http://www.deadline.com/2014/02/dmz-syfy-series-dc-comics-david-hayman-jacquemettons/ Hm. I'm not familiar with the comic, but writer Brian Wood was the subject of some bad sexual harassment press recently... |

I am pissed about the split season. I am not that anxious about it. |

Nice article, but somehow I feel an overwhelming sense of irony and sadness that this article about a beautiful, talented actress in her role as a young woman at a particular time, making her own way in a man's world, we see Elizabeth Moss, semi-clothed in multiple shots. Her name may appear second in the credits but I can't remember seeing any photos of Jon Hamm semi-clothed or much discussion of what he was wearing. But good article. I can see why you liked it (multiple reasons). |

Hamm has a great sense of humor, but is/was really annoyed with the great deal of attention the tabloids and internet gave to his 'going commando' ways... (She says she's #4 on the call sheet, and I assume Roger is 2 or 3, but I wonder if it's Pete or Betty that is the other one ahead of her...) |

The difference is we don't see Hamm going commando. The audience doesn't see the call sheet, but does see the credits. I'm just being pissy. It really gets to me that women must somehow display their bodies in order to be noticed. If you don't you are ignored and/or assumed to be uptight and dowdy. The body, face, hair are all quite secondary to the person's talents. |

TGIR, ITA. Don't see any cheescake of the male cast, at all. I love that Moss is unconventially pretty unlike Jones who is cookie cutter blond. |

Agree with the last part, for sure. And yes, we'll sometimes see actresses give in to pressure from whomever to do a sexy magazine shoot that doesn't quite go with what we know of them... In the case of Moss, though, I've seen that she likes to break her 'Peggy' image when she can.. This wasn't something she's uncomfortable with, I'm sure. |

Thanks Dax, for letting us know when Season 7 begins. I am looking forward to the return of Mad Men. I agree with TGIR and others about Moss -- she doesn't have to display her body to convince anyone that she is talented. |

Paley panel participants - Don, Pete, Peggy, Joan, Bert, Megan, Sally. Weiner's not there. They've been on a short break, but start filming the final seven next week. Kiernan Shipka has been working on Mad Men for more than half of her life... Christina Hendricks is in a lovely green dress. Moss gets a fun gentle teasing from the moderator on the New York Magazine 'Has Been the Star of MM All Along' headline... |

No spoilers, of course... interesting to hear some of them discuss their character journeys... most memorable moments... Hamm and Kartheiser really funny and charming, and Robert Morse kept tossing off funny lines... |

I care far less about this show than I used to. i was far more invested in BB or even SOA, or even Justified. I'll watch it but really, if they just cancelled it, I'd be OK. Re: Sally, really growing up. Glad they didn't have her pose half nude... |

I think it's a masterpiece. I've loved every episode, and I'm pretty sure (when it's done) that it'll have a permanent spot in a theoretical Top Ten of All-Time Favorites list. |

I thought the first couple years were, but then, not so much. I am also resentful the way they are milking this last season. |

Splitting the final season of Breaking Bad didn't hurt its quality any. (Only difference is that Gilligan and his team did TAKE another year to produce their 5 part 2, where MM is going to be sitting, waiting...) |

I am annoyed with AMC for the splitting season nonsense...if they did a split to make it air in two television seasons without waiting a full year, it would be less frustrating. |

No cast changes. Picking up from Season 6 almost two months later... it's mid-January, 1969, a day or two before the inauguration. Ooh, I like Neve Campbell. An 'oh, okay, that makes sense' at the end, given how Don-like the pitch Freddie gave Peggy was... Poor Don. Poor Peggy. Terrific opener. |

Neve Campbell! I couldn't quite figure out why I knew that face. Yes, poor Peggy and poor Don. |
