Has anyone ever felt like they've had their heart broken by a guy who you're not going out with? (and have never gone out with him for that matter) or is it just me?  man my love life is messed up atm...

mhmm...sometimes, don't you just both love and hate the way you feel about someone? but the thing is, I don't even see this guy! It's ridiculous...the last I saw him was the end of August, and I've liked him since then but...we never see each other! We just text loads.
Care to share? You don't have to if you don't want to... |

I am friends with this girl... however... it's complicated. I really like her, yet she has sooo many traits I hate in a girl. It's interesting. I liked her since 7th grade, and she knew it, but I dunno how she feels about me. She never really said. When I first met her, she was sweet and nice.... and now, she is unstable, condescending (and a bit rude), angry... yet I still like her. But doesn't feel the same anymore... Really no idea what the hell I am in... |

Yeah I know what you mean...but it is a little fustrating not knowing how they feel. The guy I'm agonizing over (if you can call it that...more like thinking about 24/7 which is a bit pathetic) is really good friends with me and he knew that I fancied him back in August and I always knew he didn't fancy me. We were both actually fine with it but recently, things have become complicated...I don't know how he really feels... So I can empathize with you there... Yeah...people change and sometimes you don't know if you still like them even though they've changed, or if it's because you've, well, almost grown used to the fact that you fancy them and it's become a habit...and since you're in...year 11 or 12 now, then you know....it's happened to me...although it took me over 6months to realise it... |

Yea, I am in 11th grade now, so we've been friends for over 4 years... Sigh, when I try to get advice from friends, I get even more confused... Life is complicated. Love just makes it even more complicated. I've stuck with her for years now... I have admitted I liked her already... still no response. Though I'd suggest for you to confront him, I shouldn't be the one to talk. My confrontations.... not great. |

Yeah, I know what you mean. Friends are great and everything but sometimes they just make you so much more confused. It is indeed. Although, when did you tell her you liked her? Because most girls will tell a guy if they don't like them in that way (well, I would anyway) and if they don't say anything then it either means that they find it surprising and hope that it was a 'slip of the tongue' and that you don't mention it again, or they don't know if they like you back. It depends how long her response time is... I know...I might do but I can't seem to pluck up the courage...and I don't want to mess up our friendship...and my confrontations aren't exactly great either -_-" |

i told her... shortly after I met her... so yea... she asked if I was serious, and I confirmed it.... still waiting lol... So no idea if I should move on or keep waiting. |

Oh...I would say move on since it has been 4 years, but I'm a little reluctant to say much because I don't know how much you like her or what your friendship with her is like... Oh and I'm a little confused...do guys always mean what they say? This guy is saying stuff but I don't know if he means it...I like to think he does, but... |

Fact of life: Guys are stupid. We don't understand women. really. Us guys don't understand at all. We can be blunt, but most of the time, we are stupid. Depends on the guy, but the guys I know are honest, which apparently makes us stupid to girls. Talk to him... and I hope you get what you want. |
