Welcome to Brotherhood of Sithis. We hope you enjoy your visit.

You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. This means you are limited to certain aspects of the board and there are some features you cannot use. If you would like to join our Elder Scrolls based community, you must create a character within the lore of the Elder Scrolls and write them a back story. Our story began approximately a year after the Oblivion Crisis, and it ranges all over Tamriel. Each Province is represented and usable. Please take the time to read the back stories of those who are already here before you write yours, so we do not have repeats of ideas. (Great minds, after all, do think alike!)

We now have a section that takes place during and after the events in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This section does not in any way interact with the old one.

Again, you are most welcome here! Once your story is complete, join up and post it! A Speaker will contact you, and you will be able to join a Sanctuary. Or, if you would rather not be a member of the Brotherhood, you can request to play another faction. It is rather flexible and good. If you have any questions, feel free to email Shivani at anonymous_celt@yahoo.com.

Please note that The Elder Scrolls, The Dark Brotherhood, Sithis, and several of the NPCs are all owned by Bethesda Softworks.

I am so sorry to hear that. I had to have my dog, Oscar, put down a couple of years back, and it was a dreadful time. There are no words to express how you must be feeling. Our pets are part of our family, and my heart goes out to you.
She looked a happy little sweetheart, and I'm sure you will agree that your life has been all the richer for having known her. At the end of your road, many years from now, she will be waiting for you, her pains and hurts all gone. In the meantime, she has been released from her hurts. Bless you.

I'm so sorry, Mr.squirreljerky. I know how you feel - I put my rabbit down last year after she developed a fist-sized tumor on the left side of her body. She was my baby and my heart - it killed me inside! Alaysa was a beautiful dog and I sense she is an amazing soul. I send all my love to you! *Glomp*

:') thank you everyone. Your support has made her passing just a little bit easier. We finished burying her and we planted a flower on top of her grave. It is just that the house is so quiet now and I still miss her. :'(

It will take a while, my friend, but knowing that she is no longer in pain should help.

Your going to see the hobbit on friday too :D. I am so excited for it so that makes us LOTR dorks together :D. In my youth group I had won a gift card to our local movie theater in contest by bringing in a lawnmower we had gotten by trading a starwars jigsaw puzzle. :D

Well, that has to be the best way I have ever heard of for winning cinema tickets! Well done.

That is so convoluted and weird but I love it!
And yes I got free passes from my boss and used them to get the tickets.
It will be the most epic double date ever!

That's good to hear-but not unexpected! I'm going tomorrow. I first read it at seven, and loved it. LOTR followed the next year and I have reread (like Sir Christopher Lee!) every year from then on. I joined the Tolkein Society a good few years ago, so yes, I think I may qualify as a Tolkein freak! (Terry Pratchett is another favourite.) I keep hoping they will make the Silmarillion !

I'll tell you after today when I go to see it! I am so glad they decided to make three parts! It is a huge book -though, obviously, not as huge as LOTR! I am so looking forward to it!

Double posting alert! (But I did promise to say after I had seen it, so there you have it!) It was AMAZING! The few slight changes to the story didn't spoil anything and helped the movie to keep up the pace. Wonderful wonderful , WONDERFUL! Part 2 now, please?

I agree, Iniel. Kili? Oh, yes, but Thorin has always been my favourite dwarf-and he was just.....well.....wow!
; )

Does anyone know when Shivani will be getting back? I know it will be in the next few weeks, but if you've got an exact day, that'd be great

No exact day available, sorry, Raqel. Even she didn't know. 6 to 8 weeks she was told, so....soon after the New Year (Jan 6th, perhaps?) or a couple of weeks thereafter. That's the best I can do just now.

Well, we just have to take that as a given, as no information is available right now.

As you were! just received news! Shivani is doing well. She got flu from someone there, but is fine.

Double posting!

Just wanted to congratulate you all for surviving Doomsday! I've lost count of the number I've made it through now. The last was the year 2000. Now get on and enjoy the rest of your lives!

:D - And more Hobbit next year! ;)

Correction: The last was 6/6/06!

My last two doomsdays were very, em... interesting! For 6/6/06, we had tornadoes in the area, and I was camping in some tents with friends! This year, we got hit with a really nasty snowstorm (upwards of 30" of snow in one fall) on the 20th. Fun times!

Glad to hear Shivani is well and that we have lived through yet another doomsday! ;) Aah it's funny. Fallout 3 and Vault 101 come to mind now.

Anywho, I'm also glad to hear you got through all that wild weather alive, Raqel! *Hug* We've had some really heavy rain and hail but that's as bad as it gets over here.

Oh, and I want to wish Lokir a very Happy Birthday today!! :D *Glomps him*

Bluh...work sucks. Now I remember why I don't like Christmas time, it makes me want to kill people! It's a happy, jolly fricking holiday, don't be an ass!
(Not that any of you guys are, I'm just venting.)

I hate the run up to the christmas, but love Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day.

While I'm on the subject, I wish all of our Dark Brotherhood family a very Merry Christmas. I hope it is calm, peaceful, full of love and happiness for you all. I already personally wished a happy Hannukah to our Jewish brethren, and I wish a Happy holiday time to those with no religious affiliations. If I have missed anyone else -then have a great time too!

Here are cards for all of you, Oblivion, and Skyrim themed. I didn't make any of them and credit goes to those who did, known or unknown. I'm still looking for more Oblivion ones!
The last one, with the dragon pulling the sleigh, is Bethesda's own Christmas card for this year. Awesome! Well done, Beth! :D
