Well, MY Andy must be doing SOMETHING right if you enjoy his show. So there! :bunny: As for spoiled rotten Ashley, I totally agree with you. I think it's due to Jacqueline trying to make up for the fact that her dad isn't there but is in Texas with a "new" family. But still. The girl has it made, go call the freaking wahhh-mbulance. Wahhhh! My parents split up! Wahhhh! I'm stucking living with my rich mom and stepdad who treat me like gold and give in to my every whim. Wahhh! Ugh. She annoys the crap out of me. So disrespectful to her mother. Although again, Jacqueline allows/allowed that behavior so I guess it's not totally Bratty Ashley's fault. On another note, Chris is really HOT, too. Something about those Manzo men. :wub1: (Except for Albert, Sr.!) Although I guess he's technically not a Manzo. Okay, the ones related to Caroline! |

I havent seen the PSA either. I enjoy Andy most of the time but theres those times when he turns into a total fanboy that make me cringe. I do love WWH, his silly games make me laugh and usually I am a fan of the non housewife guests. I'd rather watch him than Leno, Letterman, or any of the others. I agree that all her parents have contributed to Ashleys bratty behavior but at some point you have to grow up. Theres just something about 20somethings still blaming mommy and daddy for all their problems that pisses me off. Lots of people have bad childhoods (way worse than hers) and one day they either wake up and take responsibility for their own lives or they become nasty human beings for the rest of their lives. The jury is still out on Ashley. Only watched a few minutes of NY part 2 reunion so far and it seems like lots more yelling.... |

Oh God. I just turned it on and watched about 15 minutes and had to turn it off. I think my ears are bleeding. Thank goodness my hubby wasn't home, he would die with all the yelling and fighting. He says he had enough of that in his childhood and doesn't get why I like all these reality shows with people bickering and fighting. And I must agree that sometimes he is right! |

I laugh every time I see that commentary of Ramona mocking LuAnn with the, "Ohhh dah-ling! How could you and did you and will you and would you!" HILARIOUS! I didn't feel like I needed another 90 minutes of the NY housewives fighting and bickering but I sat through the whole thing. If you didn't watch it, I don't think you missed anything. Just more of the same. Alex was rude and obnoxious throughout. I felt like she interrupted time and time again. I have a relatively confrontational personality, which I think is why I enjoy the fighting and bickering. I was going to say that it took me awhile to get the "C U Next Tuesday" thing but neither of you probably saw it. Anyone watch Flipping Out? That lady who hated Jenni was too freaking funny! |

OMG, my hubby was sitting there while I watched the last part of the NY Reunion show and he says he HATES Alex. Personally, I still hate Kelly. She's such an instigator. I think Alex is annoying and wish she would go to being the sweeter, cooler chick she was the first season. Sometimes less really IS more. Sorry bud......I don't watch that Flipping Out show. Although I'm sure I would love it, my hubby would probably die. Bev Hills is coming up. Woo-hoo! :cheers1: |

I hated Alex and Simon in the first season. They were such desperate social-climbers. All I can remember is the two of them yammering on about how fabulous they thought they were. The only time I've ever liked Alex was last season when she was buddy-buddy with Bethenny. Flipping Out grew on me over time. I hated Jeff Lewis at first but now think he's quite funny. He's got a vicious sense of humor, which I love. His housekeeper, Zoila, and his assistant, Jenny, are pretty funny, too. NJ is kind of getting on my nerves. It seemed like someone said the word "family" every 30 seconds on the last episode. That would have been a good drinking game to get wasted on. Do people really talk like that??? I can't remember anyone in my family ever going on and on about how we're all family and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Maybe we're the unusual ones. Looking forward to the return of the Beverly Hills HWs!!! |

All the family talk was very redundant. Teresa is getting on my last nerve. I really wish someone would just shake her and tell her to stfu and listen. She constantly interrupts everyone! I watch flipping out sometimes. I did see the eppy with the lady that hated Jenny, that was funny. I love Zoila! She is the sole reason I tune in usually. Did he fire Sarah? I dont like her much. I liked it better when he was flipping houses rather than being a designer but in this economy I understand and applaud him for making the move. I never rally minded Alex until this season. Simon is obnoxious but sometimes I admit he does make me LOL. |

