AM3692, you mention Discworld, have you ever read Good Omens? It's a book that Terry Pratchett wrote with Neil Gaiman, parodying the apocalypse. It's the funniest book ever. I finished A Tale of Two Cities last month. The first half was really tedious, but then in the last bits everything comes together and the book becomes awesome. I'm reading The Count of Monte Cristo right now. It's really long, but so far it's been great. Definitely agree on To Kill a Mockingbird. I read that back in eighth grade and I loved every page. And, of course, Harry Potter holds a special place in my heart.
