Good eppy again. I like what they do with the characters. Mer has grown so much. I loved her final scene with Lexie. I'm glad they became sisters. BTW Did Mer call the other sister Holly, or did I mishear it? I find it quite funny. I loved Mark and the way he was with Lexie. Also, I love their lunches, I think they should have at least three an eppy. It's always hilarious. And last, but not least - Cristina. She cracked me every minute she was on. |

The last eppy was the weakest, I agree. But I still like the season. I don't liek the merger and the new stuff as they are all written so poorly. Izzy's departure was heart-breaking. Poor Alex. |

I am NOT happy about Izzy's departure and wasn't a fan of the last episode. I guess I'm going to have to find out if KH is really gone gone. Hubby told me I'm not suppose to like the new doctors on purpose. I get that but it didn't make it any easier to watch. I wanted to smack that bitch that put her stuff on George's shelf! |

I don't have any complaints about the season so far. I liked Cristina's breakdown, Callie vs. her father, and Izzie's firing in this one (no, Heigl's not gone, Gate...). With Sarah Drew (with the red book, Lexi's new enemy) joining the cast, we've got three of the Mad Men wives on Thursday night shows... Alison Brie (Pete's wife) on Community, Peyton List (Roger's wife) on Flashforward, and Sarah Drew (Sal's wife) on Grey's... |

I like Sarah Drew and I was looking forward to seeing her there. I don't like the other girl, I never do. I didn't like her in Everwood, she was annoying on Heroes and now here. |

I just watched this week's episode and I thought it was okay. I'm really upset about Izzie's departure but I understand why the show had to write it like that but I'm just hoping that when she returns to the show Izzie gets her job back. I could see how hard it was on the Chief letting her go. This man is going to have a nervous breakdown over this whole ordeal. It was nice hearing Christina bring up Burke again. I would LOVE it if Preston Burke came back to Seattle Grace. I really liked that character. I understand why the actor was asked to leave the show but I think he's been punished long enough. I wouldn't mind him coming back to the show. That could be the thing that brings Christina back to Cardio. There wasn't much McDreamy in this weeks episode and there wasn't any McSTEAMY!!! Hopefully we get more next week. I'm not so crazy about this whole merger thing either. I hate seeing all these doctor's walking around in those orange scrubs and seeing the hospital now being called Seattle Grace Mercywest Hospital. I HATE IT!! I just want it to end..I sort of understand why they're trying to do this..to see if the show can pass this test of changes in the ratings in order to survive long term like ER did but I don't know, I guess it's just gonna take some getting use to. I didn't like Lexie at first either when all the new interns came to work but I've grown to love the character so maybe I'll eventually embrace this change too? I don't know..we'll see!! With that being said I still LOVE this show and I won't be throwing in the towel over these changes!! |

I hate the "oranges", I really do. Like Ben in Lost. I don't mind new characters in general, but GA has such a huge cast. With KH filming and Ellen's maternity leave, I thought it would be great to give space to other characters but they bring the new ones instead. I don't like the way the new ones were introduced and forced on us. Hate the short hair girl most (Everwood's Launey, Heroes' Eve?). Apart from that, I lvoe my GA, great scenes with Mer. Also, I loved the lunch when they realzied the pumpkins were not eating and working instead. The last scene just broke my heart, seeing Alex like that again. |

One pumpkin out, three more to go :)))) Sorry, I couldn't help. I just hate the concept of bringing on so many new people and ignoring the cast. This aside, I loved the eppy. Great acting, writing, cutting :) Different than usual, but nicely done. I felt for the pumpkin when she had to tell on the other one. I loved Derek - the voice of reason and Cristina's speech at the end was great when she said it could had been any of them. Poor Lexie, I wanted to run and hug her. But she put herself together and was strong for the patient. |

OMG.....Derek's speech to the Chief at the end about whose fault it REALLY was that the patient died was spot on! Those doctors need to be working together to save lives, not against each other. Good stuff! Loved Kristina telling Mer "We need more us's so hurry up and get back." LOL! LOL......"Nosedive"......Alex has the best nicknames. He's like Sawyer in Lost. Confusing eppy but still good. My hubby watched the entire episode with me and he doesn't always do that. I like it when he does that! |

Critina/Mer scene at the beginnign was hilarious. Cristina being on a time-out so she won't kill anyone and then suggesting to Mer to make one fo the pumpkins to forge Bailey's signature and get them fired for it. She rocked. Derek and Chief - what a great scene. |