On one of my girlfriends' recommendation, I just started watching Roseanne's Nuts on Lifetime (I think) and OMG, is that show ever hysterically funny. It's all about her life in Hawaii with her boyfriend, son, and zen-like cutie-pie buddy who camps out on their property. It's only a half hour show so if you get a chance, check it out. I put it on last night without telling hubby (I though he would bitch about yet another new reality show) and he was laughing his ass off. Love it! Agree about all the family, family, family talk on NY. Enough already! OMG, I so wanted to slap Ashley when Lauren gave her the chance to do her tee shirts for promotion and she basically just blew her off and didn't even try. That girl is soooo unlikable and spoiled. She'll never get anywhere in life with that attitude. And she can't coast on her looks because I don't even think she's all that cute. Maybe it's her personality that makes her ugly. Boy, can you ever see the difference in how the two of them (Lauren and Ashley) were raised. Both had money but one realizes she needs to work now that she's an adult and be responsible and the other is just a schlub that wants to party all the time and thinks Mommy and Daddy should support her in her bad habit. Ugh. :taz: |

WOW! Unfortunate for his daughter, friends and family. I wonder if it will impact what they show of Taylor during the new season, now.
Sorry, jbrr! I forgot to answer this. Yes, he fired Sarah. She had it coming, though. Then he fired Trace on the next episode. I've only seen the last few minutes of that episode, so I don't know what happened with Trace. |

Sarah was such an airhead! I saw the episode where Trace got the boot (well most of it anyway). Jeff caught him working on his own designs during work hours and Jeff flipped out. I guess its called flipping out for a reason lol. I'm surprised either of them lasted as long as they did. I dont like the new guy (Jeffs boyfriend) at all. The latest on the BH situation: Bravo has announced that short of postponing or entirely shelving the coming cycle of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, episodes will be re-edited in the wake of this week’s tragic suicide by Russell Armstrong, whose crumbling marriage to series regular Taylor Armstrong was to be a prominent Season 2 plot point. “Contrary to what is being reported, we have not made a decision to change our original premiere date [of Sept. 5],” Bravo president Frances Berwick told Variety, “but we are in the process of re-editing the show.” Berwick did not elaborate on what sort of editing will be done — Russell Armstrong was involved in scenes concerning his strained marriage, Variety reports — and it is still possible that Season 2 of RHOBH will meet its Sept. 5 premiere date. Russell Armstrong, 47, was found dead on Monday night in a friend’s Los Angeles home, after having hanged himself. He and Taylor have a 5-year-old daughter together. http://www.tvline.com/2011/08/real-housewives-beverly-hills-reedit-season-armstrong-suicide/ |

I'm not a fan of Jeff's boyfriend, Gage, either. He's an opportunistic, catty, party pooper, as far as I'm concerned. Had a feeling Russell's suicide would have some impact on BH's new season, especially with the premiere date being so soon. I just hope we still get to see some of Taylor losing her mind. |

The last I heard it was definitely being postponed and Russell's family was threatening to sue Bravo. That dude was selfish to the bitter end. I never did like him. Apparently in Taylor's divorce she stated physical and verbal abuse as part of the reason why. I'm not surprised, we all saw the verbal abuse last year. This has been really awful for Bravo. Bums me out. :( |

I read one article that had a lawyer saying he didn't think Russell's suicide would make much of an impact, if any at all. Two articles mentioned that Russell was always depressed about his financial situation. I don't know why the family would think they could sue Bravo, other than for greed. Maybe they could do something in court to stop the show from airing, though. Why couldn't he have waited until after the season reunion??? |

