Frequently Asked Questions - Basic Questions

Q: What is the BxM? Is the BxM classed as a community, or a clan?

A: The BXC is primarily a community with the touch of a clan in it. We are solely targetted at British audiences (which means you're English, Welsh, Scottish, or Northern Irish).

----

Q: Do you accept members from the Republic of Ireland, United States, and nationalities of the Commonwealth?

A: We do not accept members from the ROI, United States, Canada, Australia, or any other nationality. The site is for Brits-only (see the forum rules at the top). All non-British accounts we see will be deleted without notice.

-----

Q: I (a new user reading this) have just registered on these forums. Does this mean I'm technically part of the BXC and it's 'clan'?

A: We like to class everyone who signs up to the site as part of our community/clan in some way or another. The community does not have any restrictions (except the forum rules). The CEO (staff group) does request that you keep regularly active on the forums and try your best to get involved, as the staff will wipe zero-post accounts every three months. The forums are a laid-back experience, and we want to keep it that way without being too strict. If on the other hand you are a user and only want to get involved in the basic forum areas, that's great with us too.

-----

Q: What games do you mainly play?

A: Currently, the BXC's main games are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Forza Motorsport 3, and Grand Theft Auto IV. We play any games most of the members have basically, so if a game isn't on the forums doesn't mean that we don't play it (you can also discuss your desired games in the gaming boards on the homepage).

-----

Q: Will you be accepting ROI members in the future?

A: We may (but quite unlikely) accept members from the Republic of Ireland on our forums in the future. If on the other hand that the BxM receives a lot of interest from Irish people (as in more than one), then it's likely that we'll open up membershipto residents of Ireland.

-----

Q: I want to participate in your events, but I'm in a clan elsewhere. Is this possible?

A: Only certain events are open to these type of members (Level 1 members), including Monthly Challenges and our Spec Racing league.

-----

Q: Can I bring my friends along to the site?

A: Of course you can, there's no reason you can't (with the exception of being a British gamer obviously).

-----

Q: Is there any chance you could broaden your range of membership, and accept members from anywhere in the world?

A: At the moment, the BxM is happy to only accept British members. Sorry to say, it is very unlikely we will accept everyone.

Frequently Asked Questions - Membership Requirements

Q: Does the BxM have any age requirements for members?

A: Members must be 12 years old or older.

----

Q: Is a forum account mandatory for members to take part in matches/events?

A: Yes, forum accounts are required for members to officially join up. The BxM (and it's staff) want people to get involved within the forums and/or it's events.

-----

Q: Will you be changing any membership requirements soon?

A: The BxM staff will give plenty of notice ahead of any rule changes relating to registration. This includes changes to the forum rules, age restrictions, and nationality restrictions.

-----

Q: Do the forum staff occasionally delete inactive accounts?

A: It is a policy of the BxM, to remove inactive accounts every two months (approximately). Accounts that either not logged in for two months/haven't made any posts for two months since registration will have their accounts deleted without notice.
