[Character Information]
Name: Miyunaji Reinja Age: 27 Gender: Female Height: 5'7" Weight:145 lbs Eyes: Olive Green Hair: Light brown / blonde
Appearance:
Spoiler: click to toggle Reinja is often considered a rather daunting young female, and some consider it a wonder that she has been appointed to Kazekage so readily. However, young as she may seem, Reinja is considerably skilled in her arts, and has earned her position well. Reinja possesses an almost heart-shaped facial structure, with a slender, curved jawline and a pointed chin. A slender, unbroken nose is adorned on either side by bright, olive-green eyes, framed by gentle brown eyelashes and well-manicured eyebrows. The kunoichi's neck flows down into a very gentle shoulder structure, forming that ever-sought hourglass-shaped waist and hips for a package deal that is both beautiful and deadly. Long, slender yet athletic arms flow into powerful fingers; obviously, Reinja is more of a hand fighter than anything. The Kazekage's legs are long and athletic compared to her torso, giving her both a dangerous and desirable look. Miyunaji Reinja's hairstyle is one that is kept both simple, elegant, and proper for her rank. As much as one might think that the Kazekage can spend her days sitting in a chair, Reinja knows well that it is much the opposite; her light brown, almost blonde locks are kept cropped just below her ears, in a short style. Rather than wearing the metal-plated headband like most shinobi would have, Reinja prefers a simple cloth headband worn over her bangs with Sunagakure's symbol stitched in a dark brown into the fabric. Reinja's bangs are cropped just above her eyes to cover her seemingly large forehead. Formal Attire - [image]As the Kazekage that she is, Reinja has two different styles of clothing. Her first and foremost style of dress is her formal attire, or her Kage attire. Preferring her own clothing style to that which is common, Reinja dresses in a rather dress-like garment. This dress has sleeves which are just past her collarbone and edged with a fluttering, almost pleated wave, creatinga v-necked style. The dress itself reaches down to her knees, with a cloud-like end and a black outline. Overtop, she wears an open overcoat that buttons directly to the dress itself. The overcoat is split up the middle and buttons on to the white dress garment, and is also split up in the back to her hips. in the back, it is open slightly to reveal the dress, with a three-button closure near where her neck and spine meet. The overcoat is a light lavender-blue shade, with tails that reach down to her ankles on either side. It is adorned also by long, lavender-blue sleeves which are tied at the wrists yet still loose enough for movement. The overcoat has a royal-blue trim on the back and royal-blue buttons. The front and sleeves, however, are not trimmed like the rest. As a final addition, Reinja wears a light yellow-coloured headband rather than a brown one, as well as a dark goldenrod fabric choker. For her formal attire, Reinja's legs are clad in loose black leggings, worn underneath the skirt. Her feet are adorned by ivory boots with black soles and a dark goldenrod trim near the tops. These reach up to just past her ankles, with a heel on the back. Battle / Training Attire - [image]While Reinja may be the Kazekage, she is still a shinobi, or at least, she considers herself such. Reinja's battle attire is a lot more flashy than her formal attire, strangely enough. The first layer of clothing which Reinja wears is a white dress-like shirt, complete with baggy sleeves which reach to her wrists. They are held tight to her small wrists by a light teal-green cuff and tie, adding to her white-gloved hands. This shirt reaches up to frill around her neck, and is tied with a small, dark goldenrod scarf which flutters out just above her chest. The second layer which Reinja wears is a reinforced vest-like tunic, made of a hard leather material and manufactured directly for the archer. The collar is low, about three to four inches below Reinja's collarbone, with a frill that stretches upwards. The collar is off-the-shoulder, and is a dark teal colour. Reinja's torso is then adorned with a dress-like garment that reaches just past her hips, halfway to about mid-thigh or so. It has the same cloud-like pattern on the bottom as her formal attire, but is adorned with a dark teal trim rather than black. The sides of the garment are a light teal colour, while the two off-center pieces are a shade of white. The final addition to the garment is the main centerpiece that reaches from the collar to about her bellybutton, which is a dark teal colour. Reinja's legs are adorned in, much like her formal attire, dark brown leggings which form straight into the boots that she wears. However, on to pof that, she wears a set of tight white leggings, with a thick, dark-brown-almost-black band around her mid-thigh or so, flowing straight down into small pieces of fabric that fit underneath the ball of her foot. The bottom is lined with a goldenrod trim. As a final compensation, Reinja wears her quiver, complete with a holster for her bow, over her chest and on her back, angled towards her right shoulder. This tells anyone who knows how to use a bow that Reinja is right-handed.
Personality:
Spoiler: click to toggle ``The Leader
If there's one thing that Reinja happens to know quite well, it would have to be leadership. Over her years as a shinobi, Reinja has learned to both respect those that are of a higher authority than you as well as not to abuse your own leadership; this single trait is what has formed her into the Kazekage that she now is. Regardless of the situation, Reinja will never abuse her leadership if it is not for the greater good. She believes strongly that a good leader makes a good village, and that tends to be her motto when she is in a position of leadership. Reinja will only refer to her status in a bout of formality with people, or when she is required to give orders as the Kazekage.
As a leader and a person who has to give orders, however, Reinja is very skilled at picking the best course of action. An opportunist and optimist at heart, she tries to pick routes that will most likely end in the best ways possible. As much as she may want to win something at heart, however, Reinja also likes consensus decisions a lot of the time. She is constantly set, when in a civil debate, to find the most agreeable route for anyone, even if it may dampen her own wants in the long run. Finding a happy medium is something which Reinja rather enjoys doing.
