a person's actions, and influence them as well. This genjutsu can be broken with kai, or by destroying the doll. | Chakra- 50 +15(every post) | Must know Doruasobi | B-Rank | 18 Points - Hateful Doll Skill [Urameshii Hina no Jutsu] One of the strongest jutsu using the bizarre Doruasobi technique. The user must make physical contact with the target, and once done removes a large portion of skin. This skin is too thin to cause any damage or pain when removed. The user feeds chakra into the skin, and in a matter of moments creates a life sized copy of the victim in doll form (Often comical looking). The user then pumps their own chakra into this doll, for the dolls use. This doll is physically identical to the target and can even use weak versions of the victim's jutsu. The doll unfortunately shares any of the target's weaknesses, and once the chakra the user placed int he doll runs out or it suffers too much damage, the doll devolves into nothing. | Chakra- 50 (To make the doll) + 1(inc) | Doll HP- (1/4 target's hp) | Doll's Chakra- 1(inc) | Doll has equal stats as the person it resembles. | Doll can use the same jutsu as the person it resembles at 1/2 effect. | B-Rank | Must know Doruasobi. | B-Rank | 18 Points - Blue Doll Eye [Aohinagan] A technique used in combination with Doruasobi and genjutsu. The user makes a life sized doll of someone, and then casts a very special ninjutsu. This technique creates a weapon within the doll that builds and expands within until the doll is ripped apart. The weapon is a massive and elaborate shuriken standing over seven feet tall. This giant shuriken can be used as a melee weapon or thrown. If thrown, it will endlessly chase after whoever the doll was made from. If cut by this weapon, a light genjutsu will be cast causing a random emotion decided by the user. Other genjutsu the user knows may be channeled through the weapon. | Chakra- 100 + 25(every post) | Damage - (thrown) 14 + (1/2 Accuracy); (melee) 20 + (1/2 Strength) | B-Rank | 18 Points - Black Music [Kuro Ongaku] A powerful genjutsu that affects everyone who hears it. The illusion requires only a loud whistle from the user. As soon as the user whistles, everyone caught in the genjutsu will see a thick black smoke escape the user's lips. The smoke quickly forms behind the user as a floating mass of darkness with several black tentacle like appendages made from smoke. The mysterious creature is as large as a castle and will lash out at anything the user desires. This genjutsu works well with groups as everyone in the group will see and experience the same illusion. If the beast attacks, then any pain felt in the illusion feels totally real and will continue to hurt even after the illusion is broken. If, while combating the illusion, the victim believes they are thrown 30 ft, then they will see whatever landscape is located 30ft away, even though they are still running around in the area place as before. | Chakra- 80 +5(every post)(per person) | Illusion lasts for as long as the continual chakra cost is paid | Broken with Kai. | Even though pain felt in the illusion is real, this technique cannot cause actual damage. | B-Rank | 18 Points - Easy Victory [Rakushou] Doujutsu like the sharingan and byakugan can be pesky nuisances to genjutsu users, as can techniques that break or reflect genjutsu. It only makes sense that some kind of counter would be made for them. This technique tricks its victim into believing they have used their doujutsu (if they have one) or canceling technique to break a genjutsu. Thus fooling them into believing they have an advantage when none exists. | Must be used the post before the doujutsu or canceling technique is used. | Chakra- 90 +20(every post if successful) | Doujutsu sights are controlled by the victim's brain with minor influences from the user. | B-Rank | 18 Points - Devour [Musaborikurau] A twisted little genjutsu that works best on groups rather than individuals. This genjutsu can be cast through physical contact, or a vocal command. After some simple handseals, the user has only to touch the target or say "musaborikurau" (or "devour") within hearing range of the target. The target is suddenly filled with a ravenous hunger and a desire to do anything to satisfy this hunger. They are filled with the desire to devour everything around them, and to continue to eat until full. As long as there is something easier for the target to eat than the user, this jutsu makes a wonderful distraction and sometimes in groups a deadly efficient way to end the fight. | Chakra- 45 (Per target) | Lasts for four posts | B-Rank | 18 Points - Tear to Pieces [Sudan] A vicious and terribly painful genjutsu skill. This technique can be cast through eye contact, a vocal command, or physical contact and does not require handseals. If done through the user's voice, then the victim must hear the user say "sudan" (Or "tear to Pieces"). Once caught in the genjutsu, the victim will see themselves as a life sized cloth doll whose stitches are breaking and falling apart. The victim will begin to lose stuffing, organs, blood, bones, and basically everything else that is inside the body. As they fall apart their body is violently torn to shreds. The target is alive until the very end of the jutsu, feeling every last excruciatingly painful second of the illusion. | Chakra- 65 (per person) | Lasts one post | B-Rank | 18 Points - Demon Whispering [Oni Naishoubanashi] A powerful genjutsu that is sometimes referred to as Soragoto's voice. This technique can effect all five senses of its victims to various degrees. The strongest sense being hearing. The user's voice carries the most weight in this genjutsu. It was said that the king of illusions used this genjutsu to skillfully deceive his prey with sweet words, while all the while dragging them into darkness. This genjutsu destroys its victim's reason, making the victim susceptible to even the most absurd ideas or suggestions from the user. | Chakra- 45 (per post) | Requires Soragoto The Illusion King. | B-rank | 18 Points A-Rank Spoiler: click to toggle - Soragoto's Famine [Kyoukou no Soragoto] The king of all Illusions Soragoto was known for his