I actually hung in there and like the Killing but I would rather see BB first. I really hate to see it end though, really, like more than any other show... |

I would not expect Wlater to end series alive. I don't think he will go to jail, I think he will get killed in a violent act, or the cancer will recur.Maybe Hank will end up shooting him. That would be ironic. I kind of hope Jesse gets out. |

Remember, the first scene of Season 5 was a peek ahead. On Walt's 42nd birthday, he's at a diner, buying a very big gun... I won't predict who lives or dies, but I do think it's gonna be pretty bloody and grim... If there's a happy ending for anybody, yeah, it might be Jesse. |

http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/breaking-bad-insiders-tease-final-season-in-reddit-ama-20130605 This is something many of us so-anxious-for-it-give-it-to-us-now people need to understand. The 8-and-8 split and the year between batches. They needed the time. They USED that time. These final eight episodes took LONGER to write, because they were not easy. 'The end' is hard to write for something this good... |

Assuming there aren't scheduling changes between here and now... the series finale should air on 9/29 (three days after my birthday...). It will be a busy night of good tv... it'd be nice to take that Monday off of work so I can stay up late and watch a lot of it... in addition to the Breaking Bad finale, there will be the season premieres of Homeland and The Good Wife, the series premieres of Showtime's Masters of Sex and HBO's Hello, Ladies, and new hours of Boardwalk Empire (#4) and Low Winter Sun (#8)... |

http://www.thewrap.com/tv/article/breaking-bad-creator-vince-gilligan-saul-goodman-spinoff-moving-full-speed-ahead-101091 Half-hour or hour? Either way... I trust they'll choose the right one. Prequel or sequel? Prefer sequel. 'But we could see Gus if...' They could always do an episode or two set in the past, so that the dead may be seen again. We've seen flashback scenes on BB. |

http://charlierose.com/watch/60247981 Long interview with Gilligan. Netflix now has Season 5 Part 1 up for streaming. (I'll probably re-watch the premiere and finale again... I haven't bought the dvd yet, as money's been so tight...) |

Just finished "Sunset" from S3. Gale recited a poem from Walt Whitman, and Walt was reading a book of Whitman's, which was kinda cool considering where the series left off. Hank follows Jesse to the junkyard where they're about to have the RV destroyed. Walt and Jesse are locked inside as Hank tries to get in. Saul has his secretary call Hank to tell him Marie has been airlifted to a hospital. Hank gets to the hospital and realizes he's been duped when Marie calls him. Gus gives Hank's name to the brothers who are trying to kill Walt in order to avenge Tuco's death. Really good episode! |

Cool opening scene. Made me think Walt will outlive them all, but I'm probably wrong about that. The look on Carol's face was pretty great. Was she afraid he was going to kill her? Still love Lydia. She's such a neurotic mess, lol! Wow, really surprised to get the Walt/Hank confrontation so soon. On Talking Bad, Vince Gilligan explained that they have a lot of story to tell and only 7 episodes to do it. So, yeah, that makes sense. So fun to watch Walt and Hank do their thing there in the garage. And Walt just COULDN'T walk away without pulling that tracking device out. I love how Walt has to dominate a situation. Wish Jesse had driven through my neighborhood! Would have been funny to see the madness that ensued when people started waking up and realizing there were stacks of money all over the place. |

Just so insanely good. Every minute of it. Walt/Hank scene was amazing. Walt/Jesse scene also very, very good. Seven hours to go. Laura Fraser and Jesse Plemons (though he wasn't in this one...) now credited as Main Cast. Jonathan Banks out. |
