| Welcome to Brotherhood of Sithis. We hope you enjoy your visit. You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. This means you are limited to certain aspects of the board and there are some features you cannot use. If you would like to join our Elder Scrolls based community, you must create a character within the lore of the Elder Scrolls and write them a back story. Our story began approximately a year after the Oblivion Crisis, and it ranges all over Tamriel. Each Province is represented and usable. Please take the time to read the back stories of those who are already here before you write yours, so we do not have repeats of ideas. (Great minds, after all, do think alike!) We now have a section that takes place during and after the events in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This section does not in any way interact with the old one. Again, you are most welcome here! Once your story is complete, join up and post it! A Speaker will contact you, and you will be able to join a Sanctuary. Or, if you would rather not be a member of the Brotherhood, you can request to play another faction. It is rather flexible and good. If you have any questions, feel free to email Shivani at anonymous_celt@yahoo.com. Please note that The Elder Scrolls, The Dark Brotherhood, Sithis, and several of the NPCs are all owned by Bethesda Softworks. Join our community! The Listener
|
Double posting....here is the new Listener for Skyrim -Ladies and Gentlemen...Lokir Warblade! He is a Nord, but has been out of the main life of Skyrim for a while. He studied in High Hrothgar from an early age. His older brother and Father were both Stormcloaks and when his Mother died, and he completed his training, he came back down from the Monahven to sign up too. He wore the armour and was on his way to Windhelm when he learned that his Father had been killed and his brother had been taken for interrogation by the Thalmor. He found out where he was being held and went on a killing rampage to get to his brother. He found him, barely alive and out of his mind, hanging from chains. Someone touched his shoulder and he spun round, stabbing them. It was another Stormcloak. When he turned back to his brother, he was dead. He ran, took off the armour and went into hiding in Windhelm. While there, he heard about a child who was trying to contact The Dark Brotherhood. He asked him about it and undertook to kill the old woman who was terrifying and being cruel to the orphans. The Brotherhood found him. Edited by Lucien, Jun 30 2012, 01:52 PM.

Yeah, don't feel bad, Jhared. I didn't make up my new character's name. I got it from Shivani. This name came from a baby that died; a member of her family. I want to honor the memory. The character's name is Zahava. It's sounds Khajiiti enough for me! As I want her to be almost a complete mystery, I'm not going to give too much away. She's from the Corinth Sanctuary in Elsweyr. She never made it to Cheydinhal when her Sanctuary was closed. She's been tracking Cicero. I'll post a picture when I get a decent one! |

Here is my Nord Mage. Just slightly different from Thoryn! Oops! Sorry! I forgot to post his back story and I have had Lucien (well his player) up my nose since I posted! *Sigh* Brothers! Ouch! I forgot he is reading over my shoulder.... So, anyway...back story! My Nord is a pure Mage. He rarely uses a weapon apart from his magic. He is a Master of Destruction and became the Arch Mage in the College of Winterhold very rapidly. Magically gifted from a young age, he is a bit of a loner, as magic is rather distrusted in Skyrim. He is content to leave the day to day running of the College in Tolfdir's capable hands while he travels about, doing other things. After having to pay a large bounty for laminating a wall with several Thalmor, and having one of their assassins after him, he joined the Brotherhood. They had just moved to Dawnstar, and he is the magical prodigy in the Sanctuary. That , basically, is the story of my game character, so I kept him and his name, which is Freyr Ysmirson. I hope you like him! Edited by Lucien, Jun 1 2012, 11:25 PM.

High Chancellor/Eliminator

At risk of seeming to be boring, I decided to opt for another Altmer. He is called Elidor and is a refugee from the Summerset Isles. He has headed for Skyrim as he sees there the only major war against the Thalmor Supremacy. As a member of the Altmer elite, he saw his family and those of his friends wiped out or driven into exile. He started on the road to killing every Thalmor and their allies that he could see. jHe oined the Stormcloaks, rising to the rank of an Officer. Hearing rumours of a Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, after the war, he found his way to Dawnstar. Here is Elidor. Edited by Ocato, Mar 7 2013, 10:14 PM.

