@dj_dark: (Just commenting(JC)) Is that the view outside your condo? The night sky is Steven Spielberg-ish. So pretty. @abort...: (JC) As much as I'd like to shoot heavenly bodies like this, I think I'd be too chicken to risk wetting my cam. I applaud you and the model though. I hope she didn't catch a cold. Edited by cmontoya, Feb 13 2009, 06:15 AM.

@Fafa p-chan: I'm not sure what the technical term is but if I'm not mistaken, it's called "halation". It usually happens when shooting night scenes especially in polluted areas or where there are 'smoke like' particles in the air. |

@p-chan: (OT) NP. I want to add that that's the reason why land-based big telescopes are in remote areas, deep jungle or desert to avoid halation (one of the reasons, I'm sure there are others to ensure the clearest, sharpest images of the universe). Of course the best place to put a telescope is in space, wala dyud air pollution kay wala air, he he he. |

@p-chan: IMO, it still looks great. It looks like a photo taken from a plane about to land or just took off. I must admit that you and I are a bit similar that we're both self-checkers I'm too hard on myself sometimes but I guess it's something we must do to improve and to avoid complacency. Keep it up bro. (OT) Ikaw man siguro to nakatubag ganina nako when I inquired about the close-up lens
