Just was wondering if anyone watched Mercy this week, Wed at 8pm I believe. I thought it was alright. I want to watch a few more times before I commit to it. Anybody else have input?

I feel the same.

It was OK. I liked it, Veronica seems to be an interesting character, the actress is fresh and believable. I like it much more than Hawthorne (?) where I even hadn't finished the pilot.

Also, Jack from Men in trees - such a cutie :)

I liked it. It's on a night with little competition for my viewing. I'll give it another couple viewings....

I thought I recorded it but it's not showing up. Hum ... I guess I'll have to see if it's on demand if I have time. Keep me posted.

Kinda like everyone else on this. It was OK, but not outstanding. I'll watch a few more eps and see if I want to continue. At this point I'm inclined to say my interest probably won't last much longer than that.

Finally watched it this morning. Didn't like the beginning so much...the docs were dicks and the nurses were bitchy. I thought ..nah...don't even want to watch a bunch of nasty people..just did that with BB. But kept it on and it seemed to tone down a bit. For some reason I kept comparing it to ER.

It got my interest a bit when I saw Jack from Trees too lol. I've seen on twitter that the first epi had been "reworked"...I think it was Rousch from TVGuide that said that, and that he didn't think it made it any better. I will probably record it again to see if the second epi is any better.

BB = Big Brother?

I think the ER comparison makes sense because of the working class environment as someone mentioned before. Also, it has the vibe and it's filled with action, maybe it's the camera, but you don't get this feeling from watching GA, not that I complain about it.

I agree that the beginning was bit weird as they were so angry with each other, maybe it was on purpose for the viewers to get the characters.

yep shelle_cr bb=big brother. I think your "angry" fits better than my "bitchy" though. Now that you've mentioned it...they did seem really angry.

You know, it could have been Bold & Beautiful, it would fit as well :)

I kept comparing it with ER too. I'll try another week and see where it goes. Hubby liked it until she was making out with the Dr. He said she's just a whore, it ruined it. I then said that that's what makes good tv because it's out of reality for me!

It was just okay for me. I guess I'm expecting something different from GA and Hawthorne. There are two other new shows starting in the same vein, Trauma and Three Rivers so if this one doesn't get more exciting, I'll see what the others offer.

I watched the latest episode and it's a little better. Though I felt a little confused about Veronica and how she feels about her husband. I thought from the first epi that she didn't really love or care for him or even want to be married. But the last epi...after he put the bathroom in...she seems like she wants him and the marriage. James Tupper (Chris) isn't giving up on getting her though...and I liked him so much in Men in Trees that I'm going to keep recording the show for a bit.

Mercy got picked up for a full season.

NBC has ordered full seasons of rookie series Community (cool!) and Mercy (meh), as well as second-year comedy Parks and Recreation (woo-hoo!).

Last ep was really, really good, I thought. A vast improvement over the early eps. If the quality keeps up I'm in for the rest.

I agree mani - I caught up On-Demand while sick on the couch this weekend. It's getting better and better, which is a good sign.

105 - Is she really dead? Shame on them. Though I agree, it's getting better. I knew why I picked this as a new medical show among others :)

Am i the last viewer standing? :)

Just finished the last eppy, another great one. I like this show more and more. Though it's so sad sometimes.

I had too many other shows I was watching and dropped it. I may watch when I have the time but school this semester doesn't look like it.

It's just OK for me but for some reason I can't stop watching it. I really don't like Veronica or the secular feel of the show. But I do like Chloe and the crotchety doc (his name escapes me now) reminds me of John Ritter for some reason, and makes me laugh.

I'm sticking with it..... But partly because it's available On-Demand. I wouldn't make room for it on my DVR....

I was surprised when I caught myself looking forward to the new eppy. I may like it more than I thought.

It has good vibe for me.

I cannot decide how I feel about all the characters. Sometimes, I really like Veronica and sometimes I don't. I like her as a nurse, not so much as a wife. I didn't like the hubyy at first, no I like him more. Somehow, I just like the whole show and don't care that much about the individuals which is so weird. I always have my favourites everywhere, a couple or a single character, not here.

The case are interesting though, nothing new, but nicely done.

112 - I just love the show more and more. I love the the stories they do with their patients - Still Bill, the newlyweds, Kelly Bishop's lady.

I'm still amazed how much I'm always looking forward to the new eppy and I'm sad when the eppy is over. It really got under my skin.

It's like my comfort food.

I'm enjoying it more than I expected too. Though I thought the *heightened drama* of having Chloe keep the husband out of his dying wife's room was a bit silly. Really, could that ever happen?

Still enjoying this. The most recent eppy "I Did Kill You, Didn't I?" was excellent. They are starting to deepen some of the stories and the character relationships are getting those grayer, more complex tones. It really helps the that actors are good.

Taylor Schilling always looks stoned to me. Some of her scenes are so badly acted they're cringeworthy. The others, however, are very good and believable.
