Loved the staging of the shootout through the windows...

Two more.

This was the best one so far this season. I like that there was no more dialogue with the Chinese villain, just bang. Sad ending though I couldn't figure out why she left. I wonder if Bohannon will be alive after the last one

Yeah, loved how he didn't let Chang finish the thought... Great shocked expression...

"Do not misjudge me". He did.

Mei knew she/they wouldn't be safe from the company - they'd have kept coming for her...

No Mei should have stayed, after all he did to keep her safe she should have known he would have done anything. That was awful that she left him alone.

For Love to win out, sure, but he wouldn't have been able to protect her for the entire duration he's finishing the railroad/race...

It was sad, for sure, but the more honest ending than her staying would have been. This way, I feel like she's not going to die...

He might. But I'm hoping he doesn't...

Deaths of main characters - Elam, Lily, Rev. Cole, Sean, Swede, Ruth, Chang, Maggie... Doc (in a flash-forward)... That's probably enough. Think Cullen, Mickey, and Eva will make it through the next couple hours?

Show is fiction, but I had sorta gotten that impression of Durant in some things I've read. Funny, though - I was reading a for-kids-history-of-the-railroad text to a class and it just stated facts and dates and didn't attribute personal characteristics to Durant at all, but I kept thinking about HoW the whole time...

The show is fiction but Thomas Durant was not, and according to this he was indeed an ass.

Right. I didn't indicate I thought otherwise by

>> had sorta gotten that impression of Durant in some things I've read.

Which would include his Wikipedia entry, of course, as that's our go-to quick-and-easy reference work, sure...

Will watch it tonight I guess. The guy that plays Durant reminds me so much of Donald Trump that I can't help but hate him.

Yes, Wikipedia mentions his greed and arrogance freely. I have been watching some of the new American West series on AMC and they have mentioned him several times in accordance with the building of the railroad. I haven't watched enough to hear about his personal demeanor yet, though I did research him enough to know he died broke as he did on the show.

#13 - End of the race was satisfying, but I didn't fully understand the deal Doc makes with Huntington. The fear of the government reading his ledgers is SO strong (sure, I get that he'd be in big trouble)... He's giving Doc 'Ogden', and that's the same as giving him the whole railroad?.. Yet he manages to keep the government's 'win the race' bond bonus?.. I don't know how that works, legally.

Loved Psalms and his crew switching sides just before the end.

Very satisfying ending for everyone. I loved the way Bohanan defended Durant and his final moment of clarity. I sure will miss looking at that face, right Krystal??
