Did anyone watch? I thought it was amazing. The feelings between Cuddy and House, the humor -- Wilson had me cracking up -- and a few surprises. Next week looks to be even BETTER. |

I watched it and loved it but kept worrying that it was just a 'dream'. LOL ... I almost died when Wilson and House went into House's bedroom to find Cuddy and she wasn't there. |

OMG. I think this was my favorite eppy EVER!!! I loved every single minute of it. Just.....wow!!! Gate--I was pissed when Wilson came in and Cuddy was nowhere to be found. Thank goodness it was NOT a dream! OMG, how hilarious was Wilson stuck in the window? :P I thought the previews looked awesome. This Cuddy/House relationship is going to be fantastic. Two thumbs UP!!! |

GATE, NOT ME >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I can't believe we don't have a thread for this season's House. Am I the only one watching? Me: We did, but it was pretty well abandoned in September... weird... Last night's episodes was GROSS!!!! House Shocker: Lisa Edelstein Calls It Quits - http://www.tvline.com/2011/05/house-shocker-lisa-edelstein-quits/ I'm sorry she won't be around for the final season. :-/ I forget how to merge topics now... it used to be so easy, grrr... |

I don't watch House per se, but I can't imagine it without her. It's like Bones without Booth, The X-Files without M or S and so on. For me, House is about the dynamics among the main three characters - House, Wilson and Cuddy. It's like breaking the holly trinity. |

>> The X-Files without M or S Yeah, and despite LIKING the actors cast in place of them, it definitely wasn't the same show without Duchovny... (I know Anderson technically never left, but she played minimally in the final year... and now Hargitay has successfully negotiated for a light back nine on SVU next season...) |

Well SOMEONE merged the threads so thank you! I did search for the topic ... weird ... or maybe my eyesight is just so pathetic I couldn't see it. Shelle, your analogies are SPOT ON. Even though you don't watch the show you get the drift of what I'm saying. I'm just not sure what's going to happen in Season 8 without Cuddy. :firemad: |

>> Well SOMEONE merged the threads so thank you! Roundabout way... I deleted your new one, but put your text in the old one... >> I did search for the topic ... weird ... or maybe my eyesight is just so pathetic I couldn't see it. I found it on the second page... I thought 'there HAS to be one'... but only barely. You all really have gone all season without discussing House... |

I used to watch House on Tv sometimes, but I don't think I've seen much from anything of the fourth season and later. I watched last year's finale ending and i read the news and so on. As for The X-files, it's so funny because when I think of the show, it's mostly first five seasons and the finale, in my book, both Scully and Mudler were always there. I loved Monica and Dodget, many of their episodes are one fo the best I've ever seen, but for me, it's like a spin off. Like watching PP with Derek or meredith stopping by. I must even say that I often found Scully's presence odd and bit disruptive that MD could really carry a show by themselves. Coming from someone who went ballistic when Dodget first appeared there :) TO me, there were simply two shows :) |

There was talk of spinning off Robert Patrick's Doggett... I would have watched it... With my love/hate for the show as a whole, I never got the dvds for X-Files, but there are several episodes I'm interested in seeing again... 'Drive', with Bryan Cranston, written by Vince Gilligan - it was the beginning of that star/creator teaming that brought us Breaking Bad... I remember the story, and that it was good, but not any individual moments, so I need to rewatch... |

Wow. This was so bad it was painful. The whole season sucked, but the finale was awful on so many levels. The only way House comes back is if thy do a time leap. I think there's a plot to get me to stop watching so much TV. yeah. There's gotta be a reason so many shows I watch have become really terrible TV. |

I totally agree. First, our DVR was messed up so we couldn't watch it until last night. House has always been my husbands and my top favorite show. I read TVLines Tweet saying 'Did that really happen?' before the show started so I was all excited to see what happened. I was so disappointed. It totally sucked and the rest of the episode was awful. It has definitely jumped the shark. Of course I'll want to see next season to see how they resolve this whole mess. I'm just sad I didn't stop watching it a couple of seasons ago because it's ruined for me at this point. So. "Some" viewer are confused? "Some" think the wrong thing (according to Shore)? "Some" were too dense to notice everyone left the dining room, and so "some" of us are too damn stupid to cut House a fair break? Shore continues to be an asshole. If he's unable to admit he made a huge mistake, then House will get so bad it will be unwatchable next season. Edited by KMInfinity, Jun 3 2011, 05:36 PM.
