Welcome to Brotherhood of Sithis. We hope you enjoy your visit.

You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. This means you are limited to certain aspects of the board and there are some features you cannot use. If you would like to join our Elder Scrolls based community, you must create a character within the lore of the Elder Scrolls and write them a back story. Our story began approximately a year after the Oblivion Crisis, and it ranges all over Tamriel. Each Province is represented and usable. Please take the time to read the back stories of those who are already here before you write yours, so we do not have repeats of ideas. (Great minds, after all, do think alike!)

We now have a section that takes place during and after the events in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This section does not in any way interact with the old one.

Again, you are most welcome here! Once your story is complete, join up and post it! A Speaker will contact you, and you will be able to join a Sanctuary. Or, if you would rather not be a member of the Brotherhood, you can request to play another faction. It is rather flexible and good. If you have any questions, feel free to email Shivani at anonymous_celt@yahoo.com.

Please note that The Elder Scrolls, The Dark Brotherhood, Sithis, and several of the NPCs are all owned by Bethesda Softworks.

:D ROFL! And a sense of humour! I don't stalk-I'm just doing my job as Listener! Thank you, Rellis! First visit to the site this morning, and you made me laugh!

:D Hey, that's my job! LOL Kidding! Very funny, Rellis. We do have a self-proclaimed stalker on this site. She stalks.... my character! I take the compliment!

Mm, I have to agree with Alani. Tigerpaw is very much unlike any character I've ever seen in my 5 years of RPing. You put a lot of time and thought into him and it really shows, Rellis. :)

*Smiles innocently* Can't imagine who you're talking about, Jhared... :P

Oddly This char is a mix of a lot of different ones i worked with in the past. Rellis took a long time to define and now that i have a general personality for him i throw in into odd backgrounds to find out how he gets though them :3. kinda the fun of the char i guess >.>

Hooyah, duty station!!!
I have made it to San Diego! And I'm partially checked in. I have to report to the mech office at noon. I'm chuffed, but seriously tired. I was up for about 22 hours, most of it en transit, and I think I got about 4 hours of sleep. But I can't sleep past time anymore, and yeah. I may as well be doing things!

I am inspired by the dedication of my Voice and other members who post whenever they have a few moments! Well done, Shivani! -Does San Diego know what's hit it???

Sorry for the slow posting speed, been playing guild wars 2 and kind of focused on that when I am in the barracks :3.

Rellis, don't apologise! I know how extremely busy you must be (after all, Shivani is my very best friend and wee sister, and I know the kind of schedule she has!) and your posting rate is fine!

I quite agree. I keep an eye on posting rates ,just to inform the Listener if one thread is lagging and may need a boost, and I can tell you that you have kept the threads you have been involved in alive and moving. One day missed, even two is not a problem at all.
The Listener has always run our various sites like a family, and like any family, we have those who, though busy themselves, will spare five minutes to help their brethren along. Let's face it, all of us lead pretty hectic lives, but this is our fun time. I'm glad you are enjoying the fun!

A Marine? I salute you , Sir! My cousin was in the Royal Marines. You guys are epic! And you still post so frequently? Hats off to you! :)

Rofl, I am still In school for my MOS (my job) but other then that I still have some duties as a normal Marine. Mind you I am not on the front line like the infantry, I am in the rear with the gear... as the song goes.

Still, as I understand it from the Royal Marines, just to even become one is an honour in itself! All you service personnel deserve a hats off, I think! (My Dad was in the Royal Navy)

*Banging head against wall* Two weeks - This is my longest ever bout of MIA! ...Well, since I started playing Aundae, anyway. *Ceases head-banging* Sorry M'Aiq! I got so busy at work and then, on top of that, got sick. The past weekend, I was walking around like a zombie (when I had the energy) and felt so sore and tired. I knew I was in no frame of mind to be able to post as Aundae - I'd have made her sound like she was high on drugs. And I wasn't even on any! LOL

I'll try to make sure I'm never away for that long again without letting someone from the BH know. Sorry guys!

Lucien contacted me to let me know I was needed, so I have responded to the post.
There seems to be a lot of sickness about. I know the Listener has been quite laid low recently. Must be the weather!