My sentiments exactly! We're so bad! :firemad: On a lighter note, since my hubby is at a Workers' Comp seminar for a few days, I decided to download a few eppies of Flipping Out and I really like it. I'm 2 or 3 in. He just fired that dumb bunny Sarah. Well-deserved firing, I might add. LOVE Jeff, Jennie, and Zoila. Thought it was so sweet of him to give Zoila the maid a face lift for her birthday. She cracks me up! I also thought the storyline with the one client that hated Jennie was hysterical. Especially how Jeff got so much pleasure out of it. Tee! |

LMAO...glad to know I wasnt the only one that was thinking I wish he would have chosen a different time, this totally screwed up the season. Yeah we're all terrible but I dont care! Saw an interview with his stepmom on one of the tabloid shows, she blames both Taylor and Bravo. I guess there is a big fight over where hes to be buried. Its sad but really why cant people just be human beings instead of money grabbing leaches when someone dies.Though I always did kinda think Taylors spending would come back to haunt them. That birthday party for the kid was ridiculous. It will be interesting to see how they address all of this. Of all the times for WWH to be on hiatus... NJ last night was interesting, I wanted to reach through the screen and smack Ashley repeatedly. Teresa was more obnoxious than normal obviously overcompensating for the court struggle. Loved how she tried to spin it as a win. Kathys daughter does seem a bit too perfect. Not really sure what to make of that yet. |

There was a little voice telling me I was insensitive for being frustrated that Russell didn't wait until the season was over, but I ignored it. People don't commit suicide simply because they're on a reality show. I wonder if any of Russell's family members who are blaming Taylor and Bravo for his death were there for him and encouraging him to get treatment for his mental illness. Somehow I doubt it. Glad you got to check out Flipping Out, Cheryl. It's a fun show that you can watch without much of an investment. Jeff is one of the funniest guys on Bravo, I think. There's more to come with Stacey Farish, the gal who hates Jenni. I haven't turned on an episode of NJ Housewives since the "family, family, family" episode. |

The lunch with Ashley's dad made me a little more understanding of Ashley's antics. Jacqueline crying is a big part of the problem. It makes me think she has her own victim tendencies that have contributed to her strained relationship with Ashley. She needs to stay strong when dealing with her daughter. She's supposed to be the adult. Cry when Ashley isn't looking. Though Ashley may have a soft spot for her dad, him trying to fix things really isn't a good idea. He should let Ashley and Jacqueline work it out in their own way. Chris telling Ashley that her mom made sacrifices for her was a baaaaaad move. You made a choice, not a sacrifice. Children don't ask to be born. I have no doubt that Ashley is a disrespectful brat, but watching how the adults in her life operate gives insight into the bad behavior. |

Some tidbits about the Beverly Hills housewives-- RHOBH Lisa Vanderpump's Daughter Gets Married! Plus Taylor Armstrong Living With Kyle The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finally had a reason to celebrate this weekend as Lisa Vanderpump’s daughter tied the knot! Pandora Vanderpump, who was featured on the first season of the hit show, is Lisa’s daughter with husband of 29 years Ken Todd. Pandora got married to beau Jason Sabo on Saturday! RadarOnline reports her nuptials took place — where else — but at her parent’s lavish 15,000 sq ft. Beverly Hills estate. In attendance were 275 guests including some of Lisa’s RHOBH costars – Kyle Richards, Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof. Taylor Armstrong was not in attendance for obvious reasons. Celebs who attended the bash included Latoya Jackson, Janet Jackson and Star Jones. “I can’t explain the love and warmth that filled the room and our hearts last night, thank you all for your messages,my daughter is married!” tweeted Lisa yesterday. Radar reports Bravo cameras were not on hand to tape the wedding but some photos posted online show camera crews taping Pandora as she prepared to walk down the aisle. Perhaps Bravo taped the preparations but not the actual event. Some photos from the wedding are below! In other news, TMZ is reporting that just a day after Russell Armstrong committed suicide, a business associate of his also took his own life. The day after Russell’s body was found hanging, Alan Schram, the managing partner at an L.A-based hedge fund, was found dead on August 16 outside of his car with a gunshot to his head. The L.A. County Coroner concluded Alan’s death was a suicide. TMZ adds that Russell and Alan were friends as well as members of an exclusive group called Tiger 21 which is described as an “organization of high net-worth folk who jawbone with each other about investments.” Taylor and some of her RHOBH castmates reportedly expressed shock over Alan’s death and the timing at Russell’s memorial. While Russell’s attorney has publicly stated he was in deep financial trouble, it is unknown whether Alan was also experiencing financial difficulty. No word yet on whether or not Bravo will be blamed for this tragic death as well. And finally, the Huffington Post is reporting that Taylor Armstrong and her daughter Kennedy are now living at the home of Kyle Richards in their time of grief. “Kyle’s only concern at the moment is Taylor and Kennedy,” a friend of Kyle’s reveals. “She has had Kennedy staying at her house. She returned from the Bahamas when the news broke and went straight to Barnes and Noble to pick out books for Kennedy to read. She also got her a little necklace with an angel so she could feel safe. Kyle has been the glue that has kept all the housewives together during this period.” The report adds that as of the moment, Bravo is still planning to premiere the second season of the show on Sep. 5. reality tea.com |

