Ragan and Matt are the final two, but Matt won it again. This is a ridiculous season when it comes to endurance. |

I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time we've seen the boyfriend or girlfriend back home. During the Dick/Danielle season, wasn't Danielle cheating on her boyfriend back home? Seems like I had read on Hamsterwatch that both Hayden and Kristin were in relationships. I was happy to see the show deal with one of them. Maybe Hayden isn't actually in one, or she didn't want to talk on camera. I think Kristin's guy back home was better looking but Hayden does seem like a good guy. I was thinking Enzo would win the Saboteur vote, so I wasn't too far from the mark. Not sure why the viewers voted Ragan to be the new one. He would have been one of the last ones I would have voted for. I could see him not accepting the offer. Rachel's HOH blog looks even longer than the first one, which makes it worse. I can't help but read it in her annoying yelling voice, so I didn't make it all that far. I hate that Matt won HOH, again. BORING! Let me guess, he's going to remind us that he's the greatest BB player ever. |

I liked the little glimpse at Kristen's boyfriend. But yeah, not a huge 'relationship' if it was only going on a couple months... I will miss seeing Kristen. She's cute. |

It was odd and mean how they played that Kristen bf card. 2 months? That isn't a relationship....hell....that would make me such a whore! Lol Last nights episode was funny. I bet Julie never asks Regan another question on live TV again...too funny. Matt HOH again....ugh..at least we know he will hopefully get Rachel or Brendan out. I am so sick of hearing her say "Brendan and me...." kill her! |

If Matt still thinks Brendan/Rachel are buying into his wife's disease, he may not put them up. Since the numbers are dwindling in there, I'm almost curious as to what he will do. Does Rachel say something to every departing HG about trying to get between her and her man in her "good bye" video? I know she said it to Annie, Andrew and now Kristin. |

I think Rachel says that because that's how she feels. Brendon was telling and sharing things with Andrew, that she didn't know about like his speech on POV night. |

Yeah, she said the 'come between me and my man' line to Monet upon her eviction, too. Four for four. It's funny. |

Read a really good analysis of how Matt should have thrown it and *let* Ragan have it. -He had nothing to fear in a Ragan HoH. -The House will demand Brenchel go up. This is actually bad for his game because this eviction begins the jury. Brenchel will likely not vote for an F2 who put them out. -If Matt is against another brogade alliance member, he's looking for votes from the other Bros. But he's 4th on the Bro totem pole, so likely the other bro gets the Bro vote. Thus if he's up against a bro in F2 he's likely lost 4 votes - 2 remaining Bros; Brenchel. He should have let Ragan dither, and maybe even boot a bro. His best best is to have three Bros on the jury and no hand in evicting them. Edited by KMInfinity, Aug 6 2010, 01:53 PM.

Agree with the Matt-should-have-thrown-it-to-Ragan analysis (though I didn't know a couple components of it, like that Matt is 4th within the Brigade- does he know that?...). So what was with all of Julie's blather about this being 'the most powerful HOH of the season' (or ever, I think she might have said, too)? Did she ever say or give a more concrete hint? I got that Pandora's Box may unleash a new Saboteur and that Ragan's gonna receive an offer... but is the HOH a part of that, or...? |

OK, I couldn't remember if Rachel said that to Monet, too. It made me laugh when she said it to Kristin. I hope she keeps saying it, even if it makes no sense to do so. For as much as she annoys me, I do appreciate that she's a good sport about being a goofball. My understanding about the "most powerful HOH" thing was being able to open Pandora's box. One of those "much ado about nothing" things. I wouldn't be surprised if she said the same the last time they did Pandora's box. |

Dax, Matt might suspect but it's clear to the feedsters as Lane and Enzo and Hayden each have various deals with each other that include F2. Matt does NOT have an F2 deal with anyone within the Brogade. The Brogade is F4 and they say they'll then "let the chips fall." But even the three together have commented that Matt is shaky. This was after he didn't nom Brenchel last HoH. Then again, they Hay-Kris week may have weakened Haydens' role within the Brogade (except now she's gone.) I do know Enzo and Lane have specifically formed an F2 deal. I think I read somewhere that Lane has also done the same with Hayden? The way it was explained to me (speculation) - opening Pandora's Box is so the HoH can get a special POWER (such as the Coup d'etat?) But the HoH will be told that opening the box to get the power they are also unleashing something else - they won't know it's the saboteur. The savvy houseguests have already speculated it will be a returning houseguest. (They're wrong - tho that was a plan for awhile.) |