``The Woman
As a woman, Reinja is more than just afraid to find herself that special someone. All in all, Reinja is completely afraid to commit to any relationship; as a woman who rules over men, she rarely has time to look for anyone or anything to do with such a thing. The main reason behind this fear of committment to another lies deeply in her teenage and young adult years, where she suffered great loss and heartbreak throughout the wars between Konohagakure and Sunagakure.
Of course, Reinja's womanly status stretches much farther than one might expect. Reinja is a strong believer that even women can be the best of fighters; as a young girl, she always strived to at some point bring herself into a position of power. To her great pride, she has achieved this; as a result, female shinobi are readily welcomed in Sunagakure, and Reinja has a strong will to bring more and more of them into the ranks.
``The Person
As a person, Reinja is commonly a very easy girl to speak to. At times, Reinja is considered to be the sort of girl that is considerably passive; once someone is on her good side, it's hard to break that bond. Though she's not much of a touchy-feely person, once she gets to know you and appreciate you, she could be absolutely more than your very best friend. Being easy to talk to is only a start, however; she's often the girl that will give you good advice even if you don't ask for it, and deliver it rather kindly as well.
Kind-hearted as she may be, however, Reinja can be a deadly foe when it comes down to things. When Reinja says she will do something, she truly will; whether it be a vow to protect your life or a vow to kill you, she will see to it that the deed is done, no matter the cost. All in all, Reinja can be morbid and deadly when the going gets rough; she's not afraid to kill someone brutally, especially if they just so happen to squeeze their way on to her bad side.
Though Reinja is now considered the top member of her village completely, she still holds a strong respect and ears for those who are possibly more intelligent than her in some areas.
History:
Spoiler: click to toggle "My life? Well, you probably don't want to know much about it, because you probably already know lots. But, well, I guess I'll tell you... Whoever you are.
I was born, as you might know, into the Miyunaji clan of Sunagakure. It was one of the worse times for me to be born, as some could consider; Sunagakure no Sato and Iwagakure no Sato were on tense terms when I was born, and that was only the beginning. Our clan, the Miyunaji, were ranged specialists due to our one solely known affinity, known as the Torigan. We were the snipers of Sunagakure no Sato; the people who could see all from a single vantage point. Some people considered us the Hyuuga of Sunagakure, though that was very much not the case. The Hyuuga were vastly different from us in that they could see past the normal range of human vision; as well, much unlike us, they could see through solid objects, while we were still limited to basic human vision.
Of course, that itself has nothing to do with my life, not really. Back to my story. A war broke out between Iwagakure no Sato and Sunagakure no Sato. With Konoha at our backs as they had been for a number of years, we infiltrated Iwagakure no Sato and took it down from the inside. I was born in the middle of that war, or rather, more or less near the end of it. I was only three years old when it ended. My life, at that point, was terrible. Our clan, being the ranged specialists and snipers that we were, was slowly being torn down by the wars of the world. Only myself and a few other younger children - my sister, Izayoi, and my two cousins, Kozuki and Renata, were the four youngest children of the clan. We were all around the same age; Izayoi was a year younger than myself, and Kozuki and Renata, the fraternal male and female twins of the Miyunaji clan, were a year older than myself, therefore, two years older than Izayoi.
Soon, however, we knew that war was going to break out again. It wasn't long, either; there was a short period of peace, until the Lightning Country attempted to invade Konoha. It started slow, but then, suddenly, Iwagakure no Sato broke the alliance with Sunagakure and invaded Konoha. Konohagakure, however, became lucky in that aspect; with the alliance between the two villages still intact, we of Sunagakure were there to aid them, pushing Iwagakure back into its rightful place once again. As always, however, we were having no luck with leaders; constantly, our leaders would have to be replaced, and none could really tell why. It seemed our Kage, even in the past, had had troubles with keeping his or her spot.
And so, that was the war that started everything. I was in the Academy at that time, being rushed through my classes rather quickly, if I do say so myself. The war between the countries lasted a whole four years; eventually, Konoha and Suna came out triumphant against all odds, and there was a short period of peace. In the meanwhile, I myself was progressing quite quickly through the Academy, pushing myself as best I could. I wanted to be involved in the wars. I wanted to help stop them. I'm an optimist at heart; what could you expect? As a result, I managed to graduate a total of two years early; I graduated at the age of ten from the Academy, and was placed on a team with none other than two Genin who were three years older than me.
As a result, I was often looked down upon, because I was considered top of my class for graduating early. It wasn't through sheer skill and intelligence that I had done so, however; I was truly confident in my ability, and I wanted to change the world. That alone gave me enough determination to get where I wanted. It was a short period of time before the rest of the wars, however, broke out. At ten years old, I was soon shoved into the midst of battle with my fellow comrades, led only as the team we were. We didn't even get a chance at a Chuunin exams; Konoha had decided to invade us, for whatever reason, and we hadn't even expected it.
The heat of battle was a tough one for me, even at the age that I was. I was a skilled girl at that point, still considerably a child in the eyes of most, but I was determined and intelligent. My two comrades were a Genjutsu user and a Ninjutsu and Taijutsu combination user; as a result, our teamwork was rather good. While Akaihou, our Genjutsu user, would constantly distract and delay our enemies, Izuru, the Ninjutsu-Taijutsu combination user, would attack and distract from the frontlines. My job? To take down the enemies from afar. Often times I would hang back, usually further than the rest of them, sniping with my bow whenever I got the chance. As much of a bow user as I was, I was also a fairly strong Ninjutsu user, and that itself was what got me where I was.
