Promoted Class
[ * * * ]
(Duth)
Spider: The ruling class of the Secranea Kingdom are anthropomorphic spiders. They place importance on elegance and are what caused the kingdom to become so advanced in the arts. Every spider in the kingdom is an aristocrat of some sort. Every spider seen is also female; the males are said to be small, unintelligent and of no importance. As spiders, they can make silk which allows them to craft beautiful fabrics that have aided in their art advancement, as well as other spider abilities that they don't go into with outsiders. Also, they're SPIDERS.

Sharl: These are small (no more than a foot tall), furry rodents with hard shells like that of Buzzy Beetles. The shell ranges from a color of magenta to yellow; the closer to magenta, the higher-ranked they are in the kingdom, though this has no bearing on the Sharl itself, and they tend to mate rather freely among different colors (though it's becoming more common for magentas to only pair with magentas and only orange willing to pair with yellow.) Magenta-shells get to be personal servants and attendants of aristocratic spiders (which means any spider); scarlet-shells get high positions in the government, red-shells get lower positions, orange-shells are not allowed as part of the government, and yellow-shells are actively detested by most spiders and left to the poorest areas of the kingdom. Most sharls, especially those in the government, are often pawns and toadies, and even the yellow-shells don't complain too often, most accepting the idea that their yellow shell makes them inferior. THIS WAS A LONG DESCRIPTION

Chameleon: Unlike the spiders and sharls, these live outside Secranea in rather equal amounts, but don’t live in the Phoenix Kingdom so of the main kingdoms they’re only in Secranea. There they are looked upon with slight disdain by the ruling spiders. While some say they are treated as second-class citizens, others say that being treated as such still puts them at higher status than in some kingdoms, saying Secranea is so advanced that even the worst of them have it good. Ultimately, though, they have no official power in Secranea.

Phial: Rulers of the Phoenix Kingdom, the phial are stocky, red and orange birds. They appear sort of like phoenixes, but have the body shape more of a chicken with a straighter back, shorter neck, and longer wing and skulls. They also have glaring eyes like white fire. They are flightless, and though they look fiery have no particular fiery attributes, though many do have a preference for fire weaponry like flamethrowers. They are aggressive and fight against others; when they aren’t unified under a single leader, they will often fight amongst themselves. They focus on military and weapon advancement; their bodies are actually somewhat physically weak and small, but they make up for it with firepower.

Crogg: These are creatures in the Phoenix Kingdom that are essentially craggy rocks with a face, and two appendages that function as both arms and legs. However, the phial have designed suits that most croggs use, suits that act as much larger bodies of various forms, ranging from humanoid to more beast or machine-like. The croggs operate these from the heads using their arms/legs. The suits themselves are mechanical on the inside, but covered in a rock layer that mimics the appearance of the crogg. Because of this, most croggs operate under the phial, largely because the phial know how the suits work and the croggs lack the mechanical expertise to build or repair the suits.

Ulu: Ulus are a species of nomadic, mysterious creatures living in the desert. They are no more than a foot tall and all wear desert cloaks that hide their true appearance, though a few claim to have seen a glimpse of them and that they are red, though others say blue. They tend to keep to themselves and act mysterious, but are kindhearted and willing to help those stranded in the desert. They also sometimes speak in riddles.

Vulture: Most of the vultures on the planet keep to themselves, often residing in desert areas and holing up in caves by themselves. Most of them seem to lack fear, and their habit of eating the remains of dead travelers have led many to fear them and create stories of terror about them. Some vultures have become mercenaries, some embracing these stories. It is simply not in their nature to be distraught at people thinking such things of them.

(Sub)
Sky Keepers

A mysterious, reclusive and odd race, the Sky Keepers are floating transparent balloon-like creatures. They have two small arms on their underside, coated with nerve endings that can give out a small electrical discharge. Their bodies are perfectly transparent, their brains and organs visible through their skin. They can be characterized by their strange glowing eyes, which can change luminosity depending on the amount of light in their surroundings.

Sky Keepers are a friendly race, but usually keep to the Flotilla, a mass of floating ruins from an unknown civilization thousands of years ago, possibly the forerunners of the Sky Keepers. The Sky Keepers are a traditional species, and keep to old rituals that keep the Flotilla in working order. Because of this, they bar much of the ruin off to outsiders, so nobody knows what secrets the Flotilla hides or even how it manages to stay afloat.

Krace

The Krace are a race of red, muscular humanoid creatures with face tentacles resembling that of a common octopus. The Krace are suited for jungle environments, and are known for averaging around seven feet. However, the Krace are tribal and warlike, and are constantly fighting one another for resources, slaves and land.

