Forgot the show was starting tonight... happy surprise. Fun premiere.. wow, there have been 500 episodes now... Aw, shit, my favorite girl was first out. Tony vs. Sandra was exciting... glad it went the way it did. |

I didn't mind Ciera going home first, especially since it looked like Michaela was the other option. So all of the set-up with Sandra going home on the second vote was just the editors forking with us? That vote didn't even make sense with the way they set it up. But who is Sierra? She's the only one I didn't recognize, which is pretty good for my foggy memory. Not all of these people are game changers, lol. |

I vaguely remember Sierra but I dont recall a single thing she did. I dont remember Sarah. Barely remember Hali. I wasnt a fan of Ciera before so it was ok with me that she went. Michaela clearly learned nothing from her last season and I fear she will go sooner than later but I still really enjoy her. Kinda shocked that Tony went so soon. Not upset about it really but he would have been a fun wild card to have around. The back and forth with Sandra was fun. Debbie.....ugh. I kinda feel like this is the season of the alpha males. It could get really interesting down the line. |

Yeah, Debbie with all of her experience in this, that and the other. I can't tell if there's a truth in there, or she just makes things up out of thin air. I enjoy her for entertainment value, though. I got the sense that Michaela did learn a little something but she doesn't have the will power to execute it. I won't mind watching her self-destruct, again, as long as we get to see her kick ass in at least one challenge. |

I am spoiler free so far, which is amazing as this is already heavily spoiled. (The vets can't keep their star power UTR. :P ) I adore Sandra so I'm glad she survived. Her edit is really REALLY big, especially compared to the past. So the new discussion is whether she changed, the editing changed (it has, over time) or if she has always been this kind of a player and was deliberately edited weakly, as so many female players have been in the past to focus on the Alphas. Glad Cierra is toast - one of my least fave players ever. When I think of the stereotypical millenial I see her. A good cast-review page... http://insidesurvivor.com/cast/season-34-cast I wasn't a fan of Andrea but it will be cool to see her play without Boston Rob. I'm not a fan of culpepper either, or Tai, frankly. Reminder - Hali and Sierra played together. I don't think either was especially a "game changer" but Sierra bears watching, given that legacy advantage. Everyone else will be fun to watch, but I am especially hoping to see Cerie late-game again, with Sandra. It was evil to put her on the same tribe with both Ozzy and JT...who is not aging well, poor ole boy. One of the strongest indicators in the first episode of a late game player is one who is able to ignore the early drama while the dust is settling, and comment about the end game. the girls were the ones with those kinds of comments...the guys are too focused on the next TC and "staying strong???" |

I am completely spoiler free too but I do know there are plenty of them out there. I've seen several links and so far have refrained from clicking. I had the same thought about JT but didnt want to say it lol. He is by far the one who looks the worse for wear though I didnt realize it had been so long since we had seen him last. |

I liked having two episodes in a row. Wish they would do that more often. |

They have been either doing that, or a 90 minute episode. I like it too. Even with all the vets I needed time to remember and get folks straight... |

Bye Caleb. He wasn't really a game-changer, but an alpha like him needs a second chance when he's evac'ed, right. :P Though I was surprised that Tai was so easily manipulated by Culpepper. There are a lot of players still UTR, and I'm assuming after all this time (9 days now) there would have been footage of some to show as foreshadowing if they finished well. I need to rewatch the first episode as classic edgic says the late gamers and winners have subtle focus. Loved JT's plan...the editing on it was odd though. Did I miss a scene of closure at some point? I am still unspoiled but it's rough because the participation is WAY down at the edgic site since so many posters removed themselves after being accidentally spoiled. And there goes my major interest in the show. grrr Edited by KMInfinity, Mar 16 2017, 05:10 PM.

What was JT"s plan?... not remembering... Kind of a bummer that Caleb didn't pass Day 9 again. Oh, well... The two-to-three tribes was interesting... I was maybe a little surprised to see so much (discussed, perceived) 'loyalty' among 'original tribes', since it was ONLY after six days and two tribals... |

JT took his tribe out spear fishing in the ocean then swam back to camp to look for the idol. |

Poor Caleb. I knew I was forgetting something and didn't figure it out until right at 9pm, so I missed the whole episode. |

That was a fun Tribal even though much of it was done in whispered voices. Sad to see Malcolm go. He's one of my favorites. |

That was a fun tribal. Not sure I liked the two tribes coming together to vote. If not for the idol it would have been a predictable vote. I feel like editing is trying too hard to make us believe the vote will go in an opposite direction from where we know its going (in this case toward Sandra and Brad) just so they can have their stupid hashtag moments. I liked Malcolm but I'm ok that he's gone, one less alpha. I still dont know who I'm rooting for. |

