>> I can barely remember Victor, much less how he died. Gus. Box cutter. Walt is pondering doing this without Mike. He ought not to do that. Mike taking care of his guys IS the right thing to do, but I can see Walt's frustration with it being an ONGOING expense... still. No, you take over a business, you might inherit overhead from the previous owner... Loved the solution to 'where to cook'. Loved the Walt/Marie confrontation. So... Brock recognizes Walt, it looked like to me. But also knows not to say anything... Someday, I think we'll get a flashback of Brock getting the berries... Wow, Skinny Pete was fantastic on the piano. |

I was wondering about that Victor dialog myself. Dax? Yes, it was not as trong as the first 2 epi's but it is headed in a direction that needed to be told. The way Walt has learned to manipulate everyone is amazing. Off note: Cranston is really becoming a rock star, he stars in the new Total recall remake. |

Walt mentions how he'd assumed Gus killing Victor (in the Season 4 premiere, with a box cutter, while Walt and Jesse watched, which was very disturbing to them both, obviously) was Gus' way of sending a message, but also, maybe now that he's thought about it some more, maybe it was something of a punishment to Victor (um, yes) for having the gall to try to finish a cook. So he says 'maybe he overstepped, flew too close to the sun'. Walt is talking about maybe not needing Mike. Cranston is awesome. |

Cranston is all kinds of awesome. I thought Brock recognized Walt. I wonder if Jesse will find out what Walt did with the berries. I also loved the solution of 'where to cook'. How brilliant! I also laughed at the 'nanny cam' being disabled from our buddy from FNL. LOL ... brilliant! I definitely see some major tension between Mike & Walt. I just don't see this all ending well. I also think Skyler is going to be the one who brings Walt down. I just loved the scene where Walt, baby and son were watching 'Scarface' on TV and the scene "Say hello to my little friend .... pow pow pow pow". Best movie ever and best scene ever. Perfect timing and well played. I just don't want this show to ever end. |

I think the body piercing/tat thing has become the latest 'phase/in-style' thing with the younger generation but like all 'phases' it won't be 'in-style' forever and I think there will be a lot of regret. I personally am not into tattooing and piercings and I could care less what people do with their lives with the exception of my kid. I do know that other people judge and I worry my daughter will regret all of her tats and piercing but it's her life so ... |

Dax, I knew you would come through! Yes, I think Walt and Mike are going to have a head on one of these days. Poor jesse, trying to give Mike his money for the pay offs, he is really not in the same league with the older guys. Walt has become as bad as Mike and his cohorts. Who knows about Skyler, she is really on the edge. I can see the very end being that she turns him in or one of the guys kill him. I don't think he'll die from the cancer, I dunno. I too want the show forever, it is the best. |

God you are good Dax. I had forgotten that but I haven't seen Scarface in it's entirety for a number of years. Definitely need to put that on my to-do list. ;) |

Pretty powerful epi. Skylar is really losing it. Why did Walt feel compelled to move back in when she is so terrified for the kids? She may be his demise. I hate it that the season is so short and we have to wait for the last ones. but then, I will really hate them being the last ones. |

Really? Maybe. Interesting thought for sure. And the perfect thing might be a "suicide" as the stunt she pulled in front of the Bro and sister in law... |

WOW, I didn't think that. I've been thinking that Skyler would be the one that brings down Walt. Very strange episode but loved it. Walt is definitely letting the 'power' go to his head. Nice cars he bought for himself and the kid. How many more episodes left this season and when will they air the second half? I'm too lazy to look it up. ;) |

Food for thought for sure. I am glad he got the kid the car, he is a good kid and has been through alot of turmoil with his wacky parents. |

Really good one! I've have moments of thinking Skylar needs to pull it together, especially since she agreed to be a part of the car wash thing. But I really felt for her with this one. Anna Gunn did a great job conveying Skylar's fear and desperation. And I loved it when she threw Walt's "I am the danger!" back at him during their fight in the bedroom. Great moment when she told him she was waiting for the cancer to return. Even though I know she's trouble, I like Lydia. LOL at Mike saying she was just as deserving to die as any man he knows. Yeah, I've been getting a feeling that Skylar won't make it two the second half of the season, too. But maybe they're just teasing us with that. Hard to say. I do feeling like we'll get a big cliffhanger at the end of this half of the season. Only 4 episodes left, then I think we have to wait a year for the final 8. |

Bilki's right. There's maybe a teensy tiny chance we maybe COULD get those final eight a little sooner than expecting (there will be eight episodes of Walking Dead in the spring - would sure make for eight fantastic double-bills; FX was going to split up the final season of Nip/Tuck and kinda recanted with a three-week holiday break instead of six months or so), but everybody's assuming we won't get the end of Breaking Bad 'til next summer, and they're probably right... Fun trivia - this week's was episode #50, but it was titled 'Fifty-one'. |