We were one of the better teams, though the other two tended to attribute it to my skill rather than their own, modest duo that they were. However, as the war continued on - eventually, for a total of seven years, at the very least - Izuru and Akaihou were soon lost to the heat of battle. I myself was recalled and received a field promotion to the rank of Chuunin; I was only thirteen at the time. I was then set to leading teams in the war, the war that was now called the Red Sand War. However, sadly, Sunagakure no Sato came out on the losing end, and I myself fled with the low numbers of Miyunaji that were left. We fled to the one place that we believed would house us; Iwagakure no Sato. They were happy to help us with what could be done.
There was a two-year time gap in which my studies continued in Iwagakure no Sato. I would perform short missions around the country under our newly instated Kazekage, who was working closely alongside the Tsuchikage in order to bring Sunagakure's numbers back up. During that time, I was quickly promoted up to a Jounin rank, becoming a commander of sorts, though more of a foot soldier than anything. I was one of the better shinobi of them all; tough, determined, and as a lot of people looked down upon, female. I wasn't treated too well by most of my teams; of course, that was only until they began to respect me for my skill. I was a great leader, and a great warrior at that; whether it be long-ranged combat or close-ranged, I was fairly good in either area. I could wield a bow with skill as well as my tessen and my uchiwa; those three weapons alone made me quite deadly for who I was.
However, Konohagakure was quick to attack us again in Earth Country, though this time we knew it wasn't quite going to be the same. I was placed on a team with none other than both of my parents; our job was espionage and sniping of oncoming teams. Armed with radios and messenger birds, we were placed in the three towers in Iwagakure that were on the frontlines. It was our skill that helped us reclaim our land partially back. However, Konoha was persistent as always. They were constantly pushing to reclaim the land. It wasn't long before I was needed elsewhere in the war, and was moved from the towers to a platoon. The nice part was, during my time in Iwagakure no Sato, I had happened to fall in love with a young man by the name of Kazuki, and he was a fine man at that. The two of us were considered hopelessly in love, and Kazuki, in the middle of the war, even proposed to me. I was embarrassed for the simple fact that it was in front of most of the platoon we were stationed with. Gratefully, however, I accepted.
It wasn't long after Kazuki had put the ring on my seventeen-year-old finger that despair came upon me and my love life. Ambushed by a large platoon from Konoha, most of our members were killed; I myself, with the aid of a medical kunoichi by the name of Akara, was working to save the life of my love, Kazuki. With bloodstained clothing, I brought back the body of my beloved to our outpost, and buried him in deep prayer. I was heartbroken by the event, though I still keep the ring Kazuki gave me with me at all times. It is one thing that drove me to take down as many Konoha-nin as I possibly could. I was angered and hurt that such people would do such a thing; it worked as an inner fire to drive me to my next success.
Once again, I was recalled to a small three-man team, once again placed with my parents. We were sent out as a partial reconnaissance and espionage team; our job was to get in as close as we could and hopefully figure out battle plans and formations from Konoha. However, we were caught. In an attempt to save the mission, my parents both allowed themselves to be killed; I was the only one lucky enough to escape. After that single mission, I had enough skill that I was promoted up to Special Jounin rank, the second highest rank in the village itself.
It had only been four years into that war, however. I was still only in my early twenties by now, and considered a general on the battlefield. I commanded platoons of shinobi and led them into battle; most of the platoons which I controlled received minimal losses. Our job was reconnaissance, for the most part; we recovered prisoners, with almost no losses. The only loss we ever experienced was a single prisoner who had been killed not long after his capture. It was at this point that I fell in love with a young man by the name of Shinji. They call it fraternization when one falls in love on the battlefield, but I didn't have much of a care in the world. Nobody really said anything about it, because Shinji and I were the same rank, but it was still love on the battlefield. I was surprised that I'd been able to do such a thing; my heart still ached for the loss of Kazuki, though I was a strong woman and used my love for him to drive myself forward.
Together, Shinji and I commanded two platoons that were to wipe out the eastern watchtower that Konohagakure was occupying. That, however, was where we were met with disaster. Shinji's whole platoon was wiped out, along with most of mine. I myself was gravely injured; it was only thanks to a small portion of our platoon and one skilled medical ninja that I actually survived. At that point, I was released from active duty until my wounds healed, which was over the span of about a year. By now, I was twenty-three years of age, and while out of active duty, I was quickly promoted to S-Rank status for when I would finally return to duty.
Returning to duty at the age of twenty-four, I was put in command of a number of platoons out on the battlefield, becoming the main general for a number of commanding Special Jounin out on the field. From a distance, I gave orders and picked the best possible courses of action there could be; as a result, those platoons received minimal losses in the field. When it came around the time that I was twenty-five years old, the war had been finished. However, it had ended rather sadly in the death of our Kazekage, as well as the wiping out of the rest of the Miyunaji clan. I was the only survivor left in that war from the clan, and a proud one at that. Sunagakure had been able to reclaim its land, thankfully, though our Kazekage had been lost in the fight.
Decided by the council, I was promoted at age twenty-six straight up to the rank of Kazekage. I was thrilled to see such a thing; however, I made sure not to let the power get to my head. It was then, however, that I made Kazekiri, my greatest weapon. It took me a period of a year, but after a while, I managed to finish it, and it became the symbol of my heritage. I had endured great losses in the battles, and had become a woman who had shut myself in emotionally, at least with my heart. The loss of Shinji hurt me deeply, but I didn't allow it to cloud my vision; Shinji had died for good reasons. Sunagakure was back in its rightful place, and now it was my job to turn the tables to a bright future for the village."
