Maybe Kim realizes the grass isn't always greener. Although seeing as how she's spent all of those years with HHM, she may not have experienced that harsh realization yet. I'm sure the guy offering her the new job is no less of an asshole than Howard or Chuck. He couldn't help but bitch at that server for waiting a few minutes for his drink. It's fun to find out Mike's history with the Cousins knowing that he killed the one. I vaguely remember him warning Walt about them in BB. |

I am sure there are many assholes out there however i doubt that she be treated any worse than she was putting in document review. Plus if they paid off school and she got a raise it seems like it would be worth a shot |

A really minor one, but... another was-first-on-BB character last night (I didn't catch it myself, but saw it in comments under Sepinwall...). Jennifer Hasty as real estate agent Stephanie Doswell... here, she was showing Stacey and Mike a house; on 4.3 of BB, Marie stole a mini-spoon from an open house Stephanie was hosting, and at another open house, Marie and Stephanie had a physical confrontation about the thievery. Fantastic montages last night. Love the ties. |

Finale is titled 'Klick' and will be directed by Gilligan and written by he and Heather Marion, who is getting her first script credit, but she's been a writers' assistant for both seasons. Ten different directors - Thomas Schnauz (1), Terry McDonough (2), Scott Winant (3), Adam Bernstein (4), John Shiban (5), Michael Slovis (6), Colin Bucksey (7), Larysa Kondracki (8), Peter Gould (9), and Vince Gilligan (10). Writers were Thomas Schnauz on 1 and 8, Gennifer Hutchison on 2 and 6, Jonathan Glatzer (new) on 3, Gordon Smith on 4 and 7, Ann Cherkis (new) on 5, Peter Gould on 9, and Vince Gilligan and Heather Marion on 10. They MAY have done something really clever again with the titles. Might just be a coincidence, might be... meaningful. 1 - Switch 2 - Cobbler 3 - Amarillo 4 - Gloves Off 5 - Rebecca 6 - Bali Ha'i 7 - Inflatable 8 - Fifi 9 - Nailed 10 - Klick Somebody posted on reddit... if you take the first letters of each title, SCAGRBIFNK, and scramble them... you can make the anagram FRINGSBACK, which, you know, would be pretty damned cool. |

I am one behind and we'll watch both of the last 2probably next Tuesday. I am glad Jimmy screwed with the files however I can't believe that Kim will approve when she finds out. I can't see how this partnership will last with a difference in their philosophies. The other thing that was not true to form was them renting that dental office. No one would ever leave those chairs they cost 10 to $20,000 apiece new and even used would at least bring you a couple thousand each so you would never leave them and if you were going bankrupt you would sell them to a company that sells used equipment. |

I wonder if that was the end of half measures on Mike's part, or if he'll make a few more before he learns his lesson. That's all I could think about when Nacho told Mike that Salamanca shot the good samaritan in the face. Poor Chuck. His utter frustration at the copy store was palpable. I jumped when he hit his head. It would be great to see Gus in the finale but I don't want to get my hopes up, especially with Gilligan saying he was talked out of putting someone in the episode. |

http://www.hitfix.com/whats-alan-watching/better-call-saul-creators-dont-automatically-expect-to-see-gus-next-year Haven't seen the finale yet - was JUST about to start it last night when I got the call from Mom to pick her up from the hospital... yeah, guess that was maybe a little bit more important... But I'm quite anxious to go home and watch it, of course. Soon. |

Finale was great. I wasn't disappointed that we didn't get to see Gus... That 'first contact' felt right to me. DON'T. 'Not today, Hector.' They kept true to their 'more BB people in 2' promise, for sure. Last year, Tuco and a couple of his bodyguards. This year, more Tuco, Krazy-8, Hector, the Cousins, Lawson the arms dealer, KEN WINS... (... and a police officer, Saxton, on both shows; and Mike's waitress friend, Fran... and a real estate agent...) I'm sure we'll get some Gus next season. |

Our cable has been giving us trouble and I have that last two recorded. However the cable guy just showed up and is installing a new box so I'm losing them both. I just looked on demand and they only had 8 of the episodes. I know I'm going to record the last one one Thursday but how do I get episode 9 or do you think it will show up on demand? We have so many problems with the cable here and Cox has been a pain in the ass. One of the issues is our boxes on the street in the house is so far back. They keep saying they will move the Box closer and every guy that gets here says he's putting the paperwork in and it never happens. In the meantime I have to reprogram everything but luckily I don't record that many shows. |

9 should be (or show up on) your On Demand, sure. If not, it's also on amc's site... http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2016/04/better-call-saul-gus-frings-back-title-anagram-finale http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/better-call-saul-season-2-episode-10-finale-interview-vince-gilligan-peter-gould-gus-fring-1201756672/ http://www.ew.com/article/2016/04/19/better-call-saul-season-2-finale-klick-gilligan-gould The return that Gilligan was talked out of putting in the finale was Marie, who might have been the tech giving Chuck his MRI... Yeah, that fits the 'would have been kinda cool, but may also have been distracting from the story'... |

I watched Saul's and Gus' first Breaking Bad episode as a little pre-party, so I guess I did get my hopes up that we'd get to see Gus. But with the way Mike's story was playing out, I figured about halfway through that there wouldn't be any Gus here. I forgot how funny Saul was in his first BB episode. OK, it was Marie. That may have been distracting. I'm a little surprised no one has caught Mike doing all of his spying on the cartel before now. The spot from which he watches that store doesn't seem all that secluded. Love the rivalry between Chuck and Jimmy. Chuck's ruse to get Jimmy to confess was great. Looking forward to see where this is headed next season. |

I haven't had time, but I'm looking forward to re-watching some BB (especially the earliest Saul and Mike appearances, yes). I definitely wondered if Nacho was purposely blocking Mike's shot, but he WAS a really good distance away... Chuck keeping Mom's last words (and that she'd awakened at all) is a whole... 'nother... level... |

There's a dynamic that happens with the first born. My feeling is that one can feel like they're held to a higher standard for approval, if only because the parents usually take a more relaxed approach with each child that follows. Chuck has worked so hard to be the best he can be, then the mother calls out for Jimmy. And I imagine that was a trend Chuck had noticed for a long time. I could feel how that stung him. |

I was not crazy about the last two. I found myself very angry at Chuck and I thought it was extraordinarily stupid of Jimmy to admit that he had changed the documents. Especially after Kim warned him. It also makes me angry that Chuck is such an asshole. I don't know how anybody could be that crappy to their sibling especially when Jimmy has been there every time he has one of his meltdown. They are so different in age they would have been like two different families it seems to me that Jimmy would have been sort of a menopause child. If you look at the actors ages Chuck is almost 70 and Jimmy isn't even mid fifties. It cracked me up when they said male incoming mid-fifties, when Chuck is almost 70 and he sure looks it. I found myself much more interested in looking forward to see what Mike was doing. When he almost shot Hector I thought for sure he was going to have a slight miss and that would be what paralyzed Hector and put him in the wheelchair. So I wasn't thrilled with this season and I was particularly not thrilled with the ending. |