I liked that Lydia actually wasn't the one who planted the tracking device. Nice twist. Ok, a little suspension of disbelief with all the this, that and the other that had to be done to pull off stealing the methlamine from the train. It was fun to watch, though. As soon as Todd said something about them figuring out everything, I knew something was going to go wrong....but I wasn't expecting THAT! I think I'm going to have to look around to see how others are reacting. |

Also liked that it wasn't really Lydia. Tremendous suspense on the train heist... no, things couldn't go PERFECTLY, of course, so it's just a matter of 'what'... with Walt's greed at defying Mike's 'Let's go', I was thinking 'Great, now they've got to kill both of the engineers and the good samaritan who gave the push... and then, they're still in danger of losing their stash...' We knew the kid was coming, and that this would set off a debate of what to do (I mean, it's highly unlikely that he'd understand he just saw anything criminal going on...), but Todd saved our guys the argument. Fuck. Eleven episodes left (in total). Three more weeks to this run. - Saw Kevin Smith's 'Red State' last night - interesting, different film with a couple of our Breaking Bad people in it - Anna Gunn (Skyler) and Matt Jones (Badger). |

That epi blew me away. I was very tense at the heist, but the kid, I knew they didn't show him in the begimming for no reason. He would have said something (maybe) and 99% his parents would have ignored him. Poor spider too, hope they let him out! Previews look interesting, Sky is falling... |

I knew they showed the kid at the beginning but by the end I had forgotten about him. The whole train stealing was suspenseful but I kept thinking a little bit unrealistic but who am I to judge. I never stole from a train. I'm not sure why they are telling Walt Jr. (now calling him Flynn .... missed why that changed) some variation of the truth about why he's staying at uncle/aunts. I would go with 'Mommy & daddy are having marital problems and we are trying to work things out". I also don't understand why Walt just doesn't let Skyler go. I'm guessing it's a control issue. This show is so awesome. |

He just needs to move out and tell Jr that they are having a separation. I think it is a control thing too. I don't think the kids are in danger but I wouldn't make a bet on it either. Awsome for sure. |

Boy you guys have to hear this. Today I testifed in a case against a dentist in Albuquerque. He is illeged to have done a surgery which was not indicated (and botched) then gave his patients thousands of oxy pills and valium over the next 2 years rather than refer her elsewhere for treatment. When I brought this up his atty went nuts. On break, my atty tells me the whole city is phobic of being labeled a drug capital because of BB! They are actually monitoring MD's and dentists too. |

I am a dental expert witness, I testify for plaintiffs in dental malpractice cases, of course after review of records and their depositions. I've been doing this part time for 20 years, along with a practice, but I had to close the practice when I fell in January so now it is all I am doing work wise. I get to see a lot of scary shit. |

Hey, where is everyone? Another tense epi but not as much as last weeks. Walter had really dep ended, 5 mil is not enough. He wants the power now. Porr Jesse is a wreck then getting between Walter and Mike, Walter nearly being as bad as Mike now. I predict Walter will start to cook for these new guys now. Then in the last 8, everything will disintegrate. |

Another wonderful episode. Love it. >> Walter nearly being as bad as Mike now. Oh, I think Walt is FAR worse, morally speaking, than Mike. Walt's not going to wanna cook FOR anybody else. He means to be the king. |

Just got back from Chicago and keeping last one to watch the final 2 together next Sunday. Did read the story though, hate to see Mike go, like Gus he added a lot. If the bad guys gotta go, so does Walt before this all wraps up cause he is as bad as the worst now. |

The opening scene was almost painful. Not in a bad way for the show but in a "Are you really saying that right now, Walt?" kind of way. Mike seeing the cops pull up at the park was awesome. Chilling. I got goosebumps both times I watched it. I did feel a bit cheated that we didn't get to see how Mike got out of that situation. I guess I knew Mike was going to die at some point. It felt like something that would happen. But I didn't think it would be this soon. Sad to see him go. He was such a great character. It's weird to know that we've only got nine episodes left, but we're watching Walt trying to build an empire. Feels like there could be so much more story to tell, but there's not. Something big is coming, right? It seems like it has to. But I'm trying to not get too caught up in thinking certain things have to happen. |

I guess Walt's empire building might run FAIRLY smoothly for awhile, as we'll have to have a pretty big passage of time sometime soon... I mean, Hank's investigation is probably dead-ended for awhile... X-of-those-nine shows that are left have to get us a year ahead in the story (to this season's opening scene). Took the first fifty episodes for a year to pass. Only have twelve available (and we've seen three now) for the NEXT year of story... I love Banks and will miss seeing Mike in the next nine (unless there's a fun flashback in there somewhere - fingers crossed for that...). |