[Battle Information]
Class: SSS-Rank [Kazekage] Village: Sunagakure no Sato [Kaze no Kuni] Elemental Affinity: Fuuton - Wind Release, Katon - Fire Release
Main Fighting Type: Ninjutsu / Weapons. Reinja commonly uses a bow to fight as well as a few other items, such as a kouchiwa fan and a tessen.
Main weapon(s):
Kazekiri - Wind Cutter Kazekiri is Reinja's most prized weapon. A bow crafted out of the finest wood and spun flax strings, Kazekiri is also engraved with various seals; these seals represent the five elements. However, there are duplicates of the three elements that Reinja is unable to utilize; Suiton, Raiton, and Doton. This serves as an ability that none other have been able to get down to a T; Reinja appears to be able to use all five of the elements, while in reality, she is simply sealing them into the bow itself. | Required 6 Reflex | Damage - 9 + 1/4 [Strength + Accuracy]
Puncture Shot Arrows These are special arrows designed by the Kazekage herself. Made with a much stronger, pointed tip, these arrows are meant to pierce harder and cause more damage.| Required 2 Reflex | Damage - 3 + [Regular Bow Damage]
Scatter Shot Arrows Another special type of arrow designed by the Kazekage herself, these arrows are designed with special heads that explode with shrapnel on contact in a 360-degree direction in a three-dimensional area [i.e. a sphere]. This makes the arrow that much more deadly in a larger number of areas. | Arrow Damage - Regular Bow Damage | Shrapnel Damage - 3 + 1/8 [Regular Bow Damage]
Tessen The tessen is a small iron folding fan with sharp outer spokes which are designed to look like regular, harmless folding fans. The tessen is useful for melee combat (mostly for parrying and quick slices), fending off arrows and darts, as a throwing weapon, and as an aid in swimming, like hand-flippers. | Requirement - 4 Speed | Damage - 6 + (1/2 Reflex)
Kouchiwa A large rice paper fan designed for a mixture ninjutsu and taijutsu. The user can close the fan and use it as a club. Otherwise they can open the fan up in to use certain wind ninjutsu such as the Fuusajin and Kamaitachi no Jutsu. | Requires 4 Speed | Damage - 6+(½ Strength)
Strengths:
Spoiler: click to toggle ~> Ranged Specialist :: Reinja has, over her short years of life, learned to manipulate and use her bow to a great extent. As a result, Reinja is considered the best archer there is in Sunagakure no Sato, and possibly in the Kaze no Kuni itself. She is able to gauge distances, wind speed, and other various factors with relative ease, giving her a much stronger advantage against ranged foes.
~> High Accuracy :: Having trained for a number of years with ranged attacks, Reinja has increased her eyes to the point of being able to almost never miss a target. It's rare that any of her targets are faster than her, especially with her Torigan activated; she has become a volatile foe that doesn't miss a shot with her bow. This ties well into her ability to manipulate wind chakra, giving her quite the edge in battle. Even if her attack is about to be dodged, Reinja has the ability to change the direction of the arrow mid-flight, which makes her accuracy even more deadly.
~> Espionage :: Due to her bloodline, Reinja is a very good espionage-type shinobi. Her ability to zoom in on the opponent with relative ease and read movements as well as read actual writing from a distance. Not only does this increase her accuracy to an extent, but it also allows her to keep an eye on the village from the various windows around her office, giving her even more than just a bird's-eye view of the entire area.
~> Compensation & Diplomacy :: Reinja's ability to compensate and come to a consensus deal with people is something that is constantly revered in the girl's ability. This particular trait allows her to utilize the utmost diplomacy in nearly any situation; as a result, she is probably one of the only Kages that could easily have herself get along with most of the others. One cannot guarantee that this would work in every situation, but Reinja is willing to compensate with others if it is for the greater good.
~> Determination :: The determination that Reinja possesses both in her abilities as a leader and in her skill as a shinobi is something that is also revered in knowledge of her. Reinja is constantly determined to do what she says; empty promises are an absolute nothing to her. It is rare that she will ever make a promise to something that she cannot keep; however, when she does happen to keep a promise, she will fulfill it to the best of her ability and, sometimes, regardless of the cost.
~> Intelligence :: As the Kazekage, intelligence is a powerful thing to have, and Reinja is considered to have it to a great extent. An opportunist and optimist at heart, Reinja will think of the most creative ways to create the best bonuses from a situation, as well as make sure that lives are not needlessly lost in the process. This ties in directly with her determination, giving her a determined and intelligent edge in battle as well as other various decisions.
~> Leadership :: Reinja's passive and listening-type personality is a trait that works well with her leadership skills. Able to lead and use her status advantageously and for the greater good, Reinja is a remarkable leader, which is obviously the reason that she was the one chosen for the position of Kazekage. This ability as well as her ability to compensate when it is for a good cause allows her to lead usually without fail; however, there are always the occasional mistakes, but that is only to be expected of someone who is simply human.
Weaknesses:
Spoiler: click to toggle ~> Low Strength :: Compared to a fair number of other Kages, Reinja has a considerably low strength level overall. With little to no bodily muscle, she is not the type for close-quarters combat, especially with Taijutsu and other various close-range weapons. While she could easily take down a Chuunin or even possibly a Jounin, she would be considerably no match for anyone of a higher rank than that if it were to come down to a confrontation.
~> Kindness :: Reinja's passive personality and lack of a will to actually kill is a downside that could possibly be troublesome. Always wanting to avoid a death as much as possible, Reinja finds it hard to kill other people; rather than being a mindless killer when it comes down to battle situations, Reinja prefers captives over deaths any day. This could possibly get her into a lot of trouble in the long run.