Here is my Nord, Brit Kogaan. She has been a Companion, but left when she lost her heart to one of them and he always seemed to be her friend only. She has wandered all over Skyrim, and found the Dawnstar sanctuary by chance. She camped on the doorstep until Cicero found her. |

Ok, ok, I've got a final Tanyin. She's kind of a mix of the first two I posted. And, what's perfect, is she could be mistaken for a man if she's wearing the right armor, even playing without mods :D |

Well, here is my Breton Mage. I made him a while ago, but I'm now concerned he may look a bit like Jhared's Mage! If so, sorry brother, I'll change him! Anyway. He is called Tynan Stentor and has the usual Breton plusses. Born and raised in High Rock, he was brought to Skyrim as a teen when his parents were undertaking research in alchemy. He loves the Province and all things Nord, so decided to stay. Bandits killed his Mother and his father died hunting them down. Tynan, a much stronger Mage, succeeded and killed the bandits. He then made it his task to hunt down and kill bandits frequenting the roads and caves of Skyrim. He drifted naturally into the Brotherhood. |

Well, I'm rushing my character in, before I have no choice! I am being a Nord in the new bit. I love being J'Ghasta, but when I start thinking, "This one should clean his boots" I think a little change might be good! :D Here he is, my Nord! He's called fenrig of Windhelm and he is kind of based on, well, me! :$ He is a Stormcloak through and through, but started on the path of attacking any and all Thalmor he met on the roads. Cost him a fortune in bounty, but he still does it, only now - he's learned to be sneaky! |

Ah! J'Ghasta beat me to it! I decided to break the mould. I will be an Imperial! Born and brought up in Skyrim! I haven't the rest of his story yet, but I'll post it when I do. He's called Lucan (well, I had to...) Loreius. His black hair is long and tied back in a rogue knot-that's where the similarities end! I see that J'Ghasta hit the qasmoke option too, and fancied Tsun's armour too! :D

You know, for someone who started out with an idea, I sure am late in posting!! This is Thaedil. Her eyes, as you can see, are NOT green... but only because the game wouldn't let me! Yes, I'm pouting. >.> Theadil is a Bosmeri Beast Master. She loves animals of all kinds, and spends as much time hunting with wolves as other wolves do! She was born in Valenwood, but her family fled the Thalmor. Her parents were both killed around a hundred years ago. She doesn't talk about them. She hates conflict on large scales, and doesn't mind killing people who get on her nerves. She's rather poor, as she doesn't really care about material possessions. She lives in caves, huddling with wolves for warmth in storms. The Forsworn get on her nerves. |

Don't feel too bad, Nerussa. At least your character's different from your current one! This is Sava the Cold. Big shock here: she's a Nord! And a Stormcloak. I'm getting brownie points for originality here, right? NOT. Hey, I AM a cold blooded Nord, and I'm a Navy woman. So... this is normal. Yup, she has facial scarring too. Little secret: ALL of my characters have them. Why? I have them! It adds character to a face! And I love the tattoo. I might get one... in ten years. LOL Sava doesn't have much of a story yet. She's just a generic Stormcloak right now. Update: She is an orphan. She was partially raised in High Hrothgar. She left to join the Stormcloaks. She has a twin brother that she barely remembers. Separated as toddlers. She was in love, but he died... It happens in war times! She respects Ulfric, and he is one of her only friends. She does not like or trust mages. Well, having been, ahem, instructed by the lovely Arielle to stop faffing about and make a new character for Skyrim - here he is!He is Bosmer-guaranteed non annoying, and is called Niruin. His family were wiped out, as so many were in Valenwood, by the Thalmor. He fled to Skyrim with his friend, Malborn. A Blades agent tried to recruit them both, but Niruin refused. Malborn accepted. Niruin stayed nearby, in Solitude until the Thalmor headquarters was moved to Castle Dour. he then fled, finding the Dawnstar sanctuary quite by chance. Hi is a skilled archer and very adept with a lockpick. He can summon an animal familiar and has the usual perks of his race. He is good natured and friendly. Loves the ladies! Oh, and the picture? Couldn't resist the challenge set by the two gentlemen in Tsun's armour - so I got it myself! Not just for Nords! :D (No amulet of Talos, you notice!) Edited by Janus, Jun 4 2012, 06:17 PM.

