Why am I not surprised? Jessalyn Gilsig is the BEST! She cracks me up no matter what bitchy, annoying character she is playing. I still love that she works at Sheets 'n' Things! :P

I loved the music, too. Ryan Murphy always does such a good job with his music choices. My hubby soooooooo did not want to watch the show (the musical part scared him off, I think), but afterwards, he admitted that he liked it. I kept telling him, "It's the guy that does Nip/Tuck.....come on and give it a chance!" And he did. And it's all good.....woo-hoo! We were both cracking up the entire show.

I'm having the same battle with Mark. We don't watch a lot of shows together, and I thought this would be a great one for us since he loved Freaks and Geeks, but he's rejecting the musical stuff too. I may have to resort to manipulative threats.

It took me a whole season to get him to watch Mad Men. After S1 I finally caught him when he was sick and marathoned the season while he whimpered on the couch. lol Since he still doesn't understand the cable model of 12 or so eppies a season he spent MONTHS after S2 bugging me about when the next new episode returned.

KMI--first off, remind him that he trusted your judgment before and wasn't sorry! Tommy had no interest whatsoever but I kept pushing the dark comedy aspect and that brought him around long enough to give it a chance. Every time I heard him laugh during the show, I was like......."Yeah!"

Cheryl, I hope your tactics will work on my hubby.

I had a bad start when I told him it's from high school and with songs.

Ladies guess what.

This hubby likes the songs most and doesn't care about the other stuff at all.

Liked #2. Lots of good funny stuff.

I kinda like the musical numbers the best, but... I trust that there's going to be plenty more of them, so I'm not annoyed that there were only three (four, if you count the Cheerios' audition) in this one.

I'm a fan of the musical numbers too. Three or four per show is enough for me. I don't expect it to be wall to wall singing.

OMG......I am digging this show so much. My fave part was when they did "Push It". Too funny! And I LOVE the vicious lady coach of the "Cheerios". LOLOL.....she is a hoot!

It's the fifth, not fourth eppy.

Words cannot express how much I love this show. It brings me joy. LOVED the Acafellas!!! The musical numbers are so much fun. Does anyone know how it's doing in the ratings? I hope it's doing good! I want this one to stay around.

I'm scared to check the ratings, I don't want to find out it's not going to make another season.

Me too, I lvoe the show. My hubby still says that he would rather watch 10 minutes extract of the musical numbers, but he was laughing a lot wathcing 103 and it wasn't during the numbers. I think he'll come around soon :)

Breaking: 'Glee' renewed for full season
by Michael Ausiello

This just in: Fox is on the verge of announcing a full-season pickup for Glee, sources confirm. The show, which has performed solidly in the ratings, initially received a 13-episode order from the network. The back-nine pickup brings the total number of first-season episodes to — I suck at math but I think I’ve got this — 22.

And I think this is the kind of show that will benefit from word-of-mouth and build more audience as time passes.....

That's Kristin Chenoweth. She won an emmy for that role and the show was cancelled. Go figure! Anyway, I'm enjoying Glee!

How did you like 104?

I loved everything with Kurt, what a great eppy. The match was hilarious and when he told hos Dad, he did make me cry.

Apart from that. I don't like where they're going with Quinn. I hope she's not pregnant and I really don't want Terri to take her baby. I think it doesn't fit this show. Also, I don't want Rachel to leave the Glee club :(

LOVED it, as usual. It is official....this is definitely my favorite new show! So touching when Kurt came out to his father. That was awesome.

I'm thrilled to hear the show has been picked up for a full season. Thank goodness!

P.S. My hubby and I have been doing the "Single Ladies" dance around the house all night. It's very addicting! :P

The football scene was beyond hilarious! Ryan Murphy is a freakin' genius.

I wanted to hear the Acafellas sing again! Love them.

I hope Acafellas will be back some time again.

Though Single ladies is the best performance so far :)