~> Spiders :: Reinja is terribly, terribly afraid of spiders. Living in Sunagakure no Sato, spiders were never something that ever really existed; as a result, Reinja has become a notorious arachnophobe. At times, she has been known to faint at the sight of large spiders; she claims they simply 'gross her out', and will usually squeal and freak should she see one. However, this is one fear that she doesn't seem able to overcome.
~> Young Age :: Being one of the younger Kages of them all, Reinja's young age does take a toll as a weakness. Though she has clearly seen the heat of battle and even graduated early, her mind is not quite as wise as a number of others that exist in the other positions as Kage. As a result, Reinja may not always make the wisest decision, and is often lacking in the wiseness department; however, this is often countered by her speaking to elders and conferring to get a wise opinion on situations.
~> Genjutsu :: As a fighter who utilizes weapons, speed, and elemental Ninjutsu rather than illusions, Reinja has become both considerably susceptible to them and almost under-average for a Kage utilizing them. Rarely using them, Reinja's ability with them has become rather terrible, and while she can easily pick out lower levels of the jutsu branch, she does not always find herself working well with the higher ones.
~> Uncommitted :: While it might not be a weakness that could be easily exploited, Reinja's inability to commit to a real, personal relationship with a man is still considered a weakness. Due to the trouble which she has experienced in the past with both the loss of her family and two lovers during the wars, Reinja is afraid to commit simply because she feels herself to be a walking danger magnet. She feels that if she were to do such a thing, it would only cause harm for her wounded heart and for anyone protecting her.
~> Danger Magnet :: As strange as it may seem, Reinja tends to be a danger magnet at times. She has been known to attract some of the worst of situations, and while it can be considerably a good thing for her mental state, at least in the intelligence, experience, and wiseness department, it is not always the best of things for those who are around her.
~> Minor Klutz :: In more out-of-battle situations, Reinja is quite the klutz. Being seen tripping over her own two feet or the most inanimate of objects, it isn't an uncommon thing to see the young Kazekage violently swinging her arms to regain her balance. This, to her, is a rather embarrassing point, though it somehow seems to control itself in battle-type situations. Running into walls or other stationary objects [or sometimes even non-stationary ones] isn't an uncommon thing, either.

This is used to confuse the opponent momentarily and create an opportunity to attack or possibly escape. | Chakra- 15 | The user's speed is increased by 4 when switching locations with especially prepared object that is within 1' for every 2 Control the user has. | E-Rank | 3 points
- Secret Information Cards [Nin Shiki Kaado] A technique which conceals information of an individual on a card. The information is burned on to the cards with chakra and can only be revealed by the user's chakra. Of course, this technique can also be used to store information on a different object and conceal it, like a wall, a door, or scroll. | Non-Battle Skill | E-Rank | 3 points
<D-Rank>
- Cancel [Kai] A jutsu that destroys/cancels out an illusionary jutsu on either the user or an ally by stopping his or her chakra flow temporarily. Unfortunately, the process causes a massive "leak" in chakra temporarily, how big of a chakra loss is dependent on the skill of the genjutsu user and the complexity of the genjutsu being used. | Chakra- (1/2 the cost of the jutsu being canceled) + 10 (Per point of Control the genjutsu user has more then you), or -10 per point of control you have over the opponent. Total cost to cancel Genjutsu never falls below 1/4 | You must first realize that you are in a genjutsu through RPing before you may use this.| D-Rank | 6 points
- Explosive Tag Technique [Bakuyaku Sagefuda no Jutsu] One of the more basic jutsu, the ninja utilizes two layers of paper that contain a small explosive and is traced with a large seal. These explosive tags can be detonated remotely, or set up to detonate when triggered. Typically, the exploding notes are set up so that they explode when something comes near, the note is touched, or a certain amount of time has passed. The tag cannot differentiate between friend and foe, but it can differentiate between sizes, to a point. It is possible to set up an explosive tag that only you can bypass by sending the correct amount of chakra to the tag, thereby suppressing the tag long enough for someone to get through. Any more or any less chakra has no effect on the tag, and one must be aware of the tag's location to send any chakra. | Chakra- 20 (Per Note) | Damage- 15 (Per Note) | The amount of chakra needed to bypass the note is set when the tag is first used and can not be changed later. If the note is set to explode by being triggered, then the chakra cost of this jutsu is paid when the trigger is set, otherwise the chakra cost is only paid when the note is remotely detonated. | D-Rank | Tags have a blast radius of 5 feet | 6 points

<B-Rank>
- Shadow Clone [Kage Bunshin no Jutsu] This jutsu creates a real clone of the user. The clone has the exact same stats as the user and uses the same amount of chakra to perform justu as the user. Each clone will poof after one hit or at will. | Chakra- 15 (per clone) | |May create up to 5 clones| B-Rank | Kinjutsu | 18 points

Elemental Sealing / Fuuinjutsu
Spoiler: click to toggle - Art of Elemental Seals [Soshi Fuu no Jutsu] The ability to seal the elements onto objects or into scrolls is one that is rather unique yet hard to utilize. For one, it is not something that can usually be done mid-battle; it requires a user of that element in order to seal the particular element. It also requires a very skilled seal-master, and such abilities cannot be found very readily. | Req. 15 Control for all Elemental seals.
