Global Defence Initiative and Western Coalition Non-Aggression Pact
It is within the bounds of friendship and respect that the two alliances named above, henceforth knowns as 'the signatories', sign this pact of non-aggression.

I - Sovereignty
This treaty does not impede the sovereignty of the duly appointed leader and government of each alliance. This treaty cannot be used as a means to overthrow or somewhat destabalise the sovereigns of either alliance

II - Respect
The signatories agree that for such a relationship to work all members of the signatories alliances must be civil and respectful at all times with each other. This treaty condemns any offensive exchanges between alliance members and encourages suitable consequences for those that participate in such activities. This clause does not, however, legally bind either signatory into any specific conditions with regards to treatment of those who break this article.

III - Peace
At no time will either of the signatories engage in war with the other on cybernations. War, for the purposes of this document, is defined as any military action involving a visible declaration of war on the cybernations war screen, the aiding of other nations to declare war on the other alliance, the launching of spy attacks on the other alliance and the passing of compromising intelligence on the other alliance to other individuals or entities.

IV - Support
During times of war neither of the signatories are obliged in any way to help or condone the military actions of the other. This treaty does not provide a provocative link for war to be declared on both alliances by itself. However, if aid is passed between signatories at this time or the sovereigns of either signatories announce support in a public forum then this is an acceptable provocation for the aggressor.
In addition to this, this treaty provides a grounding point from which both alliances can work to integrate trading and aid programs between them, to provide mutual strengthening and growth. Members of the signatory alliances are strongly encouraged to trade and aid each other.

V - Public Record
After signatures have been collected both alliances must agree to announce this treaty on a public forum and let it remain their until such a time as this treaty is cancelled or is deemed null.

VI - Cancellation
In the event that one or both of the signatories cannot uphold this treaty any longer they must contact the sovereign of the other signatory alliance and allow 48 hours for the treaty to become ineffective. After the 48 hours a public announcement must be made to confirm the cancellation of the treaty on public record.
This treaty is automatically null and void if the treaty is upgraded or replaced. In this case no announcement need be made.