The Krace are originally from the Outerlands, however when the Spiders discovered them hundreds of years ago they managed to convince several large tribes that there was a new forest in their kingdom that they could rule. The tribes agreed to be transplanted, unaware of the other tribes that were taken with them. The Spiders gave them access to the jungle on the border of the Phoenix Kingdom, where they discovered the other tribes and fought. The Spiders then drove them over the border, where they came into conflict with the Phoenix Kingdom’s forces. The battle was long and bloody, but eventually the Phoenix Kingdom pushed them back over the border. While the surviving tribes war to this day, the remaining Krace have not forgotten the Spider’s treachery, though they unknowingly are continually manipulated by them.

Star

Heegios- A red subgiant star, Heegios is named after the (insert main planet name here) legend of a suit of spider silk that gave the wielder power over the movement of the sea and the stars. Heegios is brighter than most main sequence stars, and is in the process of halting its fusion of hydrogen. This will lead to the eventual expansion as a red giant in the near ten million years.

Kingdoms

(Duth)
Secranea Kingdom: Considered to be one of the highest-classed kingdoms on the planet, the Secranea Kingdom put high effort into artistic endeavors and elegance. The government is highly aristocratic, but they work to keep all citizens enlightened, educated, and satisfied. It does, however, have quite strict control over its citizens.

Phoenix Kingdom: Considered one of the most aggressive kingdoms on the planet, the Phoenix Kingdom is right next door to the Secranea Kingdom. It is highly militaristic, and before the Federation arrived would often invade other kingdoms, though the invasion tended to ravage the land which made them have to seek out more land. They were never able to invade the Secranea Kingdom, though, but they still try, even now that the Federation is there.

(Sub)
Wharfgrade

Wharfgrade is a small kingdom north of the Phoenix and Spider Kingdoms. Because of its small size and lack of natural resources, it remains a merchant haven and a center for trade with the Outerlands. Wharfgrade is a conglomerate of different races, though they are predominantly ruled by a race of shark creatures. The nation is strongly religious, and adopted the Federation’s Church of the Light (while blending it with Atlasian traditions). It seeks to curry favor of the Federation should another war break out between the two kingdoms.

Wharfgrade has been invaded by the Phoenix Kingdom and Spider Kingdom several times in the past, until the rise of corporations early in the 1900s when corporations began to take root in the kingdom. Then it became a sort of free trade zone, and neutral ground between the two conflicting kingdoms. Now Wharfgrade is a different sort of battleground, its a bustling city-kingdom where the different major corporations of the planet compete and trade. Beacon holds one of their major planetary offices in this kingdom. The kingdom, while rich and booming, is known for a large lower class and a vast criminal underworld as well as being the planetary center for the black market.

Planets

Inferno

The closest planet to Heegios, Inferno is a bright yellow planet with an atmosphere of sulfur and carbon dioxide. It is considered a pressure cooker planet, reaching temperatures of over 800 degrees Celsius, far beyond the survivable temperature of any known species, even with hostile environment suits. Only robotic drones have been sent to survey the surface, but the thick atmosphere and high temperatures prevent any prolonged missions.

Harrav

The second planet from Heegios, Harrav was a planet that showed evidence of being terraformed hundreds of thousands of years ago, as its position in the system should not be home to any form of life. It is a rocky desert world with a limited supply of water, which has been the focal point for many conflicts on the surface. Harrav is home to one sentient race, the Angellics, who are a dark purple violent humanoid race who are known for their environmental protection suits, which mask their faces with a large armored gas mask.

The planet became a focal point in 2021 when the Angellics went into open revolt against the Galactic Federation forces in the system. Currently the planet is fighting a war against the occupation forces, and is a stronghold for Axis Revolution activities in the sector.

Animalia

This might be Animal Crossing World I don’t know I’ll have to ask Chibi and Kyle if they think they’d want to do it.

Newworld

Insert Top’s stuff here. Fourth planet.

The Belt of Heegios

While not a planet, the small belt of Heegios is an asteroid belt separating the inner planets from the outer ring of the system. It is small and easy to navigate as far as asteroid belts go, many having drifted away from Heegios. There are some large asteroids in the belt, some of which have their own gravitational field and are the size of small planets. Prospectors of the system have set up mining bases here, hoping to extract the aluminum that most of the belt houses.

Adeuos

The largest planet in the sector, Adeuos is a bright green gas giant. It is somewhat of a tourist attraction because of its strange coloration, with some space stations orbiting the planet. Overall this is just because I wanted a planet of no real significance.

Heggios VI

Heggios VI was a planet owned by the Beacon cooperation, now jointly owned by the Federation and Beacon. The center of commerce in and out of the sector, Heggios VI is a blue gas giant with various refueling and space stations orbiting it. The space stations are ruled by independent governments that maintain a sort of order, though these stations are often seen as the center of criminal activity. With the colonization of Atlas, the planet came under joint ownership of the Galactic Federation. It is one of the few places in the Starlight Galaxy to have a working blackspace relay.