- Fire Seal [Kahan] This particular seal allows the user, with the presence of a natural Katon user, to seal a particular amount of the element of Fire into various objects. These objects can range from a person's skin, to weapons, scrolls, clothing, or various other tools. The most common, however, is scrolls and weapons. | Chakra - 70 [per seal] | Seals a medium amount of the element forth | 5 posts to seal | C-Rank | 12 points
- Fire Release [Katon] The flipside of the Kahan, the Katon, literally, Fire Release [named after the chakra nature] allows the user to summon a medium amount of the element of Fire from an object. Such objects can range from a person's skin, to weapons, scrolls, clothing, or other various tools. The most common, however, is scrolls and weapons. | Chakra - 70 [per seal] | Summons a medium amount of the element forth | Element is able to be used in jutsu at twice the chakra cost IF it is not their chakra nature/usage | B-Rank | 18 points
- Water Seal [Suihan] This particular seal allows the user, with the presence of a natural Suiton user, to seal a particular amount of the element of Water into various objects. These objects can range from a person's skin, to weapons, scrolls, clothing, or various other tools. The most common, however, is scrolls and weapons. | Chakra - 70 [per seal] | Seals a medium amount of the element forth | 5 posts to seal | C-Rank | 12 points
- Water Release [Suiton] The flipside of the Suihan, the Suiton, literally, Water Release [named after the chakra nature] allows the user to summon a medium amount of the element of Water from an object.
- Wind Seal [Fuuhan] This particular seal allows the user, with the presence of a natural Fuuton user, to seal a particular amount of the element of Wind into various objects. These objects can range from a person's skin, to weapons, scrolls, clothing, or various other tools. The most common, however, is scrolls and weapons. | Chakra - 70 [per seal] | Seals a medium amount of the element forth | 5 posts to seal | C-Rank | 12 points
- Wind Release [Fuuton] The flipside of the Fuuhan, the Fuuton, literally, Wind Release [named after the chakra nature] allows the user to summon a medium amount of the element of Wind from an object.
- Lightning Seal [Raihan] This particular seal allows the user, with the presence of a natural Raiton user, to seal a particular amount of the element of Lightning into various objects. These objects can range from a person's skin, to weapons, scrolls, clothing, or various other tools. The most common, however, is scrolls and weapons. | Chakra - 70 [per seal] | Seals a medium amount of the element forth | 5 posts to seal | C-Rank | 12 points
- Lightning Release [Raiton] The flipside of the Raihan, the Raiton, literally, Lightning Release [named after the chakra nature] allows the user to summon a medium amount of the element of Lightning from an object.
- Earth Seal [Dohan] This particular seal allows the user, with the presence of a natural Doton user, to seal a particular amount of the element of Earth into various objects. Katon - Fire Release
Spoiler: click to toggle < E-Rank >
[Katon] Fire Element Resistance Training [Katon Tegotate Keiko] Through this method of training the user can develop ways to resist full damage done by the element of fire. Through training the user will burn themselves many times, as an effect their skin thickens with calluses, they also burn small things or perform experiments to figure out just exactly under what conditions will flames burn things. This training does take some time to understand, but this is just a basic form of training. This is something that is only use by people that want to enter into the fire element branch | Passive | E-Rank | Reduces damage from Fire techniques by 3 | 3 points
[Katon] Raise Temperature Skill [Netsu Botsu no Jutsu] A basic skill involving the mixture of chakra, exterior fire and body heat. The user can focus chakra out of the chakra pours to fuel this passive tech. Soon a fire catches onto this chakra being poured out and raises the temperature in the near by area dramatically by dispersing the fire into smaller fire particles. If used long enough, the user starts to self inflict damage. The surrounding temperature will become just as arid as desert. | Chakra- 5 every post | HP Cost- 5 every post | Damage- 5 every post | Passive | Initial Range- 2 feet | Range grows two feet each post. | E-Rank | 3 points
< D-Rank >
[Katon]Intermediate Fire Element Resistance Training [Katon Tegotate Keiko] Through more extensive training, the user learns how to better exist with the licking flames of fire, both hardening their skin to its effects while also training their mind to ignore the pain that heat normally causes. | Passive | D-Rank | Reduces damage from Fire techniques by 3 | 6 points | Requires Fire Element Resistance Training |
[Katon] Oven Skill [Netsu Botsu no Jutsu] Having honed their skill and control over the raise temperature skill, the user now has the ability to concentrate the growing heat. Rather than allowing it to spread own, instead the heat is localized to a 5 foot radius centered on the user and the heat continues to increase every post that this technique continues to be employed. | Chakra- 5 every post | HP Cost- 5 every post | Damage- 5 every post | Passive | Damage and HP cost increases by 3 each post | Range equals 5 feet centered on user | D-Rank | 6 points, 3 points with Raise Temperature Skill |
< C-Rank >
[Katon]Advanced Fire Element Resistance Training [Katon Tegotate Keiko] At this stage, the user learns to alter the flow of their own chakra subtly, causing its very flow to passively cool their bodies. This has the dual effect of allowing them to exist more confortably in hot environments and also provides them further protection against damage from flames | Passive | C-Rank | Reduces damage from Fire techniques by 4 | 12 points | Requires Intermediate Fire Element Resistance Training |
