I watch ATWT (somewhat - it is just so bad right now) and I think we have the final year on our hands. When GL was canceled it really made it easier for networks to throw nastaligia out the window. History doesn't matter, ratings and money do. Talkers and game shows are inexpensive, and can air repeats. At least CBS is giving fair warning...while GL viewers knew the show was on life support, all signs pointed to a new one year contract earlier this year. Hopefully the finale of ATWT will be as satisfying as GL's was.

You can't be serious about GL's finale being satisfying. IMO they should have done much more to send the grand dame off than they did. I like many a viewer was very disappointed with the way they wrapped up the show.

I think that they did what they could with what they had...and there was no Jeffrey in it. That made it DA BOMB for me. If there's anything to be pissed about, it was the total diss at the Daytime Emmys so Vanessa Williams could sing.