I have been watching everyone posting new characters for Skyrim here, and I have wanted to join in. First, my big confession which the Listener has been very kind to keep for me.....M'Aiq is played by a ...22 year old girl! :$ I kept it quiet as someone was needed to play M'Aiq, and i have always liked him, so I volunteered. However, now, on the new part of the Forum, I thought I would play-a girl! :D She is Dunmer, quite young, and called Elvali Neloren. A refugee from Morrowind, she was almost immediately rounded up by a group of bandits. They took her to their hideaway and used her as a servant and convenient bed warmer for three weeks. They didn't misuse her in any way but that, but she waited her time. During the three weeks, she gathered loose arrows that she found, When she had enough, she stabbed the robbers with them as they slept. She ran off into the wilds of the mountains and succumbed to hypothermia. She was found by a Dark Brother and taken to the Sanctuary. She has taken to the life there very happily, but wishes to find out the identity of the one who saved her. |

Executioner in Chief

Well, I have no huge secret like M'Aiq's player... I'm just me! And I like to break molds. A LOT. This is Alvor. His mother was a Dres. His father was a Hlaalu. He has no magical talents to speak of, being a very typical Dunmer man. He is a master of sneaking and stealing. That's all I know about him right now, sorry. More later! Editing!!! Okay, after a lot of plotting with some serious help from Minx -- thank you, by the way, you are wonderful -- I have worked out a bit more about him. Alvor was born in Morrowind as the result of his sire forcing himself on his mother. She fled the entire Province with her 5 year old son when the man found out that she'd conceived and wanted his son. She raised him in the Riften area, on a farm. Eventually, he went to Morrowind to seek revenge for his mother. While there, he met some of his prominent Dres relatives and was given Porphyric Hemophelia. He returned to his mother with his sire's ring as proof that he'd killed the man, but his mother was gone. The farm house had been burnt out, and she was just gone. He has been searching Skyrim for her, using his skills as a thief and a fighter to earn him enough to move around. Alvor IS a thief, but he will have nothing to do with the motley crew that is Skyrim's Thieves Guild. He likes Brynjolf. That's were that stops. Edited by Vicente, Jun 29 2012, 11:51 AM.

| Tsani | Jun 25 2012, 10:14 PM Post #19 |
|
Tsani Tsani came to Skyrim with her parents' trading caravan, several years ago.The caravan was attacked and robbed, the four Khajiiti traders scattered. She found the guard killed by the roadside when she returned, but of her parents there was no sign. She assumed they were dead, and she had hunted long for their bodies. They, in fact, had returned to Elsweyr, as they thought she had been killed. Homeless, friendless and alone, she had roamed the wilds of Skyrim. Black Briar mercenaries had found her and thought to make her a spy for the Black Briars, but she killed one of them and escaped. She bumped into another Khajiit called J'datharr. He had promised to get her to safety and after travelling with him for a while, he had promised to pass under the swords with her. One morning, she woke to find him gone. Near Windhelm, heart sick and lonely, she had found evidence from the Stable owner that he had been employed as an assassin by the Thalmor and was killed a few weeks after he had left her to fend for herself. Upset and unsure what to do, she had been befriended by another Khajiit female who stopped her on the road, anxious to help her. She promised a safe home, food and a family. Tsani went with the Khajiit whose name was Zahava, and found herself welcomed by the Dark Brotherhood. As a skilled alchemist, she was welcomed into their ranks and found herself part of a growing and special family. She is quite tiny for a Khajiit, having been born too early, but can be a very dangerous opponent if need be. She is warm hearted and kind. Edited by Alani, Aug 21 2012, 12:25 PM.

Alright, alright. The man has informed me that I'm lollygagging! Here is Svenja the Seal. I have been playing her for a few months, actually. Well, on and off. I was trying to come up with a valid back story for her! I had to redo Svenja. There was absolutely nothing in my head for her, personality wise. All that stuff before was just... bleh. The new and... "improved" Svenja is about to his the boards! Svenja is from Morthal. She grew up there, and is rather... dubious about the rumors and things. She's a bounty hunter. She is rarely ever at home, and spends her time travelling between holds and killing bandits. She's been known to gather as many as ten bounties at a time and go off for several weeks to just kill everyone on the list. She wears the Ebony Mail, and some mistake her as a follower of Boethia because of it. This is incorrect. The previous owner of the armor died of a well placed arrow to the eye, which even a drinking Svenja will acknowledge as a very lucky shot. She likes her men like her mead: strong and spicy. She doesn't often give respect, truly, to anyone unless they earn it, but she will give men and women their titles... even if she makes the word an insult. She trusts no one fully, and travels more to avoid others than anything. Her parents are dead. She doesn't talk about them. Her sister is dead. She REALLY wont talk about her. As for how she gets into the Dark Brotherhood... I have no idea yet. I might just... RP her into it. At the request of another, I have included a picture of her without her warpaint. The lighting is different, obviously, and it shows how pale she is. Edited by Arielle, Nov 1 2012, 04:41 PM.