[Katon] Molting Heat Skill [Netsu Botsu no Jutsu] An advancement over the oven skill, molting heat cranks up the temperature to much higher levels. The initial blaze is hotter, as is the end result. Of course, with such compacted heat, the user starts to feel the effects very quickly. | Chakra- 3 every post | HP Cost- 10 every post | Damage- 10 every post | Passive | Damage and HP cost increases by 5 each post | Range equals 5 feet centered on user| C-Rank | 12 points, 6 points with Oven Skill |
[Katon] Heat Wave [Netsu Botsu no Jutsu] An alternative to the Molting Heat Skill, the heat wave skill concentrates the temperature into a compacted point around the user before allowing it to burst out in a small radius. Heat burst occur every other post, trading increasing ongoing damage for the safety of the user. | Chakra- 10 every post | Damage- 20 every other post | Passive | Range equals 5 feet centered on user | C-Rank | 12 points, 6 points with Oven Skill |
< B-Rank >
[Katon] Immolation skill [Netsu Botsu no Jutsu] At this point, the sheer temperature radiating around the user is so intense that breathing becomes difficult, and flammable materials start to smolder, the only thing preventing their combustion the sheer lack of oxygen. Of course, the enemy isn't the only one feeling the effects. | Chakra- 5 every post | HP Cost- 10 every post | Damage - 20 every post | Passive | Range equals 10 feet centered on user | Damage and self damage increases by 5 each post | B-Rank | 18 points, 6 points with Molting Heat Skill |
[Katon] Draconic Rage Skill [Netsu Botsu no Jutsu] An advancement over the heat wave skill, draconic rage further increases the control the user exerts over the concentrating heat, allowing them to let it explode in either a burst centered on them of a more focused blaze in a single direction. | Chakra- 15 every post | Damage- 40 every other post in burst, or 50 damage in one direction | Passive | Range equals 5 feet centered on user | B-Rank | 18 points, 6 points with Heat Wave skill |
Fuuton - Wind Release [All techniques -10% points cost]
Spoiler: click to toggle < E-Rank >
< D-Rank >
< C-Rank >
- Wind Shot [Shotto no Kaze] The Wind Shot is a technique utilized only by archers. By placing chakra along the length of their bowstring and dry-firing the bow, the user can create an invisible arrow made of wind. Because of the medium which the arrow is made of, it is hard to see, and therefore hard to predict. The arrow can also be controlled mid-flight very slightly. As well, the single shot can be split into multiple attacks firing at the same time, giving it an even stronger advantage. | Chakra - 30 [per shot] | Damage - 30 [full shot], 10 [per split shot] | able to make 3 split shots | C-Rank | 12 points
< B-Rank >
[Fuuton] Armor of Wind [Kaze no Yoroi] The user manipulates his chakra and the wind around him to create a whirlwind around his body. The wind forms a circle around the user ten feet in diameter, picking up debris and acting as armor for the user. Debris on the ground, as well as projectiles thrown towards it, becomes part of the armor and merely strengthens it. A taijutsu user is useless against the armor as the ninja will be knocked away or, in a worse case scenario, become apart of it. | Chakra- 80 | Damage - 30 | B-Rank | 18 Points
[Fuuton] Wind Gloves Technique [Kaze Tebukuro no Jutsu] This jutsu causes surrounding wind to swirl around the user’s hands, creating gloves that can rip up opponents on contact. Anything that comes in contact with or goes through the ball of chakra will be cut up by the wind slashing around inside. The user’s hand is protected by a thin layer of chakra resting between his hand and the swirling wind. These ‘gloves’ don’t break when they hit something because the user keeps a constant supply of chakra going through the balls and around their hands. | Chakra- 20 (Every Post) | Damage - 30 (Per Strike) | Normal melee damage is still applied when the user punches. | B-Rank | 18 Points
< A-Rank >
[Fuuton] Wind Element; Steroid Blanks [Fuuton; Renkuudan] The user collects chakra in his fist, summoning wind in a “blank round,” and then pounds it into his stomach, directing the chakra through his stomach and out his mouth as powerful blasts of swirling wind embedded with incredible amounts of chakra that can clear whole stretches of forestry. Even the most powerful of ninjas can’t create more then three blanks in a single battle without destroying their lungs.| 3 shots per thread | Chakra- 65 | Damage - 150 | A-Rank | 25 Points
[Fuuton] Flying Wind Dragon [Ageru Kazeryuu] This ninjutsu utilizes the wind element to form a dragon by lifting their fan to the sky. Clouds form in one post and take another post to transform into a clear dragon shape. It has the ability to fly around for 4 posts before dissipating into nothing. This dragon has 150 chakra and the ability to shoot any of the Wind projectiles the user knows. Lastly, it can fly into a target causing damage before dissipating. | Chakra- 200 | Damage- 90 on final strike| A-Rank | Lasts 4 posts | 25 points
[Fuuton] Storm Beast; Falcon Tornado [Arashi Yajuu; Taka Tatsumaki] Taka Tatsumaki is one of the great 5 element beast ninjutsus, being the one using the Fuuton element. It is technically the weakest and easiest of the 5 to use, but being the only one that can summon multiple beasts boosts its power. After a series of hand seals, the ninja blows their chakra up into the air from their mouth, causing chakra falcons to shoot up into the sky. Being able to fly around, the falcons can follow a person until they actually attack. Once they start to attack, the falcons spin in the air, causing a tornado to come swirling down at the target, the tornado moving like a normal jutsu would. If multiple falcons are used, the tornados will spin with each other, making a larger tornado. Also, if multiple falcons are summoned, they can each attack a different target| Chakra – 70 (per falcon) | Damage - 100 (per falcon) | Can only summon 3 Falcons | A-rank | 25 points
< S-Rank >