Must be. A lot of people in my office have been coming down with viruses and colds. Winter is finally here - Huzzah! Well... In the southern hemisphere anyway. ;-)

well it is summer here and it is abnormally hot, illness seems to be also running rapid here.... but it should pass in time, almost everything else dose.

We're really not that much used to heat. If it reaches 75 deg F, we all complain about being too warm! It's late Spring, early Summer here, and we have only recently got rid of the snow. It's a lovely bright day today...at 41F! Suits me!

You wouldn't be a fan of the Australian summers. This past summer, there were days when it reached 42 degrees Celsius! I hated it... all you can do on a day like that is just place yourself in front of the nearest air con vent, set it to full blast and hope the power doesn't go out.

Alright. You know... I have just about had it. I really have.
I work 10-12 hour shifts. I get up at 0300 to make it onto this site before I have to go to work. I WALK the 1.5 miles to work sometimes. I walk home most times. I have to walk to the commissary. That's about 3/4 of a mile. I walk everywhere. I still have to PT.
I GET LESS THAN 3 HOURS TO MYSELF ON WEEK DAYS. And I work weekends when I'm on duty.
I still find time to not leave other people hanging in threads. I am not Supergirl or Wonder Woman. I'm just me. If I can do it, anyone can.
I really don't want to hear about how busy people are anymore because it is the lamest excuse in the damn book. If someone is waiting for you, and you've just left them hanging, that's rude. In the Navy, we'd just say, "You are wrong." In the Marines? Well, Rellis could tell us all about it. He's busy as fuck. I'm busy as fuck. We're still here. Alani? Not in the military, but busy as fuck with her real life. I know, I used to live there. She's still here.
Let's all go back to being polite and actually responding to the people we're playing with. Thank you.

I would also like to add that my job... is not on my rear. I am on my feet for the whole shift. My life is on my wits and my reflexes as I run through a rotor arc to remove chocks from the helos before they take off. I climb tail pylons and up onto the hats. I have sat on rotors and balanced to secure things. Safety wiring is all well and good, but when you're hanging off of something, holding it with your legs... it can be rather nerve wracking. This is my job. This is my life. I enjoy every minute of it, so please don't think I don't. I fucking LOVE what I do. But I am always exhausted when I get home. Always. And I have very little time for anything... but I make time for what I care about. I call my mother all the time, and I speak to my "sisters" as often as possible with our different schedules.
So, please, for the love of God, don't tell me "I'm so busy, I can't do ___________." Because... I will laugh at you until I hurt.

Rofl, I know that story all too well... I will spare everyone of the drama and say I do somewhat the same thing with the exception of jets. Now as for my lack of posting for the last few days.... I am having one hell of a time of righters block, so until I can think of something eligible to post (more then 1 sentence) I will sit back and let rellis sleep, it seems he needs the rest.

That is completely fine-and so do you, by the sounds of it! As it involves Lucien only, I'm sure he won't be worried-I keep him busy enough with other stuff! LOL

Thanks for the heads up, Rellis. I appreciate it. Writer's block can be a pain. You can also pm the Black Hand for a help at any time, don't forget. As the Listener says, I am playing Ulfric , as well as taking my turn on Static from time to time with the rest of the Hand, and doing my Black Hand duties, (if I neglect them, I shouldn't be on the Hand!) so I am not fretting everyday looking to see if there is a post for me - there will always be a few!

Please, everyone, be thoughtful to the person you are posting with, as Rellis has been. Some players have only one character, or two. Sometimes one is not needed in a thread, so they concentrate on the other one. If you disappear for whatever reason, they may be left high and dry. Even a sentence will keep a thread going-and , come on guys, how long does it take to post a sentence?

Just a heads up for everyone who likes good music (in my opinion!)

Check out Gloryhammer - 'Heroic fantasy Power Metal' band. They have a FB page, and- my favourites (of course) Pirate Metal Band, Alestorm -also on FB, and like Gloryhammer, all you need to do is type in their name for a selection of sites.

Enjoy, ye lubbers!