This is Julie's blog again...from EW.com Julie Chen blogs 'Big Brother' Week 5 WOW! What a week! Last Thursday, Andrew reveals Kristen and Hayden’s secret “showmance” to the house on his way out the door and leaves behind a hot mess. Rachel and Kristen square off in this season’s most heated cat fight; Rachel places her rival “showmance” (Kristen and Hayden) on the block; Britney snags the POV, but to Hayden’s dismay, she decides not to use it; Hayden and Kristen check their emotions at the door and resort to saving themselves; and Kristen campaigns tirelessly, but ultimately is unable to garner enough support and becomes the fourth evicted Houseguest. I think this could be a huge turning point for the season — 34 days into the game and the action continues to get more juicy by the moment. I was disappointed when Kristen was evicted as I was eager to see what impact their relationship would have on the “Brigade” – whether Hayden would have truly picked his “showmance” over his “bromance” or vice versa. Kristen told me post eviction that she was unprepared for life inside the house. As we witnessed on the show, she admitted she was very guarded and not one to easily make friends…two personality traits that typically lead to early evictions. MOVING FORWARD TO THIS WEEK: Despite Rachel and Brendon being in a “showmance,” their position inside the house continues to be stable. However, that could all change pending the result of this week’s HOH. You have to think that if any member of the “Brigade” captures HOH, they will put Rachel and Brendon on the block. I’m sure the “Brigade” is eager to dismantle any and all “showmances.” Luckily for the “Brigade” their strength lies in their numbers, because if they were forced to rely on any other element (physical prowess, strategic gameplay, etc.) they would have splintered several weeks ago. Based on their poor showings in competitions, combined with Hayden’s flip-flopping throughout the house and Ragan’s growing suspicion of an all-male alliance, you can easily see them imploding at any moment. Kudos to all the fans who voted for this season’s next (potential) Saboteur. I think Ragan is a wise selection. He’s an intelligent, passionate player who will take the role very seriously and work hard not to disappoint. Plus, he stands to make an easy $20,000? Maybe easy isn’t the right word, but I personally think it’s worth the risk. Tune in on Sunday to see if Pandora’s Box will be opened and if Ragan will accept the job. Tell me below…do you think this week’s HOH will risk opening Pandora’s box or play it safe? If you were in the house, what would you do? COMMENTS PLEASE! (Personally, I would open it!) FUN FACTS: LUXURY COMPETITION – There were 9 obstacles in this week’s Luxury competition. The fastest time was 0:47 seconds and the slowest time was 2:18. VETO COMPETITION (“Wizards of Pinball”) – It would cost $1.75 to play all the pinball machines that were on display for 1 round and the giant pinball machine was 16 ft long by 20 ft wide. HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD COMPETITION (“True Colors”) – The diameter of the paint can in last night’s HOH competition was over 14 feet and the giant swinging paint brush was over 11 feet long. RANDOM THOUGHTS: – I’m so excited to have two of our favorite past Houseguests, Jeff and Jordan, making a surprise visit to the house this week. As many of you probably know, Jeff is on his “Around the World for Free” tour and I’m hearing he may need a place to stay for the night. Tune in on Wednesday to see if Jeff has any “showmance” advice for “Brenchel.” – The curse of the Big Brother costume is alive and well. Two years of evicted Houseguests who wore the red unitard, followed by Casey’s unfortunate banana suit last season and Kristen’s swift departure last night courtesy of the hippie-tard. – I felt like this week was a coming out party for Britney. She demonstrated that she’s more of gamer than I may have originally thought. She’s successfully working all sides of the house and not just standing by waiting to be evicted. – I think you can make the argument that Lane is one of the most underachieving players in the game from a physical standpoint? He’s a former collegiate athlete, but his performance in competitions as of late is on par with Kathy. – Word of advice for all future contestants — if you’re on a reality show that films your every move 24/7, it’s probably not smart to become romantically involved with a fellow Houseguest after you told your boyfriend waiting at home that you want to remain faithful throughout your time on the show. You never know where the love bug will strike inside the house. QUOTES OF THE WEEK: Britney: “If I said an f-bomb on TV, my mom would cry and my dad would have to skip a Sunday at church.” Hayden: “I think cougar hunting is dangerous…I like to hunt young cubs in their 20s.” Kathy regarding Rachel: “We got the devil upstairs working in the devil’s den.” That’s it for this week. Tune in Sunday to see if Ragan will be unleashed into the house as the next Saboteur — and I hope this week lives up to the craziness we just witnessed. Thanks everyone for all the support. |