[Fuuton] Final Threshold of the Three Calamities: Fire, Flood and Storm [Sansai no Ketteiteki Shikiichi] When a tornado is formed it picks up debris and sometimes other elements. A hurricane is a tornado on the water that has taken up the storm and water below it. Using this jutsu, the user performs it like they would a Grand Slicing Whirlwind, swinging the fan and firing the wind forth. When the tornado hits a sufficient amount of a required element, it takes up a new form. Each element and form is a calamity. | Chakra- 150 | Damage- 150* | S-Rank | The damage listed here is for the normal tornado, the damage for each individual calamity is listed below. The damage listed there replaces the one listed here. This jutsu requires a sufficient amount of an element to actually change. As for natural resources, use only large quantities (such as lakes or forest fires). | 40 points
-Flood: If the tornado hits a body of water a massive whirlpool-like tornado is sent towards the victim. When it hits the ground or victim a large flood is sent forward that could crush or drown the victim(s) | Damage- 400
-Fire: If the tornado hits a fire it would pick up the flames and still be shot forward towards the victim. The tornado would take flame qualities and a "flaming spin-cycle" would ensue. If it hit the ground or victim an explosion would occur and a large fire would be started. | Damage- 500
-Storm: If the tornado absorbs electricity or a cloud the tornado would turn gray with lightning flashes being seen in the tornado. It would be a thunder storm crossed with a tornado shot towards a victim. | Damage-
Advanced Bloodline: Miyunaji Clan - Torigan [Eye of the Eagle]
Spoiler: click to toggle - Eye of the Eagle: Stage One [Torigan] The Torigan is a technique that is unique to the Miyunaji clan. A minor-ability Doujutsu, the Torigan works like the scope on a firing arm would; the user gains the ability to hone in on their target with their eyes, giving them a much easier target even from a further distance, giving them an easier hit with their accuracy. Although this enhances the eyesight of the user, it also has its connotations. The other senses of the user - sight, smell, hearing, touch - will be drastically decreased the more one's sight is increased. As well, all the Torigan can truly do is 'zoom' the user's vision to a certain point, as if their regular human eyes were looking from that single vantage point. They will be unable to see anything between their physical position and where they have zoomed in to. | Chakra - 20 + 5 [per post] | Stamina - 15 [per post] | User's accuracy when using ranged weapons increases by 3 | User is able to see from 20 meters ahead | D-Rank | 6 points
- Eye of the Eagle: Stage Two [Torigan] New Stamina Cost: 20 | User's accuracy when using ranged weapons increases by 5 | User is able to see from 30 meters ahead | C-Rank | 12 points
- Eye of the Eagle: Stage Three [Torigan] New Stamina Cost: 30 | User's accuracy when using ranged weapons increases by 7 | User is able to see from 30 meters ahead | B-Rank | 18 points
- Eye of the Eagle: Stage Four [Torigan] New Stamina Cost: 40 | User's accuracy when using ranged weapons increases by 9 | User is able to see from 45 meters ahead | A-Rank | 25 points
- Eye of the Eagle: Stage Five [Torigan] New Stamina Cost: 50 | User's accuracy when using ranged weapons increases by 12 | User is able to see from 70 meters ahead | S-Rank | 40 points
- Eye of the Eagle: Stage Six [Torigan] | New Stamina Cost: 70 | User's accuracy when using ranged weapons increases by 15 | User is able to see from 120 meters ahead | SSS-Rank | 60 points
Advanced Bloodline Techniques:
Spoiler: click to toggle - Arrow Summoning [Kuchiyose no Ya] Mostly used by archers, this technique allows the user to seal arrows on to the inside of their quiver. By leaving their quiver empty, this can give the impression that the user is not armed with any ammunition for their bow; however, it is much the opposite. There is no limit to how many arrows can be stored with a simple sealing technique, allowing the user to carry an almost 'infinite' number of arrows [though not literally]. | Chakra - 5 [per arrow] | Self-damage - 3 (per arrow) | C-Rank | 12 points
- Way of the Hunter [Houto no Sono Ryoushi] Being able to simply use the bow is only the beginning of being a hunter. Simply utilizing the bow is nothing compared to what can truly be done; learning to utilize it properly and with sufficient skill is the way one must begin. Simply being able to nock the arrow, draw back the string, and release only scratches the surface of what can be done.
- Hunter's Wood Lore [Mokuzai Chishiki no Ryoushi] Once someone has begun to grasp the skill of using a bow, they become familiar with its workings and other various things. Learning to craft their own weapons, be it arrows, bows, or bowstrings, is the first part of increasing one's knowledge. | +3 Base Bow Damage | D-Rank | 6 points
- Herbal Remedy [Ryouhou no Habu] A rather unique ability for the Miyunaji clan, this focuses more on the point of countering poisons rather than using them to harm others. As the use of poisons is rather useless for a Hunter, using the herbal remedies around you for various wounds, poisons, and other things is a useful bout of knowledge. | Stamina - 1 [inc] | Damage Healed - 1 [inc] | Poisons can be countered at a cost of 2x the points value of the poison out of their Stamina pool | C-Rank | 12 points
- Eviscerate [Gatto] Knowledge of the bow is one thing, but knowledge of one's arrows is another. When one has learned to properly utilize the arrow with the bow, they will be able to cause even more damage than usual. Eviscerate pertains to the ability to pierce deeper and, with enough force, possibly disembowel the opponent if the strike is just right. | Attacks pierce deeper [RP purposes only] | Stamina - 3 [inc] | Added Damage - 4 [inc] | B-Rank | 18 points
- Volley [Seisha] The ability to attack multiple times with a single weapon is one that is rather useful. By increasing one's ability, the user is able to successfully nock and fire three arrows in a linear fashion along the bow, giving them a much higher chance of hitting a target. | Stamina - 30 | Able to fire 3 arrows simultaneously | Addition Arrows - 1/2 regular damage | Center arrow - regular damage | Cannot be used in succession with other attacks. | C-Rank | 12 points
