Hello I have been training for powerlifting since 2013. Started training twice a day on most days for about 5 months now. Been on and off the "Bulgarian Method" for about a year (squat every day to a daily comfortable max - 90% of true max). Switched to olympic weightlifting 2 months ago, stoped doing everytihng else and just snatched, clean n jerked and high bar squat. Had some minor nuisance around the right knee joint about 3 weeks ago. Didnt do anything about it, apart for foam rolling and stretching, i could still lift, so i did. Eventually my left knee started bothering me, so i went to a orthopedic doctor, had a scan on my knees and he said i have Chondromalacia. He said i can still train very lightly, but i feel lost, i dont want to stall my progress and i dont want to walk like an 80 year old when i am 30. I have spent almost two days just web searching about the condition, some websites says "forget about the squat" others say keep squating and the pain will go away. Has anyone had any expreriance with this? What should i do? i want to keep training, i love squating and i love weightlifting. I have posted my knee scans, for anyone who has clue about this kind of condition. Any help appreciated. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. reference: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/4654154 Cloud Storage marketing |
