@fafi sid & dex: lol!

btw ang pcc mo conduct ug lighting workshop.. huhuhu..

para dili ma OT another attempt

tried high key but the background is black.. [stupid!] hahhahhah! still.. even if the background is white.. i think it won't really get the result i want without a reflector to the left of the model or maybe another light.

@leo: dugay na picture? timeless masterpeice.. hahahaha...

para dili ma OT:

share ko ug high key lighting..

basically from what i understand is this

"High key" simply means that the vast majority of tones in the image are above middle gray, including any shadows. Excluding specular highlights, such as catchlights, there usually is detail in even the brightest areas."

it's not overexposure

example

more or less ang basic lighting set up for these type of shots
2 lights on background(white) then one at the subject..
light ratio 1:1:1

Posted Image

happy shooting

p.s. the example is a little over exposed.. but i think you get the idea of the shot

@all: mikemanabat said that through the years, he doesn't calculate the 'math' of artificial lighting anymore. I read things such as lighting ratios, using GN to calculate camera to subject distance, etc. I have no practical means to try them of course, just being curious. Do all of you do this or 'matamatik' pud mo?

since sa pag himo sa TTL I think GN is only used to measure the power of the flash.. unlike before where you calculate your flash and everything.. sa studio lights.. no.. for me mas better gud if imo icalculate ang light.. let's say ang sharpnes from the nose to the ears is f/8 then imo light is f/5.6 ra.. your light cannot reach the ear.. pero unfortunately wa koy lightmeter.. so mag mata2x nalng ku.. huhuhuh.. unless mga landscape, street & ect.. ang tirada.. the camera's lightmeter will do well..
