Fire Country (IC)

Konohagakure
The village hidden in the leaves. The name leaves a taste of bitter irony in the minds of those who remember its once lush forests, most of which were demolished in both the wars and the mobilization. Fuel to the fire, one would say. The village itself no longer consists of the bright happy colors that it once wore, instead having been replaced by more functional browns and greens, and several sets of walls now cross through the village giving it numerous fall back points in case of attack. Due to the most recent altercations with Rock, all earth and rock for a considerable area and depth around the village has been replaced by a thick ancient shelf of fire resistant wood.

Caverns of Life
The caverns of life are a network of caverns crossing through the ancient wood beneath Konoha. The wood itself is alive, part of a single massive tree whos limbs are all of the trees and plants in and around Konohagakure. Found within these caverns are emergency bases and fall back points, as well as moving hallways that allow for quick mobilization to most locations in fire country.

Caves of Fate
The Cave of Fate was an important location in the battles between Konohagakure and Iwagakure . A small contingent of Iwagukure soldiers led a huge force of the Konohagakure forces in to the caverns and away from the route they were taking to reinforce the main lines. With the advantage and terrain, the large force that laid in wait would have turned the war had it not been that the cave somehow failed to respond to their Ninjutsu. This cavern lies on the border of the neutral and silent Land of Iron. Some say the caves themselves are alive.

Forests of Illusion
A work of art in of themselves, the forests of illusion confuses all senses with a mixture of complex genjutsu, mild toxins and shaping ninjutsu. The end result is despite the lack of a thick, lush forest that once was and the broken land having been replaced by thick, vibrant wood, to all senses it still is a forest. The breath takes in the scent one would expect, the eyes take in the sight. If reality is determined by the one who experiences, then the forest is very much alive in all its glory.

Water Country (IC)

Kirigakure
Recreated over the years by a long established military and regal traditions, it's architecture has a fair amount of western influences; based around castles, towers, and spires. The finish of the structures are of high quality and craftsmanship. With every stone perfectly in it's place, the village has a crisp, almost clean look. Due to it's position, the village acts as not only a military production area but a direct sea-based trading hub for surrounding countries.

Dreamland
Set as the middle island between Kirigakure and Isle of the Damned, the isle is a metropolis. Out of the three civilian heavy islands, Dreamland is the second most prevalent of Water Country, following behind the government juggernaut Kirigakure. Since opening it's sea ways to the four shinobi nations, it has revealed a booming network of all things foreign. From exotic foods to trinkets to numerous festivals, nearly everything exciting is sold and done here with the exception of military arms. Connecting to Kirigakure is the Artisan Bridge located on the eastern corner of the island.

Isle of the Damned
Once known as the Isle of Forgotten Saints, the island was once an experimental ground for Yhtil Ry'till. Since his disappearance, the monstrous creatures he has devised still roam the accursed land, fanatically shouting and praising their creator. Purging of these monstrosities have been proven a difficult task due to their strength and the other worldly mist that lingers. The mist warrens untold levels of madness on those who dwell in it.

Scarlet Asylum
The farthest island away and smallest, the Scarlet Asylum serves as a massive jail to criminals of it's neighboring islands. Only accessible by boat, a small patch of land with a corresponding iron draw bridge is the main method of inserting criminals and enemies of the country. Inside, one would only describe such swampy scenery and smell in one word: Hell. Held once a year, an annual event takes place where inmates are pit against one another for the ultimate prize of freedom. It's a grisly game designed to entertain privileged deviants from around the nations.

Earth Country (IC)

Iwagakure
A for-shaken village which is barely functioning at this point. In a great valley sandwiched between mountains. The place where the village used to be was actually a mountain at one time but it was riddled down, bit by bit, year by year until they descended into the valley. Now the village is in shambles unable to really sustain themselves.

Joukuu Mountains
A massive mountain trail which surrounds the village on all sides. The mountains are incredibly high and most of them have snow on the tips year round. They are difficult to get through without previous knowledge or even someone's help. They are the villages main defense and are probably the only reason why the village still exists.

Rifaca Region
To the south of the actual Stone Village is the Rifaca Region. This region is nothing more then a savanna with the occasional person living on it. It has been war torn since the beginning of time and probably will stay that way until the end of it. People here have the genetics of having slightly darker skin then the rest of the world.

Forgotton City
Known as the Forgotten City because it seems the Earth's down times have "forgotten" this part of the world. The small city is filled with lights, gold, and other high buildings and structures. The city is built only for the noblemen and it tends to get a large portion of government funds.

Wind Country (IC)

Sunagakure
Arguably the second largest source of shinobi population, it's stationed in the deserts of Wind Country. Much of the village is carved out of the terrain and a perimeter keeps the sandstorms from disrupting village life.

Expanse of Tears
The desert between inhabited lands which is still claimed by the land of Wind has become particularly dry. Periodically when it actually rains, small streams and creeks appear in beds which have long since been disguised by the dunes giving the appearance that the land is crying.

Quicksand Caves
Once a thriving metropolis for the citizens of the wind, these caves still house numerous monolithic pillars and statues that, in many places, remain untouched by the sands of time. However, long ago, the war drove the citizens from their homes, and the tunnels are now occupied by ravenous wild life and refugees. As a result from the lack of up keep, the caves are relentlessly bombarded with a flow of sand from the desert above.
