I really didn't like the Nintendo Wii... I love Nintendo products usually (Gameboy, DS, POKEMON!) -- But the Wii was awful... What do you think? |

It's a party console... It's of no interest to me. |

Bleh... It's popularity is hugely undeserved IMO. |

it's popular because so many people can pick it up and play it. nintendo had their console tuned to be right for the general masses, not just pro gamers, or 14 year old obese children. for what it is it's good, it's designed to be something most people can enjoy, something people can play at a party or with friends, not something people sit down for hours on wasting the day blasting peoples e-heads off. |

It is a group console but I don't think I'd buy it for the simple fact that I normally play single player games. |

I don't personally like it, but congrats to Nintendo none the less. It's vastly outsold both the PS3 and 360, been sold out for two xmasses in a row and has got huge numbers of followers. The main reason for this is that they attracted a lot of girls/women and casual gamers to it, something both Microsoft and Sony haven't done at all. I mean, before the Wii, I don't think I'd everheard a girl even talk about a console let alone want one. And as for casual gamers, who aren't bothered about tech or whatever, the Wii is ALOT cheaper than both other consoles. So yeah, although it doesn't appeal to me personally, Nintendo deserve praise none the less. |

yeah. how many ladies do you come across that sit at their comp all day, playing C&C 3 and are fully aware how to manage an economy, have all MP unlocks for all classes on BF2142, have a lvl 70 on WoW etc etc. guys tend to be more interested in exessivley serious gaming. the wii doesn't have this outlook on gaming. |

We're not saying that girl gamers don;t exist, just that 95% of gamers are male. Guys in general (ie, not serious gamers) would probably be more interested in a 360/PS3 than a Wii, but out of all the girls I know, none of them would. |

I want to buy a Wii just for the hell of it. Cause I know me and my roommate are going to throw some awesome parties and I bet the Wii would make it better. But I'm most certainly going to get a PS3 and a 360 when I can afford it. |

I like the Wii. . . ![]() Certainly, the Wii is not for serious gaming. . . but that doesn't mean that you cannot have fun =/ I'm a serious gamer in terms of World of Warcraft and other MMO Games, but that doesn't mean I can't play some Wii Sports with my mates as a bit of fun. |