insatiable appetite. A form of gluttony like no other, Soragoto hungered for the chakra of others. Soragoto's chakra has the ability to take in and assimilate foreign chakra into itself. It is very aggressive and once it begins to devour a person's chakra, it takes a great deal of will power to stop it. A person's chakra is very influenced by their state of mind, and because of this different people with different feels have chakra with various flavors that cannot be described by normal food standards. Because of the Soragoto chakra's ability to absorb foreign chakra, genjutsu is usless against the user. When placed under a genjutsu, the user suffers for only a brief moment before the enemies' chakra is devoured. Unfortunately the same is true of medical jutsu, the moment the healing chakra is applied to the user's wounds it is devoured by Soragoto's chakra. | User can devour another's chakra and add it to their own chakra pool. | The amount of chakra devoured is decided on by the players during the thread. | Genjutsu, medical jutsu, and other similar jutsu that rely on foreign chakra entering the user's body do not effect the user. | A person who has had their chakra depleted to 0 can still live if they receive medical treatment quickly. | Cannot devour chakra from another person unless the user is very close to the target. | Requires other person's permission to devour their character's chakra. | Requires Soragoto The Illusion King trait. | Kinjutsu | A-Rank | 25 Points - Soragoto's Limbs [Teashi no Soragoto] A forbidden technique that can only be used on someone who has been drained of most if not all of their chakra through the Kyoukou no Soragoto. After devouring someone's chakra, the user can forcibly place their own chakra into their victim's body. The user's chakra takes the place of the chakra that used to be in the victim and casts a very powerful genjutsu on the victim. If the victim was totally drained of chakra then this genjutsu cannot be broken with kai, which stops the flow of the victim's chakra to expel the foreign chakra. (as none of the victim's chakra remains.) People caught in this genjutsu become the user's, for lack of a better word, slaves. They are stripped of their will and become obedient puppets that follow the user's every command. Because of the user's chakra within their system, their bodies become unable to produce their own chakra (As the user's chakra devours it the second it forms). So if the victim is a shinobi, and they use up what chakra the user gave them, then it is very possible that they will die. In some cases the user might not have devoured all of the victim's chakra. In these situations, if the user has not devoured at least half then this technique has no effect. People with some of their own chakra remaining can fight the effects of this technique, and even have it broken with kai. | Chakra- 1(inc) | Must give at least 1/3 of the victim's total chakra for this technique to work. | Requires permission from member if used on a PC character. | Requires Soragoto The Illusion King. | Kinjutsu | A-Rank | 25 Points - To Deceive and Lead Astray [Azamukimadowasu] The greatest technique of Soragoto The Illusion King, Azamukimadowasu: The ability to deceive and lead astray. The user can release their chakra in various ways, through their skin, scent, eyes, voice, a gesture of their hand or body, (and several other ways) so that they can cast genjutsu on almost anyone near them. This genjutsu creates physical illusions, and is only limited by the user's imagination. From something as simple as making the user appear to vanish, to something as complex as a monster circus tent firing flaming rabbits made of chocolate. Absolutely anything can be made. This technique can even recreate physical feelings like pain or pleasure. It can create something as small as a drop of sweat to something like a sea of blood. If the user is hit or loses their focus or if the victim uses kai, then this genjutsu can be broken. | Chakra- 30 (inc10)+ 5(inc10)(every post) | Distance- 5x5ft (inc10) | Creates free-form illusions. | Requires Soragoto The Illusion King. | Does not require handseals. | A-Rank | 25 Points - Agreement of Minds [Uraawase] A very powerful genjutsu that connects the mind of the user and the victim of this technique. This genjutsu allows the user to look through the victim's mind (If the victim is skilled with genjutsu they could do the same to the user while this technique is in effect) at an amazing speed, as well as break down or create powerful genjutsu defenses against techniques similar to this one. The true use of this technique though, is the option of minor changes of any memories the user stumbles across. For this jutsu to work the user must place their hand on the victim's head, while doing so the victim and the user become totally oblivious to their surroundings. This means that the user is vulnerable, making this technique impossible to use almost impossible to use in combat. | Chakra- 120 (every post) | While in effect both members should RP from the perspective that their characters are within the victim or user's mind. (example) | The user can look through the victim's memories and experiences (example), and cause minor changes WITH THE OTHER PLAYERS PERMISSION | Once a genjutsu defense is set, techniques that read the victim's mind or allow similar insight are blocked. | A-Rank | 25 Points Stats: HP: 820 Stamina: 1470 Chakra: 2565 Strength: 8 Speed: 12 Reflex: 12 Control: 35 Endurance: 7 Accuracy: 10 Stored Points: Total Points earned: Edited by Nosumo, Oct 6 2009, 12:22 AM.

In all honesty I'm just posting a third time in case after a bit of work Suri ends up extended into a third post. Its a legitimate fear. Also I'd like Nin to post saying that we did talk about Suri showing up and what not. We didn't really discuss any of his jutsu though. Most of these are directly over from the old KG with a few minor changes to fit in with this site. I'd like the staff to look over them extensively anyway, despite how long the APP may be. With a bit of luck this guy can get pushed through relatively quickly following or followed by the Mizukage. |