>> I just hate the concept of bringing on so many new people and ignoring the cast. But it's not that at all. The Mercy West 'invaders' are guest actors in the same way the patients-of-the-week are - their purpose is to bounce off of our people and give our cast something to DO... And with the show temporarily down Heigl (for a movie) and Pompeo (for maternity leave - for all intents and purposes, she's 'out', though she hasn't/won't be entirely absent from any episodes)... there's nothing wrong with the injection of new blood here. Also, the show began the year with five couples together (only Bailey is recently single, and... Chief and Adele are still 'off' right now, right?). It's a soap - it's unlikely all five couples will STILL be intact by the end of a season... so they NEED new guys and girls in there to be spoilers... I like that Spoiler: click to toggle I think that's fun.

Am I the only one who loved the last two eppys? 607 - I loved it was all about Derek and his voice over was a ncie change. I like when they play with the voice over. I like the best when all of them comment on. The eppy was extremely intense, slightly predictable but on a good way. I do like the way they deal with Ellen's pregnancy, I like that Mer is around and connected with Ellen working less. 608 - I love Arizona more and more, I was bit sceptical when they brought her in as I thought they did a poor job with Hahn and as she came as a love itnerest for Callie I had no faith in Shonda making it right this time, but she did. Arizona is an excellent additon to the canvas and I like Callie and Arizona more and more, they had amazing scenes together. I liked Cristina SL as well. Both eppys were quite sad, but nicely written. I just love this season. |

Alex holding that little "premie" baby next to his chest WITH HIS SHIRT OFF made me melt. Awwwwww!!! This really would be the perfect time for Burke to come back. I couldn't believe Kristina went directly against Owen's orders like that. She's a piece of work, that one. Love her, though! |

I missed GA so much. Liked the new eppy, the beginning was hilarious. The ending was heart breaking. I'm glad Mer told Derek the truth. I'm curious about the whole Teddy / Cristina / Owen thing. I like that there's no bad guy there and I do feel for all of them. Bummed about Lexie and Mark break up. Alex and Izzy, too :( |

I didn't know you watched PP Dax. It's been very good all season. I was so sad about the Lexie/Mark breakup and devastated with with the Lexie/Alex hookup. I was scream STOP at the TV set and expecting Izzy to walk through the door. Loved Bailey trying to convince Derick she was in a relationship with that patient. Fun stuff. |

>> I didn't know you watched PP, Dax. Oh, yeah... since the start. Have always liked it, but I agree it's been especially good lately. (Grey's, I was 'late' on... had to dvd-marathon the first three seasons...) I'm okay with the Lexie/Mark break-up. Should lead to lots of fun stuff... |

I just think the break up was weird, to rushed and well, I can manage the break up, but I don't like what followed. Especially in PP. I started to believe Mark had changed. I agree that PP has been really good lately, well, it started in the second season already. First was difficultt for me to get through, but I love it now almost as much as GA. |

Mark HAS changed, is what the PP chapter was showing. Sure, considering dumping his life in Seattle for one in LA as a grandpa/Dad is, um, ABRUPT, but when Addy seriously asks him to slow down and 'is this for me?'... he apologized, admitting it wasn't, the right thing. And Addison's confused and desperate and broken enough (and concerned enough about what's going on between her and Sam, and what that will do to Naomi) that of COURSE she's going to think Mark is a viable solution to her problems... it was RUSHED storytelling, yeah, but they've got the background to back up any of the character choices there... I thought it was all very well-written. And (... and I know we're really in the wrong show thread here, but oh, well...) these Cooper/Charlotte break-up scenes have been brutal and the performances are just terrific... and Dell and Heather's death... heartbreaking stuff... |

But as PP followed GA this week, we can sort of include both :) Charlotte / Coop really broke my heart. Not sure when, but I became a huge Charlotte fan and in this relationship, I'm sort of always on her side. As for Mark, I didn't like that one day he wants to raise his kid and grandkid with lexie and next day with Addison, not cool. He pledged his "love" (not sure if they were using the word already) for Lexie and then he wants to move in with someone else? That's what bugged me so much. I know Addie and him go way back, but still. But to be hoenst, I loved the eppy anyway, I'm not sure how to describe it, but PP always plays with my emotions, in a good way. |

http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/03/11/greys-anatomy-katherine-heigl-leaving/ Izzie was in 6.1-5, 9, and 12. Were those seven shows (only six, if you count the aired-as-one-but-still-kinda-felt-like-two-separate-ones season premiere as one and not two) worth keeping Heigl on the payroll and Izzie alive this season, or should she have joined George spiritually on his last elevator ride? What I want to know with the 'didn't show up to work on March 1st'/'sitting home ready TO work' thing... was she or was she not written into the script for that week's show? Did she no-show or did they not actually invite her?... Last we saw... Izzie told Alex she's ready to come back, but he said he'd slept with someone... Derek was promising Meredith he'd try to get her back (there, or another hospital?... I forgot... anybody remember?), but it fell through somehow, for some reason... |