Britney has the POV. I doubt she'll use it. Does anyone else notice that whenever Matt wins something he brags about being in control of the house, and when Brogade loses a comp they groan about how the world is against them? Makes me chuckle. I'm curious about the thought process behind choosing to evict Rachel or Brendon. He "looks" like the stronger player but she has won two HOHs. And since they just had an endurance comp, I'd guess the next one will be something Rachel could win. I guess if she won the next HOH Matt could use his Coup d etat power/diamond veto to change the noms. |

Britney didn't use the POV. Hamsterwatch reports that Rachel and Brendon are acting in a way that they think will make the house evict Brendon. The house is playing along with them, though they plan on evicting Rachel. This should make the Rachel haters cheer. |

I'll be sorry to see her go. Not that I like her, but she's smarter than the rest in many ways, and more of a gamer. She's realized the DR can't lie for a player, and has composed a list of questions to ask ion the DR, and shared the plan with Enzo, Lane, Hayden(?), and britney. If they follow thru Matt is toast. Questions: 1. Did Matt really only get his old Dollar from episode one for opening Pandora's Box. 2. Is Big Brother allowed to go thru their things wile they are locked out. (Matt claims BB took his Dollar card from his bag and put it in Pandora's Box.) 3. Is the saboteur rewarded with money? (For some reason, they think this is a big deal.) BUT, since BB says they can't discuss their DR sessions, any info learned is useless in group dynamics, so rachel is busy pushing the others to ask the Q themselves. Rachel is on the verge of realizing to ask about Matt's wife. |

Thank GOD I wasn't the only one thinking that ;) As annoying as Rachel is I do have to admit that she is a smart player. If she would just tone it down a notch or 20 she may even be likable. I would LOVE for her to ask the DR those questions and bring Matt down. I haven't liked him since he lied about his wife being sick. That's just...wrong. Thanks for the info KM! Does anyone know if Jeff and Jordon are in the house yet? |

Jeff and Jordan have come and gone. They were only there for the Veto comp, which I believe was on Saturday. Seems unlikely at this point, but I'd rather have Rachel in the house than Brendon. She's much more enthusiastic about the game, and I'd be curious to see what she does without him. |

Brendon seems like a little puppy around her. He can't understand the game for being too busy with Rachel while Rachel is always thinking of the game. Don't get me wrong she is far from my favorite person, but I can't blame her for being ticked at Brendan for dropping during the HOH comp. I don't get feeds so I know I'm missing stuff but Rachel has won 2 HOHs Brendan should have held on until his arm went numb. The house would stay more exciting with Rachel there than Brendan. |

Fun show tonight. Good to catch up with Jeff and Jordan. Brendan and Rachel's behaviors were really funny, especially the long 'Rachel wants an apology from Kathy' sequence. Rachel's a pretty ridiculous person with a highly irritating voice, but she is definitely a fun reality show conflict provider. Matt's 'dollar' lie with the Pandora's Box was really dumb, immediately see-through, and he SEEMS smart enough that he could/should have come up with a much better and plausible cover story. He is not as smart as he thinks he is. Enzo amuses me. |

Well.... I finally watched the last Big Brother on Youtube. I can't wait for that crazy bitch to go! Brenden is sooooo stupid. Wanting to give up a chance for the big prize fot HER? Really?!? They have known each other for how long? Is it possible they knew each other before the game? All that " Brenden and me have been fighting every day to stay in this house " stuff just makes me want to pull her by her hair extensions and drag her to the dumpster and toss her ass in. It was nice seeing Jeff/Jordon . They look so happy and cute together :) |