Oh! I keep forgetting to do that! Shame on me! Meet Illana Tullius. Yes, Tullius. Illana is the esteemed General's neice, and she has no time for the rest of her family at all. She's a devout follower of Talos, having been brought up with a few Nordic friends that meant more to her than the rest of the world. Her parents have no idea where she is, as she left them a note and vanished from the Imperial City 10-11 years back. She loves Skyrim, and cherishes her freedom there. She's agile, carefree, happy, and stubborn as a mule. She can cook and sing, but is not known for fighting. A peacemaker by habit, she spends more time in Riften than anywhere. She does not own property there, but often flies under Maven Black-Briar's radar. She is well liked by those who know her, and generous with her praise and cooking. More later! Editing for more! She is now Illana Stonefist (Totally unplanned, that, and thank you to whomever plays Galmar! He's awesome!). And it was just revealed that General Marsus Tullius is not her uncle. He's her father. Dun dun dun! Also, she just confessed to being a "Kissing Kate". Kill 'em and kiss 'em. Edited by Illana, Aug 16 2012, 11:14 AM.

And now... I get to play too! LOL Meet Kara the Dreamer. Her name and father are Nordic. However... as her mother is a Breton, so is she. She spent her early childhood in Bruma, but her father took his family to Skyrim when the war started getting... serious. He joined the Stormcloaks, and her mother took the children to Markarth to get away from the "madness", as she called it. Kara's two brothers were killed in a Forsworn attack, and she has never forgiven her mother for taking them so far away from their father. But her mother is a harsh busybody, and has decided that Kara should be married by the end of the year to Reburrus Quintilius, as he is rich and one can never have too much money. Kara finds the man repulsive, even more so now that he is the Steward of Markarth and fancies himself as important. As he finds Kara to be a beauty, he accepted the marriage contract quickly, and agreed to travel to Riften before the end of the year to make it happen. Kara spends her evenings in the Shrine of Talos, sobbing on the statue's feet, begging for a way out. It is not Talos who answers her. |

Well, as some have seen, I've hopped into the Skyrim RP at long last. Things have begun to settle in my life, so I'm finding time to enjoy myself XD Rinori's story is still in the works. But, she is a vampire, and she is a member of the Thieves Guild. Her specialty is gathering information on anyone and everyone. Uploading two imagines: how she looks as a vampire (though, she should be wearing thieves guild armor), and how she looked before. |

So... almost everyone is playing either multiple characters or different versions of their characters. I was feeling kind of left out. I ran this by Shivani and got permission, so... here are my girls! The older of the two is about 450 years old, and has been all over the place. Originally from the Summerset Isles, she went to Valenwood in her youth and ended up married to a Bosmer. He was killed in a riot and she went to Cyrodiil to get away from the memories. There, she spent most of her time on the road until she was picked up by the Dark Brotherhood for accidentally killing someone who woke her up in an inn. She served the Dread Lord for most of her life before retiring her Blade of Woe to attempt to marry again. That didn't work out, as he turned out to be a Thalmor, whom she then killed for trying to kill her. She then floated from odd job to odd job, debating whether or not to return to the Shadows. Then she met the Flavius family. Isobel Falvius is a descendant from the primate of the sorcerer amd Primate of the Great Chapel of Talos, Arentus Falviu that can be found in Bruma in Oblivion. Isobel was a very small child when Alwean joined her family in their home in the Imperial City as her nurse. Her parents, being nobles in the Emperor's court, rarely had time for her, and she was practically raised by the Altmer. She looks on her now as an aunt or even a mother. When the Thalmor took over the city, her house was burned down, and she and her parents were taken by the Thalmor for "questioning". Alwean searched for them and, when she found them, used her race and beauty to get into where they were holding her family, hoping they were alive. The only one left was Isobel, and she was completely broken. Alwean rescued the girl she raised as her own and killed everyone in her way to get her out of there. She sustained a few injuries in the process, but didn't notice them until days later. She took the girl and fled to her old home/hideout in Cheydinhal where she tried to get the 17 year old Isobel back. The girl would not speak, and the light in her eyes was gone. A few days later, Alwean decided to take her to Skyrim. They are currently in Riften. Alwean has taken them rooms in the Bee and Barb. She is still trying to retrieve her daughter from her silence, and has discovered that she is with child. Isobel vomited and sobbed when the discovery was made, and had to be taken to the Temple of Mara for treatment as she would not stop. Alwean fears for her, and has begun to pray to the Night Mother again, hoping that a solution will be found. |