Whew on that spoiler about the docs checking out. I don't even know who they are.....haha! I'm thinking I'm kinda over the Katherine Heigl stuff too. She should just leave already so Alex can move on. I've almost forgotten Izzie anyway at this point since I like Alex and Lexie together. |

This week's cover (exclusive!): Katherine Heigl confirms 'Grey's Anatomy' departure by Michael Ausiello Posted Image One of TV’s longest-running dramas has finally (and officially) come to an end: Katherine Heigl confirms in this week’s exclusive Entertainment Weekly cover story — penned by yours truly! — that she is leaving Grey’s Anatomy. “I am done,” declares Heigl. “We just finalized our agreement. Everyone had been working really hard to find an amicable and gracious way of letting go and moving on. It’s sad but it’s what I wanted.” The 31-year-old actress reveals that it was family issues, not her burgeoning film career, that prompted her to approach series creator Shonda Rhimes and ask to be let out of her contract 18 months early. “I started a family and it changed everything for me,” says Heigl, who took a three-month family leave from Grey’s this season to bond with her newly-adopted daughter, Naleigh. “It changed my desire to work full-time.” Although she was scheduled to appear in this season’s final five episodes, that is no longer happening. As a result, the Jan. 21 episode was her last as Izzie. “I know I’m disappointing the fans,” she says. “I just had to make a choice. I hope I made the right one.” The wide-ranging and candid Q&A, during which Heigl comes clean about every aspect of her rocky six-year tenure — including the fights (Isaiahgate), the feuds (Emmygate), the controversies (Gizzie), and the mistakes she made along the way (17-hour daygate) — hits newsstands on Friday. Look for additional excerpts (as well as details on the afternoon I spent last week in, ahem, Heigl’s home) tomorrow morning right here. In the meantime, share your thoughts on Heigl’s departure below. And congratulate me on my second EW cover story! |

I'm bummed about izzie's departure. because there was not any. I wanted to know it was her last eppy. I wanted a better goodbye and a clean sldie for Alex. First of all, I hate izzy's gone. She used to be a great character, preGeorge and I miss the old Izzy. I find it weird they didn't want to make at least one eppy with a proper send-off. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with the show this year. PS: Jessica Capshaw and her hubby are expectin in RL :) |

http://www.greyswriters.com/2010/05/shonda-rhimes-on-sanctuary-and-death-and-all-his-friends.html http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/05/21/greys-anatomy-season-finale-scoop/ Very intense couple of hours there. Edge of your seat, holding your breath... lots of OMG moments... Yang continuing to operate with a gun to her head demanding she stop... that's pretty hardcore. It was funny a couple times when Clark would come on (like in the elevator with Cristina early on, and then the final confrontation with Richard) and the music score would always theme him a little like when the MIB appears on Lost, and then there's an ad in the corner of the screen FOR Lost... I'm glad they didn't cliffhang us over the summer, leaving Alex and/or Derek dangling... I wouldn't mind Jackson or April becoming series regulars now. It's already been fairly assumed that he would be, for awhile... So. Last year, they ended with George dead, Alex/Izzie married (but she's kinda sorta dead), Derek/Meredith, Mark/Lexie, Callie/Arizona, and Owen/Cristina. Five couples, Bailey single... (I can never keep track of the 'on again' or 'off again' for Richard and Adele... she DID take him back, right?... but then... was she gone during his time off the wagon? What about now, where he's six months sober?...) Now we have Izzie gone (very good scene, Alex calling for her), Alex and Lexie 'together', but tenuously, and Mark wants her back... Arizona and Callie just got back together after a big hiccup... Der/Mer still together, no major problems... Bailey's dating (but her guy will have to go - he's a regular on 'Off The Map' next season - I was thinking he'd be shot last night)... I really like the Cristina/Owen/Teddy triangle. There are no bad guys, and Cristina 'needs' Teddy around... I think they've had a lot of the best story material this season. |
