How do those judges eat all that food early in the season??? Do they each get their own plate, or do they share between the four of them? Happy to see that Eric Ripert is the new judge. But already a week off? Good to see Jonathan Waxman sitting in for him. I enjoyed him on the MASTERS show. |

I have often wondered that very same question. I think they must just eat one bite of each thing. How on earth Padma stays so thin is beyond me. It's kinda nice seeing her a little fattened up from being preggers!
The Masters is the best and has kind of ruined me now for the "normal" show. I loved Jonathan. He's so laid back and down to earth. Obi Wan!!! |

Yes it is disappointing that Eric was only one the first episode so far, though I like Obi Wan. It was interesting seeing him being critical instead of zen. As the season goes on people do gain weight (meaning the judges)...I think Gail talked about having different clothing for that reason. The Masters version is great! |

I know.......right!?! I'm not used to him being on the "other" side of the competition. Still love him though. Good God, some of those chefs are downright awful. Masters has spoiled me for the little people! |

Surprised that Spike was promo-ed as a fan favorite. He's one of the few I can remember cheering when he was sent to pack his knives and go. I was convinced Kenny and Kevin were going home. Lynne and Arnold....WHAT??? |

I just cant get into this season at all. I keep trying but usually end up flipping away at some point in the show. Maybe masters spoiled me too, not sure what it is. The baby food challenge was kinda interesting though. |

It was crazy how that challenge worked, so the team that won, sucked the first two rounds and ended up with European vacations. Wish we had gotten to know Lynn better. |

Yes, that was wacky. I wonder what the other chefs thought of that. I couldn't get into last season, though I made several efforts. I don't know that I'm into this season, or I just don't have anything better to watch. Or, maybe it's my love/hate thing for Padma. |

The problem for me is there's too many damn people! I liked it with Masters because they usually only had on four at a time and the chefs were all so damn classy and cool. They make the normal crop of chefs seem like Hell's Kitchen chefs......not good! Although I did love seeing the cute "good" brother from last season back as a judge. He's a classy guy. |

Was he the good one? I only watched bits and pieces of last season but it did seem odd to me that the other brother won. I've wondered if it was a WTF? moment for those who followed the whole season. And what about the other guy who was in the top 3....did he think he lost only because it was more "exciting" to have the two brothers as the final two? |

The drama between the Volataggio brothers was the best thing about last season. It wasn't a WTF moment at all. The two bros were amazing the entire competition and dominated the challenges, along with Kevin that guy that made it along with them into the finale. Kevin's downfall was that he was almost too simple though and you know at the end, Collichio and company love all that fancy schamcy stuff. The brother that won--Michael, was a bit of an ass at times to his own brother and was uber competitive with him almost to the point of being irritating. He couldn't be happy for his brother when HE won a challenge, yet his brother (the good one--Brian) was always happy and proud of HIM. I have to admit they were exceptional chefs......I was just rooting for the other brother! |

Was good Brian the older of the two? What a little punk ass the other brother was to not be happy when Brian won a competition. |

Michael, the younger brother won. Which surprised me, and apparently, him. Not ahving actually tasted the food, I would have guessed that Bryan, the older one would win. He was my bet all season and he seemed like the better person and the better chef. But one of the flaws of the show is that we can't taste the food...... |

Yes.....Brian was the oldest and the one I liked the most. And also the one that lost in the finale to his little brother, Michael. And although they were both REALLY competitive with each other, Michael was definitely a bit punk-y ass-y! |

Even as a casual observer, I can see Brian being the "good" one and Michael being the punk ass in their facial expressions. Brian had a mostly pleasant look on his face, while Michael usually looked like he had a chip on his shoulder.
Amen to that! And we have no idea which judge to trust. At least when watching Project Runway you can get an idea of which judge you most identify with. |

I think I would have to go with Gail on that one......for some reason, I don't know why. I DO love Padma and think Tom Collichio is HOT! |

I'd choose Gail, too. She seems like the most fair and thoughtful of the three. Tom does nothing for me and I've always thought Padma comes off as a pretentious bitch, though I think she's a great host for the show. So, Eric Ripert is back and we lose Gail! UGH! I thought Padma would send Steven to get his knives and go. Hasn't he been in the bottom almost every week? |

How odd it must have been for Andrea to be judged by a competitor of her restaurant. Seems unfair on the part of the producers, though I imagine it was done in effort to pump up the "drama". I'm not sure what I think of Angelo, but I wouldn't trust him any further than I could throw him. The chefs judging the chefs was a curious twist. I remember this happening on a past season (I didn't follow last season all that closely) but I don't think the chefs knew whose food they were judging that time. It may have been the Miami season. At least the show's judges seemed to agree with chefs. I'd rather have Gail on the panel than Eric Ripert. |

Congrats to Tiffany on her two wins! She's my favorite personality this season. It's about time they sent Steven home. Seems like he was in the bottom almost every week. I'll be shocked if Angelo doesn't make it to the finale. |

I wish bald headed Alex would have gone. I don't trust him since the "stealing the pea puree" incident. He seems very shifty! I like Tiffany as well. Hey, are you watching Project Runway? I feel so bad for that strange little dude, Mondo, who has no friends. I wish someone would be nice to him, he's so sweet.......and talented! OMGosh, when he was crying because he's so lonely, it just broke my heart. |

Project Runway is on Lifetime now...it started a couple of weeks ago...in the east it is on from 9 to 1030 pm on Thursdays. They don't have a replay on Thursday nights anymore SIGH. They cancelled the models of the runway show. After PR is over, the next program is Austin and Santino going around making dresses for people. |

You're so funny. I think it was a difficult decision for them this time because they all made great dishes. It shows you what I know, I thought Angelo was going home and he was the winner! I'm rooting for Ed. Angelo is just weird. |

Praying to cooking legends is weird even to me and that says a lot! Angelo won the car, which usually means you don't win the show (except last season). Oh and supposedly they are going to do an all-star season. |

An All-Stars season could be fun. I'm sure we'd have a couple "Why is he/she an All-Star?" chefs. And they'd probably invite that rotten Spike back. |

Was Marcel season 1? I didn't watch all of those early seasons. I know Marcel was a punk but I thought it was pretty bad when they held him down and wanted to shave his head. And I still love "I'm not your bitch, bitch" even though Dave seemed like a bitch. I don't think I watched a full season until Miami. |
