Welcome to Caribbean Blue!

This forum is still relitively 'young'.
We need more members!

So go ahead and register
and set up your biography!

Don't forget to make your accounts with your initials first,
to avoid complications.
I'll change them to your character's name
when you've been accepted.
(Or re-accepted.)

Don't hesitate to contact me:

via e-mail, PM or even IM if you like!
I'll be more than happy to answer
any questions you may have,
or help you out in any way I can.

Caribbean Blue has an 'account per character' system. This means that each member has multiple accounts, according to how many characters they have.

When first creating an account, we'd like it very much if you'd choose a username containing only your initials (first, middle, and last). If you have more than three, just choose three. If you have less than three, just make up some more. This is a good way for us to know that the person behind your account is an actual human, and not a spam bot. Those things are annoying.

After you've written out an application for your character, and it has been accepted and stamped by the admin, your username will be changed to the first and last name of your character. If you decide to create another character after that, simply go through the same process as before, and you'll do fine!

Here's an example, incase you're still confused:

- Bob comes upon Caribbean Blue, and, seeing how awesome it is, decides he'd like to join.

- He reads through all the info, then decides to sign up.

- In the 'username' field at registration, Bob types in: RPS (these are his initials, which stand for Robert Percival Smith)

- Bob, after successfully registering, hops (figuratively) over to the 'Biography Submissions' forum. He copy and pastes the required bio format into a new thread of his own making. He titles the thread 'Wallace Thornberry', his character's name.

- Once Bob completes the form, he clicks 'post topic', submitting his application to the forum, awaiting approval.

- An administrator reads Bob's character biography. She finds that it is quite satisfactory, and as such, marks Bob's post as 'Accepted'.

- The administrator then proceeds to the admin control panel, changing Bob's username from 'RPS' to 'Wallace Thornberry'.

- A few weeks later, Bob decides that he'd like to make a new character, this time a Pirates of the Caribbean canon.

- He creates a new account in the same fashion as he did before, with the username 'RPS'. After that he does exactly the same thing as before, only this time he fills in his character information according to the character 'Commodor James Norrington'. An administrator does the same thing as before too, unless for some reason she feels that Bob should edit his application in some way. Otherwise, she accepts the character and changes Bob's new account name to 'James Norrington'.
