This is part of Panglao beach where we almost got "scared" to death. Grin On the lighter side I've never seen Mangroves up close and this made me love these plants more. If you would notice the left part is a bit thicker than the right side. It's because locals continuously plant them to increase its number in Bohol. #5 ISO 50 l 21mm l f16 l 1" l CPL l .9 NDGRAD SE l 5DMK2 l 17-40L

MAG-ASO FALLS This is the famous falls where 2 people were killed in a freak accident. Apparently, a flash flood came and in a matter of minutes the water level went high. When we got there, there are no people at all. It just rained so probably the locals and visitors got scared that another flash flood can occur. But still I was amazed with the clear water and its natural beauty. Entrance is at 20/adult. You will be accompanied with a guide/lifeguard. I think the guide is a brilliant idea to keep the visitors safe always. Part of the place is being renovated especially the stair railings and hopefully more cottages will be placed soon. The Bohol Forest is a man-made mahogany forest stretching in a two-kilometer stretch of densely planted Mahogany trees located in the border of Loboc and Bilar towns. Before and after this man-made forest are the naturally grown forests of Loboc and Bilar which are thick with a kaleidoscope of green foliage, different species of trees and giant ferns lining the road. The man-made forest stands out because of the uniformity in height of the big trees, the spread of its branches, thickness and design of leaves. Seedlings abound around the older trees. Trunks, some thick and others just a few months old, grow resplendently straight up towards the sky which is obscured by the branches and the thick leaves. (http://www.bohol-philippines.com/mahogany-man-made-forest.html) this is where i got a lot of mosquito bites that up to now is still itchy! darn! Grin haha need to bring off lotion next time haha! Super Typhoon Peping (Parma international name) will hit Luzon with winds upto 245kph late Friday or Saturday. Let's all hope for the best! Please be safe everyone! Looking at Nature, water in motion to be exact, somehow depicts Human Character. Filipinos no matter how tortuous the path is, we still manage to go through it all and smile. Typhoon Ondoy may have left most of us homeless and hurt but I know we will all bounce back! Hold On!
