Brad should not be going anywhere! I love he and Katie together! I don't really care about their personal lives. Shut up and entertain me!

I don't buy that it was all about the personal affairs of the actors. I think they needed money to bring back Mark Collier, Paul Leyden, Dr. Ben, and Lesli Kaye!

I will miss Austin Peck as Brad though. And I was happy to have Katie happily settled. I do not want this show to go back to being the revolving door of Katie's love life.

I'm all for moving story along but some things are happening way too quickly. Lily would never marry Damian so soo after Holdens death. At least they should play up her sleeping pill use to show she is not in her right mind. Also, Megs obsession with Damian has come out of no where. Although I think it is a great idea to reignite the Lily-Meg feud. Meg should be at least a little bad, not the whimpering victim/heroine she has been over the last few years.

WTF? Henry beds Babs! I don't even know what to say. This better not break up him and Vienna.

Looking forward to some emily vs janet!

Daytime Confidential

Submitted by Mike Jubinville on October 18, 2009

As the World Turns has been making a habit of using short-term name actors to come in, make an impression and leave. Just when things begin to look interesting between Holden, Lily, Damian and Maeve, Judi Evans makes her exit. Her last airdate is scheduled for October 30.

Henry/Audrey: Greedy to the core, Audrey poisons Barbara's drink, hoping for deadly results. Henry saves the day and prevents Barbara from taking a sip. Audrey is arrested for attempted murder. Can it be long before it is revealed that she killed James for his money, or will she make an escape? Either way, Lynn Herring and Stuart Damon share a final airdate on October 27.

Ralph: Speaking of Ralph, his exit storyline will be more dramatic and leave a more lasting effect. Katie gets involved when Henry tells her he's leaving. Katie finds Ralph to talk to him, but instead finds herself taken away to a warehouse, where she is abandoned by Ralph's henchmen. Barbara finds out that Katie was kidnapped and helps Henry by unblocking the inheritance so he can pay Ralph the money he is owed. Since his men left Katie, he can't tell them where she is stashed. While alone, Katie has a vision of her friends and family, who guide her through an escape route. As she tries to free herself, she goes into labor and has her baby boy. She is finally found by Brad, who also becomes a hostage. Jack attempts to rescue the trio and makes a fatal miscalculation. In the dark and confusion, Brad is shot. He later dies at the hospital.

Parker/Jack/Liberty/Craig/Rosanna: Craig decides to pull the plug on Parker's trust fund blackmail money because he wants to come clean when Carly comes home. Parker's plans to house Liberty in an apartment fall apart, but Liberty's troubles are just beginning. She is feeling the heat from all sides about her baby and now has to deal with the death of her father. Janet still wants to raise Liberty's baby, which pits her against Paul and Emily, who want to get Liberty out of town. Despite the endless pressure, Liberty will face another tragedy. Meanwhile, Jack's suspicions about Craig and Rosanna grow, but all he finds are brick walls. His investigation eventually leads him back to Parker, who confesses that they are having an affair.

As the World Turns promises lots of action this week. A few cast members will be exiting the canvas, but some anticipated returns are right around the corner. Post your comments!

I agree! Recast if it is that big of a problem, but don't kill him to make a point.
I was looking forward to Lynn Herring coming on the show, but I am so happy to see the character of Henry's Mother leave. Same feeling about Stuart Damon. Both talented actors, but I was disappointed in the type of characters they played.

  :wtf: I still cannot believe they are getting rid of Brad! The character has been nothing but a breath of fresh air and good humor. I adore Brad and Katie. And really?, how stupid to kill the one other character that she plays really, rally well off of and has romantic vibes with! :bricks:

I hate that they are doing this so much. However Michael Park has been doing some great work over the last few days. I can't remember him ever getting an Emmy nom. Maybe this will be his chance.

It was sooooo sad yesterday. And WTH??? Why was that idiot Janet all up in Jack's face about telling Margo he had been drinking? From what I saw he had a beer or two...wasn't acting like he was drunk...did she dye some of her brain cells when she dyed her hair red?

Don't care who's bed who's boots have been under....ain't no reason to fire a person!

I'm so darn glad that Henry's mother and Janet's uncle are gone. What a bust that was for me. Not their acting...the storylines...they sucked.

I know this thread said spoilers but figured in case some didn't know and didn't want to know ahead of time. I read online that Brad....

This totally sucks. Brad and Katie worked well with each other. All aside; their personal lives should not have affected their professional lives. Didn't Terri C. and her husband split up anyways? The way I see it; if you fire 1 you should fire the other. It does take 2 to tango.
The scenes yesterday were very sad and heartwrenching. The whole "Ghost" storyline sounds like it's gonna be lame and kinda like "Ghost".
You can def tell that the writers from GL have moved over to ATWT. It's only a matter of time till they screw this show up just as bad.
I did enjoy Janet and Jack not getting along :) I see a window of opportunity for Carly to creep back in :) And for God's sake.....cut Parkers hair!!! LOL

The scenes with Brad and Katie putting the baby in his arms was too much for me. I am not a crier, but they got me a little.

Jack is doing a great job. I do not want Carly to come back to rescue him from himself.

I tuned in the past few days just to watch it....forwarded thru most of the other stuff. I thought the scenes were great but couldn't help but think some of their emotion might be coming from the real life situation and it made me feel like a voyeur!
