Good luck ... sounds like it'll be more difficult to garner tickets given that there's a lottery. BBC Children in Need Rocks the Royal Albert Hall Every year, BBC Children in Need creates magic moments that raise huge amounts of money for disadvantaged children, and this year the UK's finest musicians hope to help raise more than ever with a spectacular show at the Royal Albert Hall. For BBC Children in Need 2009, Gary Barlow and Take That are adding to the magic by inviting an all-star line-up of rock and pop's finest, who in total have amassed over 50 UK number one hits, to take part in BBC Children in Need Rocks the Royal Albert Hall. The star-studded bill includes; Lily Allen; Dizzee Rascal; Dame Shirley Bassey; Leona Lewis; Paolo Nutini; Mika; Snow Patrol; Cheryl Cole; Katherine Jenkins and Muse. And of course Gary will also perform on the night with his Take That partners, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, as they again show their unwavering support of the charity. And there will also be some very special surprises on the night. "It's fantastic to be able to kick off BBC Children in Need 2009 in such a special way," said Gary Barlow, "I've always wanted to do something like this and I can promise a night to remember, a night that will, I hope, play a small part in changing the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK." Radio 1's Chris Moyles will host the event and will be joined on stage by Peter Kay, Fearne Cotton, James Corden and, the legend that is, Sir Terry Wogan, who will help introduce the stars and remind us of the work that BBC Children in Need carries out in the UK. The concert will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday 12 November and will be part of a week of Children in Need related programmes when it is broadcast on BBC1 and Radio 2. All fans will have a chance to buy a maximum of two tickets by registering their details at www.seetickets.com/childreninneed . Tickets will be allocated through a ballot that will remain open from 7.00am, Friday 16 October until noon on Tuesday 20 October. Successful applicants, drawn at random, will be notified by email on Wednesday 21 October. Tickets for the concert will start at £50. The show will be broadcast on BBC One in the weekend before the main BBC Children in Need Appeal on November 20 and coverage of the concert will be repeated on BBC Three, Wednesday 18 November at 9.00pm with highlights, presented by Kate Thornton, on Radio 2, Thursday 19 November at 8.00pm. Viewers and listeners to the show will be invited to donate to help raise even more money. |

See Tickets were the agent for the Anfield concert. I know this is a bigger bill, but I managed to get tickets at the Royal Albert Hall, which is not huge, for things a few times. |

That sucks ... since you'd been having trouble I tried to register using the 5 number zip code and got the same message, tried adding the 4 extra digits after the first 5 (for me that's 2400) but got the same message -- invalid US zip code. You could try emailing them at pudsey@bbc.co.uk or calling them ... here's a link to a page with several different numbers you could try: http://www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey/aboutus/contactus.shtml |

Tony, put in a UK postal code. I've read on some traveler sites where they just put in some hotel postal code for things like this. |

I got it. Tried out of curiosity but it worked for me. I just put in my 5 digit zip code after putting in the US. Unfortunately there is no way I can go. Maybe one of you can have my code. |

Sometimes when I go to enter my zip code to get yahoo or comcast to adjust the weather feeds for my area I have to do an extra step to confirm that I'm where I'm at ... there's some place in Mexico that has the same zip code as mine in Washington state and another in Germany that also uses the same code. I'm figuring that might have come into play with mine. Glad to hear that Cathy was able to get in on the lottery, at least we know that it was supposed to work for US postal codes ... |

You know things happen for a reason. Much rather go to Amsterdam or Paris for a full show so maybe. |

I cant seeing him doing much of a setlist for this one so maybe one of the other dates will be of better value to wait for. |

I agree with you, Dani. More artists on the bill and it sounds like the others would be Paul concerts. |
