Hockey. Game 5 in LA. First period, Kings get 1. Second period... Rangers score... tied at 1 for a couple minutes, then the Rangers score AGAIN in the last minute... 2-1, them. Third period... Kings score... tied. Lots and lots of back and forth. Overtime. No score. Second overtime... 15 minutes in... Kings win. Cool. 26 post-season games... second Stanley Cup win in three years. |

Dax, it was great that LA won the Stanley Cup -- they definitely deserved to win especially over the Rangers. The sports journalists here in Canada have said from the beginning of the series that NY was playing way, way over their heads in the playoffs and it was only their goalie that kept them in the series. It was interesting that Pittsburgh actually had the best record overall during the regular season, but just couldn't win in the playoffs. Anyway, congratulations to LA!! |

Yeah, their goalie (Lundqvist) is really good. Didn't see much of the Rangers during the season, but saw him be a large part of Sweden winning Silver at the Olympics... |