Thanks for the awesome update, my man! Wow.....weird about Russell's associate and friend killing himself as well. I'll bet that Tiger 21 group was up to no good and about to get caught. I wonder if the ratings will be higher because of all of the media attention given to this tragedy. They were playing the 911 call for Russell on the early Today show the other day. Good Lord! In other news, I LOVE Jeff Lewis! Just watched the eppy with his doggie having the operation for the burst disk. OMGosh........I was verklempt! He's really such a softie. I love all of his animals. That show has good people in it. Except for that beyotch who hates Jenni. Jett the house assistant is kinda nice on the eyes as well although they don't show him that much. |

That makes me smile that you're becoming such a Jeff Lewis fan, Cheryl. Now you'll enjoy him even more when he's on WWH, I think. Jett got more airtime a few seasons back. It seems like they used to spend more time at the office/Jeff's home, while now they seem to spend more time with the different clients. Felt like there was a revolving door of house assistants in the earlier seasons. I still like the show now but I liked it more when he was flipping houses. Plus, I can't stand Jeff's boyfriend, Gage. Jeff's ex, Ryan (who I wasn't a big fan of but liked him more than Gage), has a young daughter who Jeff and Jenny take to lunch in one episode. If you ever get a chance to watch that one, it's definitely good for a laugh. I see they're running promos for BH to start on Monday, again. WOO-HOO! Be curious to see how the ratings play out. If they're airing 911 calls on The Today Show, I don't see why BRAVO should have to shy away from airing their footage. |

Yeah, I should have listened to you ages ago when you said it was a good show. Jeff is so funny, even my hubby hasn't been complaining. He's watched a couple with me and laughs right along with me. Gage is okay. I don't love him but don't hate him either. I didn't realize until yesterday that they were lovers when that animal psychic lady said the dog likes to stand outside their door while they're doing it. OMG! I LOVE Jeff's sense of humor. He cracks me up how he keeps razzing Zoila about how great Lupe, the temporary maid was. So freakin' funny! So I have a question. What exactly is "flipping houses"? He's an awesome designer. I would LOVE to work for him! |

Before the housing market tanked he would buy fixer uppers fix them up then resell (flip) for big profit. I give him big credit for adapting to the economy and moving seamlessly into design. He is a great designer but it was a little more fun when he was flipping because there was usually no client to please he just did what he wanted with the houses. Though with the clients paying now his designs have gotten a little more upscale which is nice. |

I should have figured that out. Thanks for the explanation! Do they ever run marathons of Flipping Out? I would love to see the earlier seasons that I missed. Seriously, I am SO hooked. I *heart* Jeff Lewis! Bilki--I think you're rubbing off on me. Gage was really annoying me in tonight's show and I don't even know why. Jeff's so smart, witty, and handsome. I think he can do better. Loved meeting Jeff's dad. He's so smart! The two of them make me want to go start my own business. Doing what, I don't know! Didn't like the preview him with talking about letting Jenni go. He wouldn't really do that, would he? She's been so loyal. I hope it was just crazy editing trying to get you to watch the finale. Bev Hills this Monday. Finally!!! |

