Holy crap, I have less than a week of school left before I head off to D.C. for Senior Trip! Also, I have slightly less than a thousand and one lines to keep memorized for the school play, and I have a sudden sprung interest in the '86 cult classic Labyrinth starring former-druggie oldies-heartthrob David Bowie and a young Jennifer Connelly, but that's not quite as important in the long run [with exception to the goblin king]. I can basically count my remaining high school tests on one hand. If I've gotten the extra thousandths of GPA, then I'm the valedictorian of '08, which I think I might have, though I have to check on that. I'm salutatorian, and least. And I don't have to take the English exams because of getting A's in every quarter, which is also very awesome. I know for certain what I'm doing next year for college, but I'm kinda having second thoughts on if that's where I really want to graduate from. I'm enrolled for summer session to get the beloved History of Civ. over with with them, and that college has a lot of great stuff and all. I'm going to graduate from a Christian liberal arts college, that's for certain. A friend of mine is going to Liberty U., which looks pretty good considering their activities and such [e/g, jiu jitsu club], so I'll just see how that rolls. Though before becoming a senior, I didn't realize how many colleges were willing to waive application fees. It's quite nice. Though, my mom tried doing me a favour and filling out an application online that I had already done on paper, thus expelling that little glory and saving me absolutely no work with the rest of the application required in writing. By the way, if your parents insist on doing the FAFSA for you, or ask your assistance in it in any way, make sure to get them at it before May or whenever, and that they remember that little bit of information you told them eight months ago about the stupid thing. Mom finally applied for the dumb PIN today... But that's basically all that's happening in the world of Death. Won't be online at all next week because of senior trip, and wish us all luck. When I get back, you can ask me about the time [roughly, a month ago] we seniors got kicked out of Wal*Mart and pranked cars! |

I have exactly eleven school days left. I don't really have many final exams, but I think I got you beat on those anyways. I have to take the ominous, dreadful, AP Calculus BC test. The "BC" denotes the full year of collegiate Calculus taken in High School. It's a 3 and a half hour test, full of horrors wrought by the people who brought me the SAT. I also have an AP English Composition test the Wednesday after tommorow, which is similarly three hours, only I need to do multiple choice along with writing three essays in two hours. However, I took AP Literature last year and passed. Whatever questions they can give to me this year are completely irrelevant, because poetry is harder than prose, let me tell you... Wow death, you totally beat me on difficulty on the play. I already performed mine, and everyone complimented me because they could always hear what I said. Apparently I have a good stage voice or something. But I had nowhere near a thousand lines... |

I'm basically the main character, besides the star of course: Robin Hood. I represent Prince John, who was omitted for whatever reason and replaced by my character. But everyone agrees that the Sheriff and Friar Tuck are the best characters [the actors are brothers IRL]. Friar Tuck even temporarily plays the part of Gandalf! Yay! |

The ad-libbed version. ![]() Got back from D.C. yesterday. What a trip! Much too short though. Much too short. |
