| Welcome to Brotherhood of Sithis. We hope you enjoy your visit. You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. This means you are limited to certain aspects of the board and there are some features you cannot use. If you would like to join our Elder Scrolls based community, you must create a character within the lore of the Elder Scrolls and write them a back story. Our story began approximately a year after the Oblivion Crisis, and it ranges all over Tamriel. Each Province is represented and usable. Please take the time to read the back stories of those who are already here before you write yours, so we do not have repeats of ideas. (Great minds, after all, do think alike!) We now have a section that takes place during and after the events in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This section does not in any way interact with the old one. Again, you are most welcome here! Once your story is complete, join up and post it! A Speaker will contact you, and you will be able to join a Sanctuary. Or, if you would rather not be a member of the Brotherhood, you can request to play another faction. It is rather flexible and good. If you have any questions, feel free to email Shivani at anonymous_celt@yahoo.com. Please note that The Elder Scrolls, The Dark Brotherhood, Sithis, and several of the NPCs are all owned by Bethesda Softworks. Join our community! If you're already a member please log in to your account to access all of our features: |

When I find a yellow brick road, I will! As it is, I need two planes minimum to get to London, or a ship and a train to get to Edinburgh, and fly from there. Never mind. We all meet here! |

LOL Where's that Dorothy when you need her? You know, I've never travelled outside of Australia before. I've never even been outside my state (though that'll change in November when I travel to Melbourne with a friend)! It's very exciting to think about (and, if I'm honest, slightly scary)! :D Any tips or advice? |

I think that Shivani and I are the record holders for miles travelled-she for all over the States and across to Scotland - and I, for years traipsing all over Europe! My advice would be to remember that you are a visitor, so be courteous at all times. Read up on where you'll be going, so you miss nothing. Never leave your luggage unattended. Never take anything on your travels on behalf of anyone. Travelling abroad-never let your passport and travellers' cheques out of your hands, unless they are going in the hotel safe. Never accept lifts or get in a taxi alone. Don't get drunk! It sounds bad, but it is just sense, really. Oh, and the biggest, most important bit of advice-have lots of fun, enjoy yourself, take loads of photos and always bring back at least one souvenir from each place! |

Thanks Alani! My friend and I are trying to cover everything before we go but we're always open to advise. As for getting drunk, I'm not a drinker anyway - I go redder than a tomato after one drink! Lol |

I think I might have you all beat for travel... but I don't really count, do I? Hahaha! Have fun, Aundae! (I almost called you Lithium... >.>) I didn't know Australia had states! I guess I learn something new every damn day. Pfft! My stepson is now informing me that I should know that... but he doesn't know what they're called either! Ha! I love this kid so much. |

OMG, Reaper. You sound so domesticated! It's such a change, and I'm so happy for you. Yup, I've been all over hell and creation. LOL If I am not careful, I might end up in Japan in 2-3 years. Either that or frickin Dubai. Bleh. Too hot. I was informed by a Marine wife on Friday that Okinawa is as humid as Florida! Oy vay! Everybody wants those orders, though. The pay over there is crazy good... but it's a pain to get those orders if you're married. So... I probably wont need to worry about it if everything works out. ^^ I'd like to stay in this area... Being deployed to Japan wouldn't be bad, but being based there? I can think of places I would rather go! Like... Scotland! |

I know the base you're talking about, Shivani. I know it WELL. Scotland is a beautiful place. My first time... I thought I had died and gone to Heaven. I'm happy, you know? Finally happy. What a journey to get here! |

Scotland is the shit. I had so much fun there, it shouldn't have been legal! Alani, WAS it legal? LOL Um... Lucien? I don't remember where Nazir and your Dunmer were going... sorry. I totally lost the thread. Been rather busy over here. If you want, we can jump them to Dawnstar and crash the party that Janus and Nerussa's Skyrim characters are having. |

Shivani-of course it was legal........well, apart from me always driving too fast :$ ....and possibly the loud music and singing with the sun roof open.......and taking photos where we shouldn't...and not understanding the signs in Stirling Castle (that's our story) and finding places we shouldn't....yeah, pretty much... ;) Then I realised it was Jhared who said that, and not Shivani! Well...it applies to you both-though not the bit about Stirling Castle, Jhared!! Well...I think I'll draw a veil over your shenanigans, Mr Dunmer! LOL I have obviously had too much fun with both of you! LOL Of course.....Jhared, Lucien and Thoryn...I'm looking at you! Edinburgh is STILL recovering. It's Fife that needs to recover after Shivani! Thanks, Reaper! (Sorry for the delayed response. I've been sick and crazy busy at work - not a great combo but I've been through worst.) Yep, we have 7 states. I live in the largest one, Western Australia. Then there's South Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania. I'll probably start off small, explore Australia a bit, and then branch out to Europe and America. I'm having a hard time deciding between which city to visit first when I visit Europe: Fife, Scotland or Stuttgart, Germany. The latter is very similar to my home city (from what I've heard) but Fife is where many a dear friend of mine live! ;) |

It's a good idea to get a feel for your own Country first. I did, and you appreciate your own even more after you learn all about it and see others! I hate to disappoint you, but Fife is a whole County (Think Cyrodiil's counties.) Our nearest city is Dundee in the North, Edinburgh to the South and Perth and Stirling to the West. Glasgow is further West. To the East is the North Sea! Fife is known as the Kingdom of Fife, after one of the Kings of Fife well over a thousand years ago. He was called Fibh...pronounced Fife. St Andrews is about 35 minutes drive away, Edinburgh about the same (using the Road Bridge). Check out Gloryhammer, and their new album, Tales from the Kingdom of Fife! |

I feel the same. Role-playing can be a wonderful outlet to let things out, particularly if you're in a tense or stressful situation. Personally, I like to draw on real life situations as inspiration for what I say and how I act as my character. She's lived a different life to me but we are very similar, methinks. Not in ALL ways, but certainly in some ways. Anywho, sorry I've been so lax in my posting! Stress ahoy! |