Yeah, that was highly manipulated. And apparently, folks are speculating (still unspoiled, so maybe there's more info) they were given "special instructions" before the tribal that we did not see. Hallie: I didn't consent... Meaning, they were told they could share info and discuss with each other...and voting wouldn't begin until they all greed they were "ready" because the producers WANTED the whispering and last minute in-tribal strategizing. And that "surprised" look on Probst's face was acting. But I bet they did NOT think Malcolm would be the victim, but Sandra... hahaha |

But Malcolm is a Good Guy Alpha! As a guy who always sucked a sports, I'm a bit fascinated by these guys who go out there and dominate athletically. That was pretty cool how Culpepper made that comeback for the Reward Challenge but I still don't like him. So was Culpepper misleading JT into making him think they were going after Sandra? I'm still not sure I understand how it went down with Malcolm going home after all of the whispering. I thought Culpepper and JT were working together. |

Yeah there's a lot of deliberately edited confusion for the audience, I guess so that they can build the drama followup in camp. NTOS has Sandra making the case JT betrayed them. I couldn't tell, but I thought I saw a subtitle of JT telling Brad to target Sandra, that Malcolm was with him. I might actually rewatch and note the subtitled dialog, which has often been significant to gameplay and winner chances. Brad seems to be a lot of people's frontrunner, but I think he's the decoy - plus i don't like him. A lot of people also like Sarah's chances. |

Brad Culpepper as the winner??? UGH! I'd rather watch Sandra win for a third time. |

It's not that I think she will win but, at this point, I no longer think Sandra won't win. And it's making it difficult to pick someone else to root for when it feels like Sandra is the star of the show. Perhaps I'll get more clarity after they merge. Has anyone noticed that Probst promoted this season less than others? Someone was claiming he hasn't been as vocal about this season because the men aren't dominating the game. |

I loved Michaela at tribal. I still really like her even though she has no chance of getting to the end. I wonder how bad she really is around camp because they were pretty harsh about that part. I still dont think Sandra will win but she is getting a very positive edit. I haven't paid much attention to Probst. I could see him being disappointed that his alphas are being picked off early though. |

There were some complaints that they didn't show why Aubrey would be upset with Michaela at camp. I missed part of the episode, so I was a bit lost. JT's annoyance with her was likely a desperate strategy to try to take the target off of his back. The thing about Sandra making it to the merge is that she usually sucks at challenges, so their attention might be directed to the stronger physical competitors. Please let it be Malcolm they bring back! |

I've been avoiding any news to avoid spoilers. Are they bringing someone back NOW? or once the RI crap starts. I hate RI. Yeah I bet Jeffy hates that Malcolm and JT went back-to-back. I totally believe he is less than enthusiastic about female winners so that rumor makes sense. |

In the preview for next week, they dropped their buffs, someone was coming back to the island and then there was the Redemption Island thing. I don't remember ever being fond of Redemption Island but because these are all previous players I'm open to the concept of trying to shake up the game. It is starting to feel like they're trying to hard to shake things up, though. |

He said something about 'Exile' Island, but not necessarily Redemption, and the promo touting 'return of a former Survivor' made me think 'surprise guest', not a player in this game... but who knows? Debbie is ridiculously annoying. |

Yeah, "former' is different from "a new player enters the game" which I'd think they would be promoting like crazy. The twists and shake-up are annoying me too. Just old skool stuff is fine by me. |

They pretty much killed any question of which tribe was going to win the IC with all of the time spent on Sandra's tribe plotting against her before the challenge even happened. It was fun to see Cochran but I think Debbie's too arrogant to take his advice seriously. Jeff saying that the losing tribe would get Debbie after their vote made me chuckle. A lose-lose situation for sure. Why wouldn't Tai play at least one of his idols? Was Sandra going home already a sure bet? |

Debbie on Exile... finally, she's in a place where people can stomach her presence... oops, sorry, Cochran... Exciting Tribal. SURE looked good there at the end for Tai going home... fingers crossed he didn't use an idol... d'oh! Sandra got snuffed. 94 days of Survivor. Bam! Big exit... |

I love Sandra. Loved her final words... But I do wonder how much plotting and planning happened before the game and sshhh, actual staging and scripting right now. It sure seems odd that all the winners and big guns are going no matter what tribal reconfiguration happens. Varner's such a huge presence...easy to forget he never even made jury ever. |
