@Jopox: That panorama of Plantation Bay is a perfect stitch. Did you draw a line on the ground using chalk and align your tripod with it? Or were you on a skateboard and asked someone to push or pull it for you? |

@carlo- nope. i used a 17-40 and just stood on one spot; took 1 shot left, 1 shot center and 1 shot right; overlapped the shots a bit to give the software room to merge the 3 shots. i used Photostitch (comes with the EOS software package CD), and the software did the rest. fortunately, the light didn't change when i took the shots, otherwise, the "seam" where the shots are merged would show a disparity....

@Wedge: The first photo looks great - rule of thirds, contrast, and natural halo effect. Looking up and down as a photographer really helps, doesn't it? Er, what happened to the top corners of the 2nd photo? |
