Okay, I've been chatting with Chaos via text messages over the phone. We both really wanna get an RP going, however, as you can probably see, we're severely lacking in members here >.>. I'm also reminded I gotta get a banner made -__-;. Anyways, after so many RPs I've participated in/made in the past, it's apparent to me that in order to have a balanced, good RP, we have to balance things. What I mean by this is that having all Guy RPers or all Girl RPers seems to create an inbalance 90% of the time, assuming it's not 100% >.<. So, if we get an RP going I was discussing with Chaos that we'd need (since I wanted like 10 + RPers) about 4 girls/6 guys. Doesn't have to be exact but similar to have some balance going. I'm not sure WHY having a balanced of guy/girl RPers seems to create a much better balance, but it apparently does. I remember Chaos's Yugioh RPs (damn I miss playing Joey lols) and the main RPers were Me (Guy), Master-Marik (Girl), Chaos (Guy), and Death (Girl). Guess what happened? Those rps were like, the best ever, and the rps didn't die! We actually completed a majority of them, that is, until some people weren't signing on as much and had other things they needed to do. That just leads me to believe a balance is needed. Now, you're probably saying "I read all that, what exactly are you getting at?" Okay, I would like people to bring in some RPers if they know any. Also, they really need a decent amount of RP experience o_o;. Since I've tried more than once to locate some RPers like this myself, and failed, I'm trying to see if anyone here knows anyone that fits the bill. If no one knows anyone like this, but has suggestions on how to find good RPers, post please, because I'm really brain dead on this X_X;. If we do manage to get enough RPers, I imagine we'd be doing TEP (The Eternal Pendants), a past RP that had great potential but just never took off. Well, that's all I have to say, for now, I'm sure Chaos will add on/comment with one of his own posts =P. So be prepared to have what I call "A Timeline Scrollbar" XD. |

I think we should try Affliction again too, since we made that one with not dying in mind. Mashi just kinda killed it >.< that, and it was pwn. |

Mashi killed alot of RPs dude. Then you couldn't hassle her to post or even bring it up once or she'd hit you with her "heart condition" which we now know is fake -__-;. It's why SSQ4 died =/, and SSQ3, and alot of the SSQs. Same with Bleach, so, she pretty much killed every RP if you think about it... But yeah, totally, i just planned on TEP, but that definitely doesn't mean we can't do other RPs. However, in order to do that, we need RPers, hint =P. Edited by Yusuke, Feb 19 2008, 09:12 PM.

Yes, SSQ3 totally died solely because of Mashi, lol. Just kidding  What I have noticed is that we now have this "core" of RPers, which is me, Suke, Rails, Cwing, and Kuru, who are pretty much stable through busy lives. However, RPs with us by ourselves are getting mundane. Same old, same old. I think this is partly the reason that our RPs die. That and the balance thing Suke was talking about. I don't have any real solution to the balance matter, but I know four potential "new blood", unfortunately all of whom are guys. There is that Blizzard Sprite guy who can RP. Then there is this group of three other friends of mine, Zero, Makubab, and Invisible. I'll say its unlikely that Invisible would join; he's always busy as hell. But I got Zero to join CH a long time ago, and I personally know he is very smart. Makubab is also very creative. So yeah... I think I'll reel those guys in. |

I'm not sure if we should try more than 2 RPs to be honest. Usually when we had like 4 going we got overloaded and they all died >.<;. Unless you mean possible suggestions for RPs in general so that way we can decide on one or two that we wanna do? BTW apparently members weren't able to reply to the news topics such as this one. Thanks to Death for letting me know this. *pokes* However it's fixed now, I should probably go re-check the permission masks o.o;. |

I wouldn't mind RPing again, but it would take up way less time than before. Seniors apparently don't get much personal time.

Uh I've seen Blizzard Sprite RP and to be perfectly honest I wasn't impressed at all, but he could be past the *walk up 2 u* sup d00d stage so I guess I'd kind of like to see him again. Oh and I'll rp too if we can actually start off somewhere that isn't in the middle of a 3,000 page epic where I have no clue what's going on. ,_, Some girl invited me to an RP site awhile ago too, so if she ever sign onto msn I'll try and invite her. |

Actually, Blizzard Sprite was just doing that to annoy you. He sort of thought you were an ass, so for some reason he thought acting retarded was a good countermeasure? Not my favorite course of action... |