I've just come across enough of Gage's type to know he's nothing but trouble. Nasty, back-biting, opportunistic queens! I didn't care much for Jeff's ex, Ryan, either. He came off as an opportunistic queen as well but he wasn't as condescending in tone as I think that Gage is. Jeff firing Jenny may have just been a tease. But the thing about Jenny is that she had some aspirations to have an entertainment career, as most people in LA. A few seasons back it seemed like she cut way back in her time as Jeff's assistant and I think there was some mention of her leaving at the time. Then she she started showing more last season. If he does fire her, the show won't be the same without her. I'm still a little surprised he fired both Sarah and Trace. Yes, they do run Flipping Out marathons occasionally during the day on Bravo. |

Trace deserved to be fired! He was a little odd. Cute but strange. How long was he on the show? Sarah seemed a bit ditsy. She took her firing well. Doesn't Jenny sing the theme song on WWH Live? I love her. Hope she's not going anywhere. It would almost be like Zoila leaving! Not good. If you ever hear of a marathon running, please let me know. I checked my drv and didn't see anything in the next couple of weeks except reruns of this season. Was Ryan at least hot? Gage is so NOT sexy to me. Hey, this has morphed into a Flipping Out thread. Cool. I love an all encompassing Buzz Board thread! :cheers1: |

Ryan wasn't hot, IMO. I'd say he was cute but not my type. Trace shows up in season 3 as an intern, then we see him graduate in season 4. From there he takes on more responsibility, so he did feel like a part of Jeff's wacky family. Sarah is quite ditsy. It looked like the only reason she got her job was because Jeff felt like he needed to help out a family member. I wonder if there was any family fallout from Jeff letting her go. Yes, that's Jenny singing the theme song for WWH. There's a hilarious (probably season 3) episode of Jenny dressed as a frog doing a rap for Ryan's young daughter's birthday party. So funny! The showings of seasons past seems to be random. I know they showed season 3 earlier this year because I remember turning it off when Jeff and Ryan have their big blowout at then end. |

I thought Ryan was much cuter than Gage but I wasnt overly fond of him either. The marathons do seem to be random I'm not sure if theres some way to watch old season online anywhere. Its such a fun show while theres always some little drama its a nice escape and always good for a few laughs. I hope Jenny doesnt leave even if we see her less so she can pursue her other interests, I think Jeff needs her to balance him out. This thread has seemed to meander around alot, love that :) I'm guessing when BH gets started we'll get back to our fair share of housewives drama though. btw the new season of mob wives starts in Nov. |

YAY! Jenny is staying! In a way, I can't see Jeff being a father. He seems the type to pass the kid off to the nanny most of the time. But he does a good heart underneath the tough exterior. Gage doesn't have a nurturing bone in his body. So disappointed in BRAVO for not running a season 1 RHOBH marathon on Monday. Not even one episode! Kind of made me think the premiere was going to stink but I enjoyed it. The opening in which the housewives and husbands talked about Russell's suicide was smart. I liked that they addressed the elephant in the room right from the start. I was even slightly moved by what Kyle had to say. Speaking of Kyle, the stuff about Kim and Kyle not talking seemed odd, as I thought they had made up during the reunion. Maybe the reunion was a momentary lapse in not communicating. The both of them crying about it makes me chuckle because they're both actresses. It reminded me of what Kim Zimmer said about Ellen Wheeler being so manipulative by crying all of the time. Adrienne and Paul are wacky. All that bickering! He's like a little boy that she has to mother. Some of it seemed a little forced before and during Adrienne's dinner party. Like they were doing it just for the cameras. And damn, did he ever mess up his goatee! Ken and Taylor's little spat was entertaining. Felt more "real" than the Adrienne/Paul bickering, mostly because we already know that Taylor has insecurities when dealing with Lisa and Ken. She just let those insecurities get the best of her and off she ran to the bathroom. Good stuff. Kyle made me LOL when she said there were too many words she couldn't say when in the presense of those people. Too true and too funny! |