Let's be weird

THE EXODUS KINGDOM

There is another universe whose path has crossed with this one many times. After much strife over the colossal powers present in that world, it experienced an event known as The Inverse. During that time, many creatures near its center hurried to escape to other lands. Quite a few of them ended up here, in this universe. Banding together, they sought out a fertile land where they could survive. Thus, they came upon Atlas.

Even as they did so, however, they had a tough time getting along. Many of their original numbers are gone, especially among the Demons, who were particularly disliked. Other races, such as the Praffs, have reverted to an archaic slavelike status. The Exodus society has been difficult to unite. After several years of settlement on their land on Atlas, the infrastructure of this kingdom is only just now starting to go up.

EXODUS RACES

Demon
The powerful Demons come in many different forms, wearing skin that may be jet black, blood red, or a deep green. The only thing that really defines Demons as a single race is their origin: Hell. Too much time spent there is said to change a person at least partially into one, and even affect them genetically, causing their children to inherit the effects. A young Demon ages twice as fast as a Human until adulthood, upon which their aging slows down dramatically. Lifespans usually pass 100 years, and records show Demons over 400 years old. They love sex and violence, but contrary to popular belief many are very kindhearted.

Salamander
Said to share a common origin with Humans, the Salamanders have similar body shapes, but are smaller both in build and in stature, rarely growing to more than 5 feet. Their lifespans are also shorter, only 50 years, reaching adulthood after only 15. In that time they learn to move with great agility, and they are the fastest runners among the known races. They have crimson skin and unique eye colors compared to Humans. This race tends to keep to itself, but is easily influenced by more advanced cultures.

Azaid
If your planet has major oceans or large lakes, it's likely that a small kingdom of Azaid lives somewhere in them. Their body shapes resemble mythical mermaids, but they are completely covered in copper or silver colored scales. It takes 30 years for one to reach adulthood, and they usually live to about 90. They can live in salt or fresh water, and their highly organized societies build vast underwater networks to communicate with other Azaid nations on the same planet. Land-based races, on the other hand, rarely see them.

Abiah
Known as the butterflies of civilization, Abiah are entirely subject to their life cycles, which last a mere ten years. Due to this, they have very impulsive tendencies. They are born resembling orange turtles about a foot long, although their shells are underdeveloped and soon disappear. After about two years, an Abiah can stand on two legs and already possesses the strength and intelligence of a young teenager. During the next four years, they slowly grow to their full size, which is about 7-9 feet from head to tail. At this point the Abiah is an extremely intelligent and strong lizard-like creature. However, during the next few years, age will quickly reverse this until death.

Praff
In multiracial societies, a Praff is typically at the bottom. Slow-witted, selfless and lovable, they tend to be given jobs that pay only in food--and a Praff will eat anything. It also inhales air into its stomach, as it has no lungs. Depending on how well-fed it is, a Praff's round, blue body will vary in diameter even over the course of a day. It has long, thin arms and stubby legs that will last it until the end of its life after 30 years. They are usually behind the scenes in busy jobs such as construction and domestic service, although recently they can be seen starring in comedy movies and TV.

Goar
The brutish Goars have lived for thousands of years, and managed to preserve their ancient traditions while also reaping the benefits of modern advancements. Every Goar spends the first 20 years of its life in survival training. The last year is a test of these things learned, upon passing which the individual is considered an adult. After this, they are integrated into society and finally taught the ways of technology to live out the rest of their lifespan, which tends to around 130 years. They resemble large apes, with tall faces and large tusks extending from their wide mouths. Their hair is typically a shade of brown or grey.

Shallow
The typical Shallow has at least one notable intellectual accomplishment. Some are scientists and engineers, while others are sorcerers or historians. Whatever the pursuit, their large heads help them accomplish it, attached to shoulders carrying any number of arms--some have only one, others appear to have an array of tentacles. In any case, these arms are extremely thin like their long bodies and legs. Their skins absorb light almost actively, making for a rather creepy shadow. They are usually about 6 feet tall, and live to about 90 years after becoming adults at the age of 15.

THE "AU"

This strange organization goes by many names. However, all of said names seem to have the initials AU for some reason: the Ascending Union, the Affluent Uprising, the Atlas Undertakers... Not much is known about them, except that they came to Atlas seeking gold. Gold seems to be extremely important to them, and they will obtain it at all costs.

It's made up of creatures called the Aurines. These are tall, sinewy creatures that appear to have little bone structure, as evidenced by their long, rubbery limbs. At the end of these are their big, sharp claws. Their heads look like helmets, with round, insectlike eyes and a diamond shape on the forehead. They also have lines of unintelligible runes across their chests.

If that wasn't enough description have a crappy picture.
